Tiramisu Palm Desert Rancho Mirage Reviews from The Last Year
Cozy Atmosphere and amazing Dinner.
We had Polpette di Carne and the Affettati e Formaggi misti and we fell in love with them. Service was impeccable and welcoming. One of the most delicious restaurants around Palm Desert. Highly recommended!
Great food and excellent service!!!! Lovely outdoor patio.
Highly recommend letting the server make suggestions- everything he suggested was incredible. Wonderful experience.

Sorry just not seeing a five star rating, our Cesar salads where soggy and ice cold, had there ravioli special the 5 ravioli where so tiny and had no taste my luguni and clams tasted very salty the broth also very salty, never refilled our drinks(ice tea) waiter never checked on us we seen him twice when he took out order and then gave us the check, never offered any desert,we sat in the back there was a waiter just standing there,he had this creepy look on is face and was just starring at us,very uncomfortable, this place has gone down hill
Best Italian food in the Valley - hands down.
Run by two brothers from Sicily who make you feel you are in Italy. Food quality, service, ambience all 10/10.
Must try! Our first time there.
Great food, creative specials, fresh baked rolls. Everything delicious. Wonderful atmosphere and perfect service. Lots of regulars on a Sunday night speaks to their following. They are obviously proud of their restaurant, rightfully so.
I really hate to leave a negative review because the 2
I really hate to leave a negative review because the 2 brothers that are now the owners are so friendly, caring & helpful. I will start out with the best part: the desserts were all amazing & for me the best part of my meal. I ordered the veal with vegetables. The vegetables were excellent. While the veal was very tender it was drenched in flour!! This isn't appetizing at all. Reading some other reviews, there are others who said the same thing. I'm sorry I didn't complain right then because I read they would have taken it back & either brought me something else or taken it off the bill!! Most of the rest of our group enjoyed their meal except for one other person. I'm not sure if I will return. The service was excellent & I can't say enough good things about the owners but they have to make the veal dish much better.
My brother and I were out for an all day motorcycle
My brother and I were out for an all day motorcycle adventure and decided to stop in Palm Desert for lunch. We looked like we were a bit grimy from the riding so we wanted to just grab a local burrito. Well, two closed Mexican restaraunts later we decided on Italian for lunch. Trattoria Tiramisu was close, we were hungry, and fortune was smiling upon us. We entered the restaurant and noticed the linen table cloths and hoped we were presentable enough to get served. We were welcomed graciously and given a larger table so we could store our helmets/jackets on the extra chairs. Service was impeccable, the food was terrific (you could tell they really cared about the food they served) and the desert: squisito! Una bellissima esperienza per il pranzo, grazie mille.
I've been wanting to try this place for about 2 years, but
I've been wanting to try this place for about 2 years, but my husband and i don't go out very much. Finally we went. We should had been coming here when we wanted Italian food. Very small restaurant, with intimate seating. Clearly a lot of regulars. The workers took time to talk to their regulars (which is awesome) but also made sure us newbies had a good experience too. Answering all our questions, summer months isn't very busy anywhere, but i assume during season you'll want reservations. Our server was really friendly, the hostess was just as friendly and helpful. My husband ordered dessert from her, which i cringed a little, as i wasn't sure if that was an annoying thing to do. But they didn't seem to mind. All of the staff seemed to work together to ensure a good experience. My husband ordered the pork chop with pasta i ordered the lobster and pasta (i don't know what it's called). I was too excited to eat and forgot to take a picture. These are our desserts tho!
Great quaint restaurant.
Italian food at its best! Good service, never felt rushed. Plenty of attention from the staff but inconspicuously. Reasonable wine choices with excellent vintages to choose from. Definitely a place to try
We had been told by many of our friend that we needed to
We had been told by many of our friend that we needed to try Tiramisu. I kept putting off going for one reason or another but decided to go for a drink and appetizers. The experience was so good that it turned from drinks and appetizers to a total dining experience. We were greeted with great warmth and enthusiasm by one of the brothers who are co-owners in the restaurant. We seated at a nice table toward the back of the restaurant. The 5 star service started immediately with the attentive staff offering choices for water and dropping off a basket of bread accompanied by several delicious spreads. We order Martinis, asked if their blue cheese olives were from a jar. The waiter looked confused, replying "No, we hand stuff them here". Then we asked if they charged for the blue cheese olives ( which is an LA thing that seems to have made it out to some restaurants in Palm Springs). He replied " Why would we charge you for a garnish?" FINALLY! Now feeling validated, I lean into the vibe of the restaurant that cues me in that this may be a very special night. The Martinis arrive and are as we requested. We ordered a appetizer of carpaccio and a beet salad which were both tasty and well presented. Our main course was Osso Buco which was offered as a veal shank ( we have not seen this in a restaurant as veal is the tradition part of its preparation), which we ask to be split so we can share. The brother who sat us suddenly is rolling a table side cart toward us. He presents the dish and proceeds to split the dish table side for us. We order a bottle of wine and the experience continues to grow. Dessert is Tiramisu which lived up to our expectation. To top it off they have Black Sambuca which most restaurants no longer carry. Here's the best part, there are no extra charges or fees. They are happy to have you and cannot do enough for you. No split charges, no charge for extra bread. Dining here is the way it should be and it is an opportunity to feel good about going out again.
