The Pepper Club Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
This place is a 10000/10.
We stayed an extra night in Vegas just to go back for their seasonal peach French toast. PLEASE KEEP THIS FLAVOR ON THE MENU!!! It is WAY too good to get rid of!!! Everything we had was exceptional but that French toast is unreal. So so good!! The atmosphere is clean, smells great and looks so fun and comfortable at the same time. Service was wonderful!!! The hostess knew we just got married and had us wait a few moments so we could have a booth (so so sweet) and our waitress was kind, quick and totally on it the whole time. I WISH WE HAD THIS IN CALIFORNIA SO BAD!!!! It's a must go!!! It's off strip, so well priced and just incredible
Went in today for brunch with friends from out of town.
I ordered the seasonal French toast with peaches and bacon after a suggestion from our server, who said she favored that over the Ube French toast. Service was great, although the runner kept bringing food to our table that we did not order (to the tune of 3 Ube French toasts and 2 orders of bacon) lol Looking back, I should have ordered the Ube French toast. It must have been a sign!! The peach French toast was very underwhelming. It came slathered with loads of whipped cream, there really wasn't any flavor to it other than the few peaches and what looked to be 1-strips of bacon cut into 4-pieces. The bacon was great, I could have ordered a plate of that on its own! Skip the peach French toast, go for the Ube, it looked amazing and everyone who ordered it around us appeared to be super happy! Definitely not worth the price tag. I only ate one piece, couldn't stomach anymore whipped cream, and felt hungry just a few hours later. :-/ My husband liked his breakfast and said the eggs were great, but didn't care for the little triangle of a waffle which didn't even come with syrup (you have to request it.) Restaurant had a cool little vibe with a bar in the center. Atmosphere started off really quiet but got increasingly louder as the time went on. We got there around 11:15 am. I can cross this place off my list, but we won't be back. It was a bit pricey, ran us about $45 before the tip. We only ordered two meals, no drinks. For that price, we could have had full, satisfying meals, and drinks at our favorite breakfast spots.
I went to The Pepper Club twice while visiting Las Vegas.
I originally went to try the Ube Stuffed French Toast that everyone raved about online; however, I tried this dish on my second visit. On my first visit I ordered a TPC Vesper Cocktail ($20) and the Jurassic Peach French Toast. The waiter suggested I ordered the Jurassic Peach French toast, a seasonal dish, instead of the Ube Stuffed French Toast. I was not disappointed in their recommendation in thee least. Also, the cocktail was nice and strong. The waiter was attentive with ensuring cups were filled and needs were met. 5/5 for my first visit for food, flavor, staff, and ambiance. On my second visit, I came back to see if the Ube Stuffed French Toast ($22) was worth the hype. Unfortunately, in comparison to the Jurassic Peach French Toast it missed the mark. I'd have to give it a 3/5. I didn't order a cocktail this time because I stuffed my stomach to the max to finish my dish and drink during my first visit. Lol I'd visit this place again and I'm happy a friend recommend this location to me from their last Las Vegas Trip. They take reservations and please pay attention to what time they start service for things you want off the menu. Although they opened before 9 am, the french toast dishes were not available until then.
Service was amazing! Shout out to Paula for her kindness
Service was amazing! Shout out to Paula for her kindness and efficient service. Everything was swift and she was extremely attentive. Overall, the ambiance was lovely. Thank you :). The food was good! We ordered the JFC sandwich (not pictured), the steak and eggs, and the ube toast. The JFC sandwich was good in both portion size and taste. The steak and eggs are exactly what you would expect-- steak and eggs! The only thing we had to say was how disappointed we were in the ube french toast. I will say, it is cute for pictures! But that's about as far as it goes. Calling it "ube" is a bit of a stretch. It's honestly more of a purple colored cream than anything. The ube flavor was so subtle you could've told me it was a regular purple dessert and I would've believed you. The bread was also dry. I was expecting a filling or something to make this worth its price tag but there wasn't any, just some purple colored cream and regular dry bread.

