Sushi On Me Queens Reviews from The Last Year
The most fun and engaging Omakase you'll ever experience.
Talk about fun, raunchy and in your face . One hour experience without having to worry about behavior, matter of fact, the staff wants you to be loud and let loose. I've been to many Omakse around the $100 range but nowhere is this much fun. If you haven't experienced Sushi On Me then shame on you. I applaud the staff there for coming up with a party Omakase concept and I can't wait to be back. In closing, forget your mild mannered Omakase and just let it loose here or at their Brooklyn location.
This is an overdue review.
I was so happy with this place, it was better than I expected. I got treated here on my birthday. The place is super hidden, it's on a busy block, but in the basement with no signs. Even their door was entirely black, so you had no idea what you were walking into. (+) very cool neon lights and interior (+) good music, felt like I was in a club vs a sushi spot (+) free unlimited sake was nice (+) all the omakase pieces were fresh, unique, and meshed together perfectly like a piece of art (-) parking was horrible, try to take the train! Definitely going back!
This place deserve everything! The best experience ever!
This place deserve everything! The best experience ever! Honestly the best restaurant I ever been to. The service was impeccable, the workers are so fun and made the night so memorable. The food was pretty good they added their own little touch to it and with unlimited sake who wouldn't be happy. Will def be coming back :))
There's a reason this place has nearly 5 stars.
I truly felt like I was hanging out and partying with a bunch of my friends - the staff here do hospitality well! It's a 15 course omakase and each thing is uniquely flavorful. One of my favorites was the salmon belly - it melts in your mouth. I also really loved that some of the courses included a little interactive element to it. Another plus is they give unlimited sake with your meal and they are not stingey with refilling your cup! The staff were all amazing and made sure everyone had everything they needed. They curated the playlist too and even brought out a mic for some mini karaoke! If you loudly sing along to any of the songs, I'm pretty sure they'll bring it out and hand it to you! When we got seated, I was a little nervous about the spacing of the seats (you're basically sitting at a bar side-by-side with everyone) but it turned out okay and probably lent to a cozier feel. There are also hooks on the side where you can hang coats in the winter. Probably the most fun I'll have at any omakase and I will 100% come back
I think I want all celebratory meals to be at Sushi on Me
I think I want all celebratory meals to be at Sushi on Me from now on. I loved my experience here so much. I'm here to join the 5-star brigade and to keep up Sushi On Me's much-deserved 5 star rating on Yelp after nearly 300 reviews. I'd come hungry and prepare to be wowed (and a little sauced). By the end of the omakase, everyone was singing to Britney Spears. It's that kind of place. Gene L. put it well when he said that this experience is "just as much immersive theater as a restaurant meal." The guys behind the counter start the party and keep it going with their banter, excellent pop music, opportunities for karaoke, and celebratory energy. I thought the sushi here was beautifully prepared. I enjoyed every course. There was a gorgeous panang curry dish and uni on bread, the memories of which I will take with me wherever I go. There's unlimited sake here as well which is topped off frequently. Cost per diner is $100 in cash, tip excluded. Come here anytime if you just want to celebrate. You deserve it.
BEST dining experience I've had in a long time! This was
BEST dining experience I've had in a long time! This was my first omakase and it's gonna be very hard to top. Speakeasy vibes, amazing service, FUN, FUN, FUN! The staff does a great job keeping you entertained from start to finish. The head chef Palm is so nice and personable, and his menu creations taste as good as they look. My favorites were the Scallop sushi with truffle and wasabi & the Salmon belly which warm and spicy They have great theatrics such as Weed smoke & Rosemary bubbles that they immerse onto the dishes. Music is blasting all night and unlimited saki is flowing. Cash only, a little pricey but worth it. Reservations a must
Quite literally one of the greatest dining experiences I
Quite literally one of the greatest dining experiences I have ever had in my entire life. The food was beyond delicious and prepared with care. The presentation was so flamboyant that it would put most shows and plays to shame. The space was cozy & intimate. The chefs and staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. Unlimited sake. Truly a one of a kind, memory making experience that can't be missed and is definitely worth the price.
Easily 5 stars!! Booked a private room for friends bday
Easily 5 stars!! Booked a private room for friends bday and had the whole restaurant to ourselves with live music. Each omakase piece was unique and tasted very fresh! Unlimited sake and very friendly staff. Must book well in advanced - hard to get Resy, esp the whole the place as it only seats like 12 total. Was around $100 per person plus tax and tips.
This was one of the best dinners I've had in a very long
This was one of the best dinners I've had in a very long time...maybe ever? We came with a large group and took up almost the entire restaurant. It was basically a private dining experience + the poor couple sitting next to us lol The staff here is sooo fun and genuinely love what they do. They MADE the experience for us. I thought that the place might be gimmicky but the sushi was surprisingly high quality.
One word.
... AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband and I went to celebrate his birthday. It exceeded our expectations!!! We were a total of 10 people in our evening and they all made us feel comfortable. In between our meal, we began to sing karaoke. BEST TIME EVER! let me say, I don't know how to sing but after 10 sake shots I took the mic into my hands. BTW the sake is free!!!!! Highly recommend. Everyone is nice and friendly!!! You will have a blast. It is cash only. As of 01/07/2023 we paid 98 per person plus tax which was about 216 for two. Plus we gave a generous tip because the servers were unforgettable!!!! Trust me, you want to try this place out!!!!!! Not only is the seafood fresh and delicious, the place is amazing!!!!
Wow what a fun, delicious, and totally cool, updated
Wow what a fun, delicious, and totally cool, updated omakase experience. This 12 chair sushi restaurant is located down an unassuming staircase and has major speakeasy vibes. The atmosphere is fun, music pumping, unlimited sake, and impeccable service by chefs and a host that know how to have fun. I came here for my husband's 40th birthday and our first date night after having a baby. It didn't disappoint. The 18 course omakase sushi was not only delicious, it was fun, and beautifully plated. My husband and I enjoyed each course and the unlimited saki. We will for sure be back. Club sushi vibes!!

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.

Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it? |
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid? |
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted. |
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from? |
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
Newbie sellers— how fast do your reservations sell?
I have some reservations coming up tomorrow that have gotten lots of views but haven’t sold yet. I haven’t made a sale yet since I just joined this week. I keep lowering the price, but am worried they won’t sell. How long did it take you to sell your first reservations? And did you have success being reimbursed by AT for no-show or cancellation fees? Just looking for a little reassurance. Thanks!

How to list a Nobu Malibu reservation
Hi, I have a reservation to Nobu Malibu, but since they don't do text or e-mail confirmations I haven't been able to get my reservation posted. I have posted a screen shot of the phone conversation on the listing, but it keeps getting rejected. If anyone has an idea how I can get it approved that would be much appreciated, thanks!

Give the best answerConcierge change fulfillment time
I posted a request for a reservation this Thursday between 6:30 and 8 pm and initially the potential seller said it would be fulfilled by today. Now they changed it that they will only fulfill it by 5pm that same day. Basically I would have an hour and a half to get to the restaurant. Is this allowed?

Give the best answerApp
This app is a catfish and overrun by people programming “bots” and algorithms. It makes it frustrating for someone not well versed in this to have any movement. I thought this would be a fun side hustle, but unfortunately it’s become like any other “side hustle”. Don’t waste your time with this crap. Not a question, just a suggestion. Also don’t pay these fake “gurus” hundreds of dollars to teach you. Might as well sign up for a software class. 😕
