A must visit!
Been here countless times staff and food always lovely , the whole vibe of the place is fab, could not find a fault, even if there have been issues they are fixed straight away, once I had a cold coffee fresh one was made was no inconvenience to them, happy to spend my money here, definitely recommend if in soho area for breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks

Had an amazing dinner at Ivy Soho. Great vibe in a very busy venue, dj was spot on, seemed very well managed restaurant. Massive thank you to Manager Vilma for an outstanding service and making our dinner experience very special.

I wonโt be heading to the Ivy chain in a hurry, I think we maybe picked a bad day where service wasnโt great. Greeted by an unhappy receptionist. Waited 3.50 to 4.20 for drinks, starter plates and dips were taken away (when my friend was still eating) but left the starter (really odd) my main was delicious. Due to such slow service we left without dessert. Oh and to top it off the Head waiter dropped the entire cutlery draw on his foot (he was ok bless him) but then put all the cutlery back in. As Iโve said maybe we picked a bad day.

Visited a couple of days ago and honestly the place was amazing, the chicken milanese was absolutely bang on. Food came nice and hot. The staffs were very friendly and made us feel welcomed especially our server Sirdi. He made sure we were looked after and he definitely made our experience special. Highly recommend.

Be the first to ReplySuper Romantic Birthday Lunch
I took my partner for a birthday treat, and the staff made a big effort to make it special. The service was first class as was the food. Great atmosphere and vibe on a busy Saturday. A special thanks goes to Sirdi for setting up an exceptional day.
Be the first to ReplyLovely spot for dinner and drinks
We had a lovely dinner for two at the Ivy Soho. The cocktails are great, the menu is really varied with lots of options and the food is delicious. I loved the dรฉcor, and the service was of a really high standard, thanks to Sirdi and the team who were excellent!

Be the first to ReplyGreat birthday dinner
Came for a birthday dinner where we were very well looked after by Mohammed. Enjoyed a fantastic asparagus starter, steak and crรจme brรปlรฉe and a round of happy birthday. Negronis very tasty too! Thanks.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food and great service.
Mohammed was a superstar. His attention and care made the birthday celebrations for our son a really special event. Our first visit to The Soho Ivy and it will not be our last. Great service and great food.

Mohammed was a fabulous waiter. He was so attentive and helped with everything we needed. We had a lovely meal and beautiful drinks so thank you very much Mohammed!!
Be the first to Replygreat service, nice dinner, nice decor
Great evening. Good vegan options available and the tossed salad and Malaysian curry I had were both fab. Our server Mohammed was fantastic (give him a raise!!)
Be the first to ReplyIvy Restaurant - Fantastic food and service.
Mohammed was a fantastic waiter for our table. He has a really great sense of humour and was very attentive. The Ivy itself has lovely food and is really quirky inside.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was OK but good location and pretty interior
The food was nothing special, quite blant, not much taste. We took a vegetarian English breakfast, avocado toast with poached eggs and a coconut yogurt. The service was fast and pleasant, the interior is very beautiful. Healthy options but quite overpriced.

Great afternoon/early evening, lovely meal. Table service provided by Mohammed, attentive and attention detail was very professional and made the whole experience a very enjoyable faultless one. Would definitely revisit again!
Be the first to ReplyDisturbed Dinner
We booked for dinner after the theatre at 10.30โand we arrived on time. Our table was not ready and we had to wait 10 minutes. We ordered, drinks and starters which arrived promptly but then they brought the mains whilst we were halfway through the first course so we sent them back. The senior waiter seemed displeased that we did not hurry to finish. Half way through our main course we were told that they were taking last orders for drinks and as we finished we were told that the restaurant was closing in 8 minutes so there was no time for desserts or coffee. I have never previously been hassled to finish my first course nor told to leave as the restaurant was closing. There were no apologies or explanation given. Very disappointing from a newer member of the ivy Group and an explanation from management would be appreciated.

Dinner here was delicious. Our waiter, Berdan was fantastic. He helped us navigate the menu and gave us great recommendations. Definitely ask for him if you come. We canโt wait to come back!!
Be the first to ReplyLovely breakfast, but watch out for the teapots!
The breakfast here was really lovely with good-quality, tasty ingredients- particularly the sausages and bacon. The only frustration was that the accompanying toast was cold, stale and overcooked The cocktails we had were excellent- really delicious and well-made; there is a great choice of drinks here. We also had breakfast tea with our breakfast, which came in little metal teapots, which burned your hand when you touched them...This needs to be looked at. The service was friendly and professional, although there were a couple of moments where it felt a little slow. Interestingly, there seemed to be multiple staff in the restaurant doing very little at some points during our visit. We would return to The Ivy Soho (we really love the Cheltenham and Birmingham branches anyway), but would love to see 'safer' teapots next time!