Located near the Arts District and Downtown Las Vegas, The Pepper Club is a unique asian fusion restaurant featuring Japanese, Filipino, etc. influences. Not too far from the Strip, it is about a 10 minute drive away. I would also recommend a reservation, but during breakfast it wasn't busy at all. I tried the Matcha Waffle and Ube Toast. While they are most known for the Ube filled toast, I thought the JFC Waffle stood out the most for me. The Ube flavor is very slight and the cream isn't overwhelmingly sweet. However, I thought the dish was forgettable and just okay. The JFC Waffle's standout was the chicken. It was extremely tender and the sauce complimented the waffle well. If I were to go back that would be my order. Service is brilliant, our server was very attentive and offered great recommendations. Alongside this we were seated quickly. It is located in front of a residential area, it is beautiful on the inside and would be a great date spot.

As much as I really wanted to like this place, it's not for me. It's hip. Very hip. A very pretty space, and reservations are recommended. But the food did not meet the hype, especially since I'm not a drinker. I have no reason to go back. Small bites of overpriced food that just weren't done well enough to warrant the price. For example, if you're going to sell fish on crispy rice, make sure the rice is actually crispy and not stale. If you enjoy drinking, you will probably enjoy the ambience, so I recommend checking it out if you are nearby. If you are going there just to eat, I would hesitate to recommend the food based on the tiny portions, prices, and execution. Service was hit or miss. Bartender was incredibly kind and hospitable, but we received a death stare from a server who delivered one of our entrees when we accidentally interrupted her to ask a question (we thought she was done talking). Bartender told us "oh yeah that's just how she is." Unfortunately, not impressed. If you're here to eat, I'd look elsewhere in Sin City.

Entering The Pepper Club you are greeted with a beautiful, dark, and lavish environment. We were seated immediately and very quickly were introduced to our server for the meal. The service from beginning to end was elite, from the recommendations to the making sure we had everything we needed. We ended up ordering the Taco Belle, crispy rice, JFC Waffle, pork chop, and the Ube French Toast for dessert. Starting off with the Taco Belle, this was probably my favorite dish of the night. The short ribs were tender and flavorful, the shell was crisp, and combined with the spicy citrus slaw, micro cilantro, and chili threads resulted in a very unique and delicious bite. The textures and mouth feel were on point and the ratio of ingredients allowed for every element to show face without getting drowned out by one dominating flavor. I could have eaten 3 orders (9 total) of these tacos. Just a phenomenal example of Japanese fusion. After that we were served the crispy rice, which although some might say was a little "basic" was a very enjoyable dish. The rice was cooked perfectly; nice and crispy while still retaining the moisture. Each bite delivered a crunch that paired nicely with the contrasting mouth feel of the spicy tuna. For the first couple of bites, the JFC Waffle was delicious; the chicken was very crispy and paired very well with the playful and chewy mochi waffle. Unfortunately, the entire dish was smothered with the JFC sauce and maple syrup. This resulted in every bite containing an overpowering sweet & salty sauce which ultimately really took away from both elements in the Japanese fried chicken and the mochi waffle. I believe this could easily be remedied by having the maple syrup come on the side and the chicken being slathered in slightly less sauce. I can see the potential of this dish where the lightness of the mochi waffle provides some much needed relief from the potent sauce and heavy fried chicken. But as is, I would not order it again. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and covered in a complimentary sauce and green onions that resulted in a very cohesive bite. I do think my enjoyment of the pork chop was unfortunately a bit tainted by the JFC Waffle, but it still was very good. Finally, we got the Ube French Toast for dessert, a dish that The Pepper Club is "Instagram famous" for. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in this dish. The actual french toast to ube cream ratio was pretty off in my opinion; I am well aware that the ube cream is the "star of the show" here, but with such a light ube flavor it didn't shine despite demanding the spotlight and drowning out the french toast itself. I left with the impression that the Ube French Toast was very "Instagramable" but did not deliver at all when put to the test taste. Despite a couple of misses, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to The Pepper Club and think it is well worth the visit.

