Waiter forced to pay out of pocket for error
Awful experience, the waiter brought the wrong cake. When I pointed it out, they checked their tablet and confirmed the order was wrong. The waiter said because I took a bite out of it, I had to pay for it. Obviously I asked how I would know it was wrong if I hadn’t tasted it. Manager came and said he’s down a slice of cake so either I pay for it or he’ll take it out the waiter’s wages! Disgusting place, would hate to support this type of establishment.
Food of Jordan - so very flavorful
We visited your establishment a week ago on Saturday April 13th. You were able to squeeze us in in the early afternoon and as we had a long day in Cambridge this was truly appreciated. The staff , the service and the food was all amazing. Of the foods we had on our week long visit to London , your meal was the one I enjoyed the most. The spices and flavors made my palate happy. My one regret is that I did not save room for desert. Thank you Steve Koziol

It's easy to see why this place was packed in a week night; nothing bad to say! Service was friendly and attentive, and the setting relaxed and comfortable. All the wines are from Jordan; make sure you order a bottle! Every dish we got was fantastic, including the desserts which are also all homemade.
Staff needs better training
The food looked fresh but staff seemed poorly trained. I asked a waiter what were the sauces I was given in one dish however he struggled, his English was poor and had to ask a colleague for help. I felt rushed and a bit harassed. After finishing the food plates were taken too soon, normally more time is given. Also another waiter came to clear the table whilst I was not ready to leave. He had to wait for me to get ready. The restaurant was almost empty so no need to rush!! It's little details that staff does not seem to know and need better training as I felt rushed and treated a bit in a rude way. I am not sure if I will return.

Nice atmosphere, good location, delicious food, lovely waitresses (especially Olivia ) unfortunately we disliked very rude manager!!

Amazing flavors, great prices, family atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff! My husband and I love it so much we take anyone that comes to visit us.
Commercial and inauthentic food
Terrible food and poor service. For the mains meat was cold and more like shawarma, instead of fresh slow cooked meat, as per their menu. I was expecting proper Jordanian food however I was disappointed with the food.
Rude staff and average food
Staff could do with some training! I decided to go to this restaurant on a visit to Cambridge after seeing Google reviews. I was disappointed by the way we were treated! We asked for a table for two, the manager said “why you haven’t booked?”we have only this table available we will clean it off for you ( a table next to the door that kept opening in the cold weather). There was another table I could see with no reserved sign on it which we asked about and was told it’s reserved. Shortly after we were seated, a couple of girls came in, the manager asked if they have booking and they said no and he took them straight to the other table. I felt we were not welcomed and treated differently! The food was average too not sure what the reviews were about. Sheesh tawoq was good, the rice was one of the blandest I had in my life, and the moussaka was nothing like moussaka. The mains were brought when the table was already full of empty/ done with plates, and we were expected to make room for the new course and manage the space! Overall, it’s an average place and I wouldn’t recommend it for a night out. It’s the first and last time for me.
Found a hidden gem
Called in on the promise of good food by a Facebook review. And we were not disappointed. As the portions were large we decided not to order a starter. I had mixed shawarma, which was lovely. Plenty of salad and a bowl of mixed pickles came with it. My husband had the sea bass. Again very nice. But we were waiting about 40 minutes for our food, other tables arriving after us were served first. I can only presume this was because the sea bass was perhaps frozen then needed to be cooked on the bbq. The mango drink and the lemon mint drink were delicious. I noticed a lot of people didn’t touch the bowls of pickles. There were pickles on the plates so wonder if the extra pickles are actually necessary (. I did eat mine lol). Lots of staff seemed to be hovering around, as it wasn’t too busy. All in all a good experience and we will definitely be back

Poor Costumer service
Arrived without a booking, informing us that they were fully booked, although they managed to find us a table. A few minutes after we were sitted, they were really pressing us to order even we weren’t ready. I informed the first staff, that we needed more time, after 2 minutes another person came and wanted to take the order, even it was obvious that we were still looking at the menu. The menu has 5-6 pages and many options for someone who is not familiar with their traditional cuisine and afterall we went there to eat and enjoy our time, not get stressed and mistreated. When I went to pay- I assume it was the manager or the owner asking me how was everything- I told him that everything was fine, but I expected the stuffed vine leaves to be homemade and he very ironically and aggressively tried to convince me that they were. I really had a very bad costumer service experience. I am not leaving this review about the food, because as I mentioned I’m not familiar with this cuisine. However, a good costumer service experience is beyond everyone’s expectations.

Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
