I don’t remember such a bad and horrible experience at a restaurant. Taking into account it was a 1100$ bill for 5 people, the servers forced us, from the very beginning, to order more and more entrees wit the excuse that “the chef was very picky and needed all the courses ordered at the same time”. Actually, they came twice to our table and insisted we should order more food because later they said it would be impossible. We felt their desperate rush to make a bigger bill and that turned us off. After, they brought a hookah for which they charged 175$ plus tax (of course they never said ANYTHING about the cost). The pasta was soaking in oil, and the Villa Azur salad was, for 20$, a mountain of romaine lettuce. We left it complete. Our friend was celebrating her birthday, and they never brought candles in her cake after we complained about all this. Of course, they included their service in the bill without even asking. The feeling is you are in an artificial place where they care about how high the bill can reach, but not about their clients or the quality of the food, the restaurant and the venue. You do not feel cared for or that the service is honest in any way.