The food 10/10, atmosphere is such a vibe 10/10, and the service is amazing!!! Thank you TY for your recommendations and service! 10/10. The ube french toast def meets the hype! We split that as an appetizer and my hubby ordered the salmon benedict and I ordered the pepper burger....it was so big my hubby ended up helping with it too lol This is a great little spot off the strip would def come back next time we are in Vegas!

This was only stop for brunch during a recent Vegas trip so that I can try their ube toast. It looked amazing online. Drove over here before a stop to the outlets. Its at a secluded hotel off the strip called the English Hotel which has a very classy vibe to it. The English is a small hotel with limited amenities but its has a charm to it and is away from the crowds. Although small, it doesn't appear cheap and based on room prices its not. You walk through the lobby, doorman and front desk were there to greet me and were nice. I walked by the pool to take pictures then went into the pepper club. I decided not to dine in and do take out so i can enjoy the toast quickly and be on my way. I was offered water at the bar while I wait for my order, which took about 15 minutes. They have lots of outdoor seating but the heat kept everyone inside. There is a nice bar inside and the ambiance was somewhat dimmed even during the day. Towards the side you can do takeout or order some coffee on the go. I wasn't aware that there was a 5% yelp check in so I didn't use it. My order came out to about $25 rounded up. The ube toast comes with 2 pieces, perfect for sharing. I sat outside in the shade to enjoy the ube toast. The cream had the ube flavor I was looking for and it wasn't grainy, overly sweet, nor artificial tasting. The toast itself was yummy and it came with maple syrup and ube drizzle on the side. If I can change something I would add more fruit on top but other than that it was pretty decent. If I was in the area I would stop by again to try their other brunch items.

Arrived on Sunday for 10:30am brunch it was a good time not so busy. By the time we left at 12:20pm it was packed. We had the ube French toast which was very good not too sweet. The matcha latte just perfect. The service is spotty not very attentive unless you waved at them to get their attention.
When you pull up you would never know there is a restaurant
When you pull up you would never know there is a restaurant there. It is tucked away behind beautiful art decorated walls. There seemed to have been plenty of street parking available. The restaurant had a very art deco feel to it, and felt like a very local scene instead of a tourist spot. We were immediately seated and our waitress was there to welcome is and get out drink orders. We order the Truffle Fries and the Taco Belle as meal starters. The truffle fries were perfect. Truffle throughout the fries not just sitting on top. Taco Belle was a explosion of flavors and textures. You had sweet and spicy, Crispy and soft. They knocked this one out! The JFC Waffle was to die for. Perfect amount of spice vs sweetness. However some spots see to be overly sauced causing it to taste very very salty. The Sticky Chicken was good. It felt more like a a teriyaki sauce. Menu stated chicken breast so when it came out with the leg bone attached I was surprised. The carrots, and broccolini were cooked to perfection and the mini mushrooms were adorable.

