You can find this gorgeous dining space nestled in the busy streets of Melrose Avenue! I got to enjoy a delicious feast with friends and ended the dining experience by tying a wish on their wishing tree! The star of the show was definitely their whole New Zealand Sea Bream! I highly recommend trying this dish if you love fish! It was cooked in lots of fresh herbs, spices and fresh ingredients! We started our meal with some Mezze which came with housemade bread and dips! We got the spiced labneh, marinated olives, and roasted cauliflower agrodolce (loved this one). Order some starters to share: marinated anchovies on top of a sourdough, grilled octopus, beef sirloin (skewers), and a hangar steak! Desserts were amazing but I highly highly recommend you end the meal with their house made cheesecake (literally chef kisses) P.S. Street parking so come early to snag a spot!

I love the ambiance here! Have been for brunch and for dinner - sat in the outdoor patio both times. It has a very relaxed feel with trees surrounding you.The dinner food is much better than the brunch food. They serve the spreads all day, but I liked the dinner items much more. For brunch, the shakshuka missed the mark for me.

I loved this place! We stumbled across it late on night and only had desert; we want to go back but for the last couple weeks are not able to make a reservation online OR get anyone on the phone. I'm worried they may be closed down..?
Be the first to ReplySuch a beautiful outdoor courtyard dining area.
Entrance could be hard to find. On Melrose, there is a small hallway that leads up to the courtyard. The ambiance was so sweet and charming, but everything also tastes amazing. Went for dinner, and their burrata toast was my favorite. Definitely suggest it. Parking is street parking.

Tree of wishes is a hidden Aegean gem! Nestled on Melrose this is fresh delicious Turkish cuisine . So cute for a date night. There are trees everywhere and it's inside a converter small apartment complex. You feel like your in another world in here. Staff is friendly and attentive. The menu has a lot of interesting dishes I would say the fried zucchini is a must! Very light comes with lemon and a delicious to tzasiki sauce. Muhammara is so delicious! Walnut spicy blend. Olives are a delight and a fresh pita bread as well. We also have a basque cheesecake super light and fluffy! A nice selection of wines and bubbly. And of course the joy to and you get to write your wish and tie it to a tree. Definitely check it out. Very romantic very charming.
Be the first to ReplySuper cute spot and good food.
Shakshuka was a little tangy, but the burgers were really rich and flavorful. I loved the pita bread that came with the shakshuka. Will be returning to try out dinner :)

From the moment you walk in, to the time you leave the service is excellent. The food is phenomenal; I practically licked my plate. Our two servers were patient and kind during our visit and even took a picture for us. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is a foodie and sucker for a good view. I will be back!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing find.
One of my best friends lives just down the street so after a trip to the new Academy Museum of Motion Pictures last night (Fri) I suggested we stop here for a late dinner, around 9pm as I had bookmarked it for awhile (I think they opened during Covid). Upon arriving we saw it was a bit of a slow night, but the hostess and our subsequent server (Jennifer) were just fantastic and didn't once make us feel bad for the late seating. In fact, Jennifer made a point to not only make us feel welcome, but comfortable on the patio, offering blankets should we get cold.Ambiance is gorgeous, whether you're inside or outside on the patio. We felt some deja vu as we recalled this was a wine bar before Tree of Wishes (we forgot the name)...but they really did a good number on refreshing the space. Again, not once did we feel rushed, even when the kitchen closed soon after we arrived. Even the support staff and manager were kind as they all stopped by our table.Limited selection of wines by the glass but what we had were really quite good, and affordable. It was a burger kind of night for us, but decided to also go for the burrata toast as an app, at my friend's urging. I was wary since I was thinking "that's a whole lot of bread for one night" and when it arrived I was overwhelmed with the visual...but as soon as I took a bite just, wow. It was melt-in-your-mouth goodness, with the freshest tomatoes and burrata ever. Then the burger. The fries. We were both blown away by how good everything was. He inhaled his (and trust me, he is VERY particular) and I stopped maybe 2/3 in only because I knew I would have done the same and not slept well for the night but that entree was good. SO GOOD. I told Jennifer to give props to the chef as the food quality was such a nice surprise especially for this impromptu dinner. She mentioned business has been slow so take this as your sign to go here immediately before it becomes swarmed. Cute vibes here if you're on a date, a GNO, whatever your calling. Will for sure be back (they closed the kitchen before we could punch through our order for the olive cake that sounded absolutely divine).

The service was great; Emma was great and checked in frequently (but not too frequently) to see if we needed anything. We ate on the patio and never went inside the restaurant, but the area where we were seated was charming and intimate; a really comfortable vibe. Here's a breakdown of the food we ordered on our first visit:- Mezze: Charred Onion Feta + House-made bread -- delicious. The bread was phenomenal. SO FLUFFY!- Hangar Steak: Properly cooked, the muhammara on-point, but the portion size could be improved (as others have noted).- Half Chicken: Very tender, beautifully cooked; a decently-sized portion that could be shared.- Wilted Greens: A little salty. Very basic. Not winning or losing any points with sauteed spinach, but no complaints.- Basque-Style Brรปlรฉe Cheesecake: ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. - 805 Beer - Bottled. One piece of feedback to the servers: Ask the patron if they'd like to have their beer poured into a glass or would like to be served a chilled glass and bottle, instead.Throw some more interesting brews on there once things pick up :)I'd like to come back in a few weeks, there are plenty of things on the menu we'd like to try but wanted to keep it safe on the first outing.Cheers to the Chef for stopping by and asking for feedback -- your team is doing well and with a few tweaks you'll have it nailed!

The food was great and the ambiance was very nice! The outdoor patio is super cute and the staff was attentive but not overbearing. The dress code of the staff was interesting... our waitresses shirts were so short I could see her bum cheeks.