Apart from the wonderful central bar, this restaurant is totally style over substance. The tables were so cramped anyone wishing to visit the loo in the corner where we were sat involved people at three tables having to move in a weird dance to allow someone to get out of their table. We were handed menus that were filthy, which is very strange in a post pandemic world, I dread to think the amount of germs on each one.
Pre dinner drinks: Hemingway G&T (not as advertised in the menu) and Peach Bellini (stem of the glass covered in a sticky goo all the way down); starters were squid (nice) and tempura prawns (greasy). Mains: Beef fillet (tasteless) and duck curry (as a vegetarian curry this was very nice, it was spoilt by the addition of two pieces of overcooked and tough duck). The wine didn't arrive at all, the waiter didn't return after delivering the main course so we could chase the wine. We weren't offered any further drinks, dessert or coffee, despite patiently sitting for well over half an hour after a waitress not allocated to our table cleared the plates. When my husband asked if we could have a dessert, our not-waitress turned and walked away when my husband was mid sentence.
The waiter had asked if my husband wanted a sauce with his beef fillet, which we queried as the menu said the dish came with truffle sauce. The waiter said no it didn't so my husband ordered a bernaise sauce @ ยฃ2.95, only to find the dish came with a dish of truffle sauce the same size as the bernaise.
The empty pre dinner drinks glasses stayed on the cramped table for the duration of the meal, the water wasn't refilled so we had no drinks at all for most of the visit.
After delivering our main course the only time we saw our own waiter again was when my husband refused to pay for the bernaise sauce he didn't require, or the DISCRETIONARY service charge for non existent service.
The waiter then suddenly appeared to remonstrate that we should pay for both but my husband stuck to his guns.
The central bar looked amazing and produced a lot of gorgeous looking cocktails that we clearly weren't worthy of tasting. I am sure the profit on alcohol is considerable so I do not understand why more drinks weren't offered, and the wine was forgotten.
Had service been, well, existent, we would have chased the wine, ordered more drinks, pudding, dessert wine, coffee and maybe a liqueur to finish, so the profit would have been much higher, as would the service charge.
Whilst we may not be social distancing any longer, being so cramped with other diners wasn't pleasant, the food was - at best - average (the side order of spinach was stone cold and sat in a puddle of cold water, no butter just water). The best tasting item was the chips. We paid ยฃ100 for a meal that was not pleasant and as "an experience", no it wasn't, we were made to feel that we were an inconvenience to our waiter's evening.
And when my husband refused to pay the discretionary service charge the waiter said "it's Saturday night". Yes it was Saturday night, sunshine, and there are a lot of Saturday nights and a lot of Soho restaurants. Go to any other, go to the wonderful Bob Bob Ricard or go to McDonalds, just don't line the pockets of The Ivy group of restaurants, it's all about volume of customers, nothing else. This restaurant isn't worthy of the name.
Really love this Ivy
Come to this Ivy for the video, great veggie options and great DJs on weekend evenings. Brunch and cocktails are great too!
Be the first to ReplyGood Service, Helpful With Allergies
I came here for an early evening dinner and was met with a beautiful interior and atmosphere lighting. Music was playing and it was a very nice environment. There was a portrait of a topless women at the entrance, but that can be looked past as it does fit in with the Art Deco theme of the restaurant. Someone in my party had allergies and the staff were very careful to check everything and to make sure all was well. The food was very enjoyable and tasted good. Would definitely come back.
Be the first to ReplyIvy with something extra, fabulous
This Ivy Soho has the best vibe of them all! Really upbeat, amazing food and cocktails, with fabulous staff like Janisha who was first class in every way and made our special lunch one to remember, nothing was too much trouble. A restaurant that sparkled!
Be the first to ReplyFood is great just the receptionist is unwelcoming or maybe untrained
Firstly food was fine, serving staff was very friendly & helpful. Though the receptionist was just so rude, I had visited on 26/03/2022, for breakfast without reservation she said sorry we are completely booked we went out tried to book online and all slots were available, and when we booked online and entered she showed so unwelcoming expressions was very upset.
Be the first to ReplyNice breakfast but didn't appreciate the water charge
We were staying in the hub over the road so thought we would treat ourselves to breakfast. The venue is very clean and well presented with lots of courteous and smartly dressed staff. We were taken to our table and asked if we eould lile to order a drink so ordered 2 coffees and was also offered a bottle of water. We then ordered am eggs benedict and an eggs Royale, the coffee was really nice and we enjoyed the food but on paying noticed the bottle if water was ยฃ4.50. Maybe its just a northern thing but didn't expect to pay for water, and certainly not nearly a fiver for 750ml of the stuff. Can't fault the food , drink or service but water price seemed excessive and wasn't even given the option of just plain tap water.