Came here after seeing the Ube French Toast on Tik Tok and I gotta say that was the best thing we ordered on the menu. You can actually taste the ube flavor and it wasn't too sweet. Definitely a must try item if you come here! I would also recommend the oysters if you enjoy raw oysters. The other items we ordered were just okay. As for drinks, my friends and I liked the ube bae a lot more than the lychee cocktail. Vibes were good and service was quick. I would come back just for the ube French toast lol.
I really wanted to like this place.
The great reviews lead me to make a reservation for Father's Day for my husband and family. The reservation was made over a week in advance. When we arrived, the hostess informed us they did not have a table ready and it would be a 30 minute wait unless we wanted to sit at the sushi counter or outside (100+ degree weather). We were frustrated and disappointed to say the least. Being a holiday, it was not an option to go anywhere else so we waited approximately 35 minutes to be seated. Once seated and we ordered, about 15-20 minutes after being seated, it was another 30 minutes until the food was brought out, and then only half the entrees arrived, leaving everyone to sit and wait until the rest of the dishes were delivered about 10 minutes later. With three small hungry kids, we were able to eat over an hour after we arrived and after our original reservation time. In that time period, a party of 20 sitting next to us had been seated and had their food before we did. The food was just average, with the French toast being dry and the basic bacon and egg breakfast costing over $20. There were no apologies for the oversight of the reservation, no effort to make amends or even any urgency getting us seated and our food in a timely manner. AND they added a 20% gratuity to the bill without letting you know up front. All in all, we were there for two hours just for breakfast. The atmosphere was nice with beautiful decor and a good vibe. But the food and the service leave a lot to be desired. With everything Las Vegas has to offer, we will not be revisiting this establishment.

Drinks: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Food: 4/5 I absolutely loved the environment, decor, drinks and ambience. The food overall was good. However, I wished they had more options! Would come back for their brunch to try it out! Try the ube cocktail, potatoes, and octopus!
Was expecting so much more from this place.
It's quiet and off the strip in Downtown Vegas. The restaurant is beautiful and located in a hotel. Our waitress seemed very nice, but she got our order wrong - we ordered the JFC & matcha waffle and the ube stuffed french toast with 2 sides of egg whites with 2 cappuccinos. The JFC & waffle were drowning in gochujang/maple sauce, which was incredibly overpowering so I could not taste the matcha flavor - would have preferred if the sauce was on the side so I could use it at my discretion. The ube stuffed french toast was delicious and not sweet at all, definitely would be too much for one person to finish though. The sides of egg whites came as 2 full-size English breakfast plates instead, complete with potatoes, toasted bread, and full servings of eggs. We clearly stated sides of egg whites when we ordered but there was a clear misunderstanding on the waitress' end. She was very confused about eggs being a side until we pointed it out to her on the menu. Also, the cappuccinos are extremely small here - about the size of a macchiato with a very bitter, grainy taste. Presentation 10/10, but service and overall experience 4/10.
Get the salmon crudo.
The only bad thing about it is you'll want 9 more and won't be able to pay your mortgage. This place is beautiful inside, and a perfect place for Sunday brunch

I had the pleasure of dining here on an early morning week day in June. I already had breakfast before coming here, but wanted to check this place out since I live out of state. Ube French toast as well as the yuzu panda cotta were delicious. Major shout out to our amazing server Yoshi! Stellar top notch service and honestly, our dining experience with his service will always be one of the best memories of our Vegas getaway trip. Thank you, Yoshi!!

I can't thank Harry & Ebony enough they really made our experience 5 stars. My bestie and I had drinks and food. She had the famous French toast & I had sushi. They were really good! Totally opposite things to order. :)

Wowwww this place has basically convinced me that I need to move to Vegas! First off you 100% should make a reservation. Do not assume you can just walk in and be seated I made my reservation online about a week ago. The day of our reservation, there was a massive accident on the freeway. Our Navi said we'd be 15 min late. I called the restaurant to let them know and Ariel (or April) let me know that it wasn't a problem. The traffic got worse and worse and now it said we'd be 45 min late! I was so sad. I called to ask if we could move our reservation and she said no problem. Parking was super easy Kimchi Brussel sprouts are to die for. This is my first time having them this way and I couldn't stop eating them! Just a little kick, not actually Spicy. I usually just "like" Brussel sprouts, but I LOVED these. Idc sandwich was delicious and perfectly balanced. Their truffle fries may be the top 3 truffle fries I've had in my life. The truffle flavor is IN THE POTATO, not on top! Ube French toast was really good. I feel like the bread was a little firm/stale. The ube cream is light, not too sweet, firm but fluffy. It kept well as left overs We got the ube cocktails and that was great as well. Overall an amazing place that I can't wait to return to!!!!
