That's What I Like! Restaurant & Lounge Bellingham Reviews from The Last Year
The drinks are pretty basic, service was great.
The food options were all interesting. The tuna Mac was amazing and loco moco was okay. I would recommend the lumpia!

I tried this because I had a gift certificate from Kafe radio station. I'm so glad I did! The food was really delicious! I had Pork Adobo which had 2 of the Spring Rolls and a side of the noodles, along with a Berry Iced Tea. One of the best meals I've had in Bham--and the service was great, too! Very reasonable pricing on their menu. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great service, awesome food, absolutely killer ambiance (some of the most lively karaoke I've ever seen).

My kids ordered Loco Mocos and both of their patties were burnt and not edible. Which is a bummer. We also had to wait 45 min to get our food, which we didn't mind, but the food was not very good. Rice was also undercooked and quantities are not worth the price. Will not be going back.

My Filipino mum and me came in on a Monday afternoon at around 2.30pm. Service was prompt and friendly, and the food was terrific. We had the lumpia sampler, the chicken adobo, and pancit. No complaints. The food was tasty and you could tell fresh and marinated well. The flavours were terrific. I look forward to coming back whenever I'm in Bellingham next. Highly recommended for all. In fact, we were the only Filipinos we saw in the place the whole time we were there. And of the handful of customers, they all seemed to enjoy their meals.
That's what I like is a hidden gem in Bellingham serving
That's what I like is a hidden gem in Bellingham serving Filipino staples that taste great. The interior is cozy, and has been decorated to really give a tropical island vibe. I would recommend the Shanghai lumpia and Lechon Kawali. Food I ordered the Lechon Kawali combo with pancit and 1 Shanghai lumpia and 1 beef lumpia. First, the Shanghai lumpia is hands down best lumpia to get here and so I would highly recommend that. The crispy pork belly (Lechon Kawali) was overall pretty good. The only thing I did not like was that the outside was maybe a little too crispy and dry. However the dipping sauces and the succulent pork belly fat of it balanced it out. The pancit was just okay for me but my friend really enjoyed it. The Mac salad was not what I was expecting (like Hawaiian style Mac salad) and did not like it here. Atmosphere The interior is decorated with an island and tropical feel and gives very casual and laid back vibes. It was nice and has nice places to take pictures too. There is an outdoor area that would be perfect for when the weather gets warmer. Noise level was average for a Friday dinner. Pricing Prices are reasonable and average compared to other Asian foods. I think the prices are great for the quality of the Filipino food out in an area like Bellingham. Service The staff was nice and helpful in answering questions we had about the menu. Food came out fast. Other Plenty of parking in the lot right by the restaurant.

Ok, I understand that poor service could be put in the "server was just having a bad day" category so I won't talk about waiting an hour for our food or getting the wrong items. It happens. I also know that most traditional foods can vary in taste/ingredients from one family to the next. I have had filipino food from quite a few different places and it's always been different, but good. Not here. I had the combo plate. Grilled chicken, pancit and lumpia. Chicken was good, everything else was not. The lumpia, fried egg roll type, were saturated and dripping with grease. For a couple of hours after we left, my wife and I had a horrible taste in our mouth. It was bad. The food even upset my wife's stomach for the rest of the evening. If you want good Filipino food your better bet, in this area, is going to be Bry's. The ambience was OK, but, I cannot recommend this restaurant for anything other than maybe the bar, the drinks were ok.

Took my best friend here for a Bellingham bday weekend cuz we're both Flip and we both enjoyed the food, esp the lumpia and pancit, yummmm! It's on my list to come back whenever I visit Bellingham And for the other flips who are curious, I'm Cebuana/Boholana and she's Bicolana. Not sure where the owners are from but the way they made the food seems similar to what I grew up with

We didn't know what to expect walking in but were happily surprised! We were greeted by the hostess who was incredibly friendly. The music was a bit loud inside but we were getting our food to go so it didn't bother us at all. Our family ordered lechon, chicken and pork adobo and chicken, pork and beef lumpia. The lechon was all of our favorite! Even after being in a container for 20 minutes while we drove home it was still crunchy. The pancit was perfect! The lumpia was not our favorite but I make my family recipe so we are biased. Overall the price was a bit high but the food was very good and worth it. We will definitely be back.

Having not been back home to Hawaii for a while, it was refreshing to hear that there was a Filipino restaurant right here in my neck of the woods. Finally got to try it out and I was not disappointed. I ordered the Pork Adobo with Pancit and the beef lumpia. The presentation and portion were amazing and everything tasted fantastic! I'm excited to go back try more on their menu, such as their Loco Moco and halo halo. As a local from Hawaii, I would definitely recommend That's What I Like.

Ask a Question |
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue? |
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
