Noypi's Restaurant and bar Reviews from The Last Year
If you come to a Filipino restaurant, then order Filipino
If you come to a Filipino restaurant, then order Filipino food! Came here during the evening/night time & got to experience dinner & a live band. I liked it. It can get pretty loud, so if you have a little one I would suggest bringing noise canceling earmuffs. We had a larger party, so the service was 4/10 & felt a bit rushed. Other than that, food tasted good & was a good family style portion size. The Calamansi margarita was a bit too sweet. I'd come back

The place was very nice and the food was delicious but a bit pricey. We came on a Monday late afternoon so we had the whole place for ourselves and the ambiance is great. The service was very good and the waiters were very attentive & helpful with our orders. We got our food very quickly. I wish we have this restaurant in San Diego, CA.
1st time coming here when a friend took me here.
Great 80's music that night. Place is clean and lots of room. Service was ok but the food is not good. Will go there to hang out for drinks and music on the weekend but don't expect much off their food.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I don't understand how and why
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I don't understand how and why people are going to this pretentious overpriced low class karaoke mediocre Filipino food bar and restaurant. They charged 3 times the amount of a regular cocktail. Even much more expensive than some bars on the strip. So STAY AWAY from this place. They don't breakdown the prices on the bill for each order. They just give you the final amount. So you won't see how much exactly each order they're charging the customer. They will even EXPECT A LOT OF TIP when ordering. OMG! They will charge you 3 times the amount of food and drinks. Go somewhere else where you don't have to spend an arm and a leg.
Good Lumpiang Shanghai.
The pork Sisig was disappointing- the meat used is pork ears - yuk! The pork Sinigang veggies were good but the pork was tough- ugh! Service was okay and the ambience is good with beautiful chandeliers and clean tables.

Service is terrible, people continuous complain about service. Their food is OK. But you got to pay for rice, what! How stupid is that for business. What places in Las Vegas do that ? Just give you veggie and broth with no rice lol. NO WHERE!
Food is good , but I think it's overpriced.
Most of their food in the menu are $25 & up..good service.
Not worth it and the food is sub-par.
Service is lacking especially if you're not Filipino, you are looked down at. It's a happening place if you like noise, not taken care of and being glanced at for being you. Not worth it. For the price, you can have a more upscale place in mind with better service and ambiance.

Jane, the manager, charged us $20 extra without us knowing it. Good thing I kept my receipt. This is after My husband and I were charged 18% for tip. Lesson learned, read and keep your receipt each time. Also, check your account to make sure your receipt and final charges match.

Service sucks, we were there last Saturday for dinner with my Family 6 people, they sat us down took our order, we order 2 different platters 2 order of Fried Rice, Bistek and Pinakbet, the waiter told us 30min and we said ok NP, 20 min. They gave us our fried rice only then 10 min after they gave us the Bistek another 10min our pinakbet. 20 min after that they brought out 1 of the mix platter by that tile we were pretty much full with the fried rice, Pinakbet and Bistek. Another 20 min pass we told them cancel our other platter because we are full at this point. Right before we about to ask for our check, they brought out the 2nd platter . We did not get charge for it but it would have been nice to get all our food at the same time. Music was good though.
My friends and my mom's friends have recommended this place
My friends and my mom's friends have recommended this place and I've always wanted to go here. My mom, sister, and I have tried eating here but as we walked in the door, there was a bunch of people for a party and they rented out the entire place. The second try to eat here was different. We went around 5pm on a Sunday. We called ahead and they usually offer buffets on Sunday and the rest of the week you can order whatever you want from the menu. The buffet costs $35 each which was a little pricey for the items that were offered. They make you pay first before you eat. We were the first group there since we went early and they gave us not the best seats. We sat next to the door and they kept it open so cold air was coming in. More people came and sat down later. There was also a party happening at the same time except they didn't rent out the whole place. The restaurant has a stage with drums and microphones. It would have been nice if a band played. I heard they also do karaoke. The food was okay. They offered fries (soggy), fettuccine alfredo, steak, tinola, lechon, lumpia, ribs, lobster, and a few other meats. For dessert, they had cookies and watermelon (did not look fresh). The lobster was okay and it was dry. They offer to cut the meats for you so that was actually nice. The ribs were my favorite of the whole buffet. Maybe if we went another day and ordered what we wanted it would have been a better experience. I would also love to try their drinks as they have a bar in the middle of the restaurant. I would like to give this place another chance and try to order the things I want from the menu instead of trying the buffet again.
Delicious flavors with generously large portions!! 2 of us
Delicious flavors with generously large portions!! 2 of us ate 3 items (beef soup served in a whole pot, crispy pork belly with savory&sweet brown dipping sauce, and a combo egg noodle stir fry). It's a welcoming and clean place with quick service. There was a lot of food and we had plenty leftovers to go around. Did not try the buffet but it looked delicious. Looking fwd to trying more. We were beyond satisfied.
The food was good but way over priced.
The order we got for crispy platter was $70.00 which has crispy pata lechon kawali, crispy half chicken, chicharon bulaklak with mango salsa . You can get the same order at Goldilocks for $35.00 . The waiters/waitresses are nice and pleasant. Ambiance was great very clean. The only disappointment was they charge you extra 3% surcharge for using credit cards. They should post this or just post cash only. Food are already over priced then u get 3 % surcharge plus tax . NO GOOD
A family favorite, stop on by for elevated Filipino
A family favorite, stop on by for elevated Filipino cuisine! Try their platters so you can sample several dishes that pleases all palates! Restaurant has a good, party vibe! Call ahead to see if it's karaoke night, dance night or if it's live music night! Always something happening here! Service is good - bar is full of lots of options as well but try the Filipino beverages & desserts before you head out! Enjoy!
My parents just left the restaurant with their 4 friends
My parents just left the restaurant with their 4 friends and they had the worst experience ever. Whoever is giving this place more than 2 stars doesn't know good food. So don't believe the hype. My mom said the food was mediocre and the lobster was overcooked and mushy. She also said that the watermelon was old and limp and that the cookies they had were from Costco. On top of that they also charged them a $40 service fee that WAS NOT the tip! The place was such a rip off and they'll never go back there.
