Louie Bossi's Ristorante Bar Pizzeria Boca Raton Reviews from The Last Year
Great atmosphere and the food is very reliable.
Steaks are not my favorite, but everything else is solid. We come every month for a bite.
Noisy and delicious
The meatballs and margarita pizza were excellent. The Caesar salad was just average. The noise level was extremely high; hard to talk. Service was super.
Emily was unbelievably incredible from start to finish.
We had 3 internationals friends who have never experienced Lousie Bossi. she was so amazing from creating our charcuterie board to balancing all of our drinks. Such a delight never did our drinks get low. She is definitely 5 star in the hospitality industry, and this is coming from a country club dining manager , would hire her in a heart beat.
This was our first time visiting Louie Bossi's.
This is definitely one of the better restaurants we've been to in Fort Lauderdale. They give you complimentary bread which is very good. We had the Margherita pizza to start. The pizza was delicious. Perfect ratio of cheese and sauce. I would of liked a little more basil on top because it added nice flavor. For the pastas we got the lasagne, which was the special of the day. It was good. Nothing special but good. Nicely presented and tasted good. We also got the carbonara. Again, this was good but I have had better. It had a very buttery flavor overall. We also had the Paccheri. This was the best pasta of the night. There were lots.of mushrooms and the pasta was perfectly cooked. The price was pretty steep at $32 considering it was just mushrooms and pasta. The energy in the place was fantastic. We sat outside on the front patio. It was packed for a Wednesday night. Highly recommended making reservations.
The atmosphere is cool and fun both inside and outside.
There were five of us and had a great lunch sitting at the bar. The service was exceptional and we had half price bottles of wine, the Wednesday special. The garlic bread is awesome and my favorite dish is the rigatoni bolognese which is made out of short rib. Very tasty! Multiple dishes were ordered and all were enjoyed. For good food and a fun time, I recommend Louie Bossi's.
Couldn't Eat My Food
Dined with three friends, April 6, 2024. Two days later we all came down with severe colds and I still have bronchitis 3 weeks later. Did the cooks cough on all of our food? I ordered Caesar Salad - limp, sour - returned it. I ordered CALAMARI A LA PLANCHA for main course. Under cooked, half raw - returned it. My worst dining experience in United States. Wife concurred. $8 to valet park, very limited street parking. Worst restaurant ever. Large loud crowded room. Very good waiter.
2nd visit to this location in last year.
Restaurant has great energy and vibe. Busy busy busy even as south Florida is starting to get less crowded. Our waiter was difficult to understand. Appetizers arrived without serving forks and spoons. No plates either. Interesting to witness serving antipasti salad with a regular fork onto a bread dish. This miss happened last time we visited. Dinner companion asked for a martini with olives and got a single olive. Chicken with potatoes and sausage was dry and the sausage was seasoned exactly like Swifts breakfast sausage. So much potential but this experience missed the mark.
Very satisfied
Have been 3 times - all pasta dishes were great as was the caesar salad. Decent prices, friendly efficient service, comfortable - no complaints

I like how big this restaurant is with several entrances in and out this restaurant. I have been here twice. Once with a large party and once with a table for 2. I was pretty impressed at how they handled the large party. They were kind enough to do split checks. Food arrived close within each other. I particularly enjoyed the salad and meatballs I ordered that day. As for the table of 2, I had ordered the cacio e pepe pasta and did not like it. The pasta was also very hard. I returned it and they took it off the check. Overall, great customer service.

We found this restaurant from Yelp and decided it would be great for dinner. We were going to use the $8 valet parking but found a metered spot on the street near the entrance. Upon entering at about 5:15pm, we were greeted by several hostesses. The dark-haired lady was rude and talked over the others to ensure our attention was directed to her. She told us that they had outdoor seating but we would have to be out by 6:30pm. Her tone was out of order and unwelcoming. With that behind us, we sat outside and had a delightful server. She turned everything around. Our food was delicious: rigatoni, paccheri, pepperoni pizza, fresh bread, cookie plate and cannoli. I'm craving more while writing this review. lol! Sooooo good! The drinks were solid also. BTW, we received our desserts at about 6:15pm and left at 6:40pm. After taking a stroll in the area, we walked back to our vehicle at about 7:15pm and noticed our table was still vacant along with a few other tables. Hmmm....

