Early dinner
Great tasting food. Small dishes and have to buy sides to compensate. Expensive wine list. Would say food is good but very overpriced and not value for money. Also was very busy and were pushed to leave for next sitting. For the price of our meal which was $90 per head it was basic. I would venture elsewhere in the future. I feel the popularity of this chain restaurant is currently living off its name more than its value. It has a limited lifespan that currently is making a lot of profit but will not do this long term. People are not stupid.
Be the first to ReplyUltimate buzzy restaurant must have item the wood fired bread
Went as a family for a late lunch 2.30 on a Saturday. I did feel I took the average age up somewhat as certainly it’s the place for the 20 and 30 something crowd That said the place is fabulous such a buzz and and chilled atmosphere I cannot recommend enough the wood fired bread it’s amazing the 5 of us had three of them in the end. We just had the anti pasta and the choice is extensive we kept ordering more Good service excellent food you do need to book it was rammed at this time of time but an absolute must place to go for great food
Be the first to ReplyRelaxed and friendly venue with great food and wine, reasonable pricing.
Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere, classical pasta dishes with mains and sides providing a tasty contrast and variety. Generally reasonably priced - $30-45 for mains unless you want half a cow (800-1000g steaks) for well over $100. Friendly staff (Luca was very relaxed yet helpful and attentive) with a well constructed winelist.
Be the first to ReplyA Sydney Gem
Visitors to Sydney so we were taken there by family members. A wonderful experience…great vibe, outstanding service, kid friendly & amazing food. The restaurant manager was a gem as was our waitress Louise. I was even offered a job which was tempting. Do yourselves a favour…go and enjoy one of dining’s pleasures.
Be the first to ReplyNice food, good atmosphere
I had a dinner reservation at the restaurant. The restaurant was full and very busy but a good atmosphere and vibe. I loved the pate and the special bread they make. My friend and I had pasta's for the main which was very good. Would go there again.
Be the first to ReplyMuch more than Delicious Food!
Totti’s is an Experience! Generous servings of flavoursome fish, chicken, pork, pasta, vegetables and salads to share. Excellent service, full bar and great ambience. Highly recommended.
Be the first to ReplyHigher priced than it was worth
The first issue is access. Although in a suburban area, it is one with many households parking on the street, so it is quite difficult to find somewhere to park. If you find a space, also most spaces charge a fee and have time limits if not local. You may have to park streets away from the restaurant. On entry, the space is very big, and with hard surfaces all around, walls, floors, chairs, warehouse style. The appearance is fine, but it makes things very noisy, filled with people and noise reflecting throughout. Prices on the menu are high, starting with $14 just for the bread to accompany any entree you select. While presentation is good, prices are a lot higher than they should be, especially as many items are individual so you need to combine them. e.g. for the entrees you are best served with the bread and some other choices, and with the main they are best accompanied by a number of sides - which are also split into individual vegetables, rather than a variety as you normally get elsewhere. The menu selection seemed a little odd, without classics that you would expect, but you can check that out in advance and see whether it suits. As for the food itself, it was good - but some main dishes for our party were slightly overcooked, so not great on the whole. One of our orders was for a side dish of rocket, and that hadn't been washed properly and was gritty. Service was decent, but it was a little hard to get staff attention, and they were a little rushed when there. Later in the meal, we also had a mystery order arrive that nobody had ordered. This was taken back without issue, but again indicative that it is a busy rather than service oriented venue. At the end of the meal, the main feeling left was the high cost paid compared to what you got.
Be the first to ReplyLovely lunch on a rainy, cold afternoon
We had a work team’s lunch at Totti’s. It was a wet, dull day when we arrived but the restaurant was warm and inviting. I loved the open space and rustic decor. Since we were a large group, we had the set menu and it was all delicious. The antipasto was superb as were the lamb ragù and crab pasta dishes. The fish and chicken main dishes were wonderful too.. They have a good selection of wines and beers and the service is friendly and efficient. My only negative is that the music is a bit loud and it’s hard to hear people talking when you’re in a large group but it’s not bad enough to deduct points. We had a lovely afternoon.
