The presence of Vietnamese food is simple with high tasting flavors with a variety of vegetables and spices. Simple to say this place didn't deliver. Highly recommend from multiple places but as a Vietnamese person.. I can't wait for this to exit my bowels tonight. What we ordered: euros Pho beef- 10 Egg rolls - 9Sea rolls - 9The pho bowl was a size of the palm of your hand with no expectations of flavor except a deep beef flavor that lingers a bit after a sip of the soup. Besides that there were no flavors other then that simple taste throughout the meal. The rolls were nothing impressive with the sauce adding nothing but a feeling of water. The fish sauce lacked flavor beyond what I have been exposed too. Who should eat here? Maybe someone who's never had Vietnamese food before, but if you have had pho or Vietnamese food then please stay away

This is a big no coming from someone who grew up in a small Vietnamese community in Orange County. Beef pho - the broth honestly just tasted like collagen water, there is absolutely no taste of beef in the broth at all. Portion is tiny as well. Trio nem cuon with crab and salmon - big L for me.Did not taste anh crab and was not expecting them to use smoked salmon for the salmon roll. I would not recommend this michelin guide restaurant to any person craving true authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

Wonderful atmosphere, wide variety of options from appetizers all the way through desserts. The pho was less flavourful than some I've eaten abroad and could use more garnish and meat but all in all, not a bad dish at all.Desserts were delicious! I personally had the tris with coffee and i am not sure i could pick a favourite. The ginger cake, maybe... MAYBE Sure a very good Vietnamese restaurant to give a try to!

Since when is Vietnamese food pricey?! I feel like giving this place 3 stars is generous. The only reason I give it 3 stars is because 1) the waiter was super kind and helpful, which is rare to find in restaurants in Milan and 2) I thought one of the concepts for a soup was interesting: I had a shrimp, lemongrass and rice noodle soup served inside of a young coconut. The waiter told me they pour the coconut water into a pot, cook all the ingredients in it and then pour the contents back into the coconut. The soup is a little savory and mostly sweet due to the sweetness of the coconut water. They give you a long metal spoon to scoop the coconut meat, which I did and it added an extra coconut flavor and different texture compared to the other contents in the soup. Basically, it is VERY fresh and coconutty, which I LOVED. It could have used more seasoning, like cilantro and thinly shaved onion maybe. It cost 16 euros, which I thought was expensive but I suppose the price is for how "exotic" this soup is and it does not reflect the price of the contents. I also ate their pho. This is a Vietnamese restaurant so I expected this to be standard, however it is in Milan which tries to be posh and chic so there is no room for true Vietnamese cuisine. I was disappointed with the pho. The noodles were overcooked, the broth was diluted and tasted watery, there was no extra basil/chilis/bean sprouts, no sriracha and hoisin sauce, no tripe nor tendon, no onions, and I'm not sure if it was cilantro and mint or what green herbs they put in, but it was not enough either. Basically, they skimped on EVERYTHING that makes pho delicious. For dessert, I had their plate of assorted sweets: coconut flan, ginger cake, a rich dark chocolate cake, cinnamon whipped cream, and an espresso. They were decent. The ambiance is cool, really zen and they tried to make it look exotic. I liked it.

Good foods combined with good wines and a staff kind and friendly always ready to explain you all the particularities of what you order. Not cheap but in Milan in these years this is the trend: taking in consideration that today you pay average 40 euros for 2 pizzas, 2 beers and 2 coffees...at the end not so expensive for this type of restaurant.