Louie Bossi in Boca fa venire l'acquolina in bocca--makes your mouth water! Recently I returned from my winter residence in Italy where among other assets the two principle-meals-a-day sustenance reigns supreme, I together with my family decided in favour of celebrating Easter at Louie Bossi in Boca Raton. Treading on uncharted territory--it would be our maiden visit. With bated breath, we entered and were escorted to the beau ideal-- the perfect table situated on the cusp between indoors and outdoors where animated voices did not reach a disruptive decibel and the elements of nature failed to disturb with either an unpardoning sun or a capricious wind. Shortly thereafter, Gabriel approached all smiles. There were inquiries if the pasta at Louie Bossi was parboiled-- sadly sometimes the culinary policy in many restaurants where precooked entries are the modus operandi. Italians, we dine on a minute before al dente pasta, fresh or dried. Gabriel listened attentively hardly breathing, unlike most servers, intent on taking the order and darting to the kitchen to meet a relay team member with the tabulation of minutes and seconds of utmost importance. The result: Three diverse delicious pasta dishes, truly prepared all' Italiana: Mantecati (mixed before artistically plated for a full-bodied consistency) with fresh tomatoes, whole sliced garlic, olive oil, and the correct seasoning--the full-blown "old world" aromas ha fatto venire l'acquolina in bocca ( made out mouths water)! The delicate sauce hugged the al dente pasta instead of drowning it-- the custom in many eateries. Plagued by a garlic allergy, I asked Gabriel if the lamb chops were prepared with this particular pungent seasoning. He responded affirmatively and I inquired if they were perhaps too busy on Easter to gratify my wish to have the delicacy served without garlic. Politely he excused himself announcing he would speak with the Chef. Nudis verbis--in simple words, he returned assuring me my request would be satisfied. I apologized and asked if the Chef could graciously concede one last request--to remove all traces of fat from the perimeters. Again, he smiled and turned on his heels. The much-awaited moment of reckoning arrived: The lamb chops were perfect...tender, moist, palate-teasing, delectable-- appropriately grilled to a flawless temperature compromising neither taste nor consistency while ensuring a healthy dining experience. Easter at Louie Bossi was a feast of distinction in fine dining in a comfortable eye-pleasing ambiance enhanced by soft lighting and padded seating. The restaurant scored summa cum laude on every count, from the intervention of Gabriel, a courteous, savvy, knowledgeable, aim-to-please server with savoir-faire, charisma, and commendable interpersonal skills, to excellence in the kitchen, for quality, preparation, and presentation! I hope Gabiel gets the praise and reward he merits. He's a one-in-a-million asset. Louie Bossi is a refreshing morsel of Italian culture in Boca Raton--a keeper and undeniably a return to eatery: Louie Bossi is a Boca Raton restaurant to write to my across-the-pond Italian home about! Five Stars! Bravissimo and a standing ovation to the team that makes it all happen. Complimenti!

Place does deserve more stars, you are paying for the atmosphere as well. Service is good for Florida 2024 standards and I would choose this place over 85% of the other restaurants out there.
Great food and great service
Have dined several times at Louie Bossi. Consistently great food and great service. Carpaccio appetizer, entrees of Branzino and Cacio e Pepe pasta were fresh tasting. Will definitely return
Beware
I went to this place and had 1 martini $17 The next day I was charged $98 on my credit card . Couldn’t dispute it because I left my receipt on the counter . Reading many other reviews on TripAdvisor this place is notorious for this type of scam especially with Tourists from Europe . Shame on you !!! It’s better to pay in cash in lousy places like this one . Also it’s a pickup place , just have a look at the bar with many half naked women sitting there and waiting…….
Good restaurant with a bit high price.
Nice restaurant with a large outdoor terrace. Serving genuine Italian food. A large menu with lots to choose from. A bit high price but good food.
Terrible do not eat here
We entered the restaurant and were not even greeted nicely at all sat at a table and asked the waitress to try and lower AC and she said NO.......we were shocked at her answer and told my wife let's get the hell out of here. We got up and will never return Told all our friends about this place
Worth Trying. Very Classy.
Beautiful place. I was hesitant because there were a lot of filled tables, but it was a good sign. I had the ravioli, which come with prosciutto on top, and my son had the Pasta al Forno, which comes with short pasta with pesto sauce and sausage. Both were the right portion and delicious. Three people kept checking on us and the waiter kept refilling our drinks. Couldn't ask for a better time.
Delicious
Pasta is one of my favorite foods so I have gone to many Italian restaurants. However, Louie Bossi's pasta has been one of my favorites and I will never forget it!!! The place is very beautiful, both inside and outside, during the day and at night. Perfect environment to go and share with friends or family. The service is excellent and fast and the food is delicious, I tried some starters and different types of pasta and I loved it! One of my favorite places to eat in Boca Raton :)
