Stella Ristorante Vineria e Locanda Perugia Reviews from The Last Year
The location is not enough!
Location and furnishings are not enough to make a good restaurant. And not even the food. You also need good service and friendliness. And these, unfortunately, are missing. Nice place and above all No music! Some good dishes (not all) but a lot of coldness and detachment. Human heat: zero. Attentive but anxious service. Yet you could: too bad!!!
A place to return to
You came here by chance because the hotel restaurant was on closing day and according to Google it was the closest. A nice discovery, excellent menu of local dishes with excellent ingredients even delicious wild asparagus and an excellent cellar Definitely worth going back
Don't go there.
Cheesy. Like eating at a company canteen. Despite the Michelin recommendation (!!!), the raw materials and the cuisine are at a truly low level. Strongly not recommended.
Excellent
Each dish is prepared with great care and above all with the highest quality raw materials, the homemade bread, superb, a very well-stocked cellar... what more could you wish for for a quiet evening with friends. 😉
An inn from times gone by: hospitality and courtesy are their mantra
An inn in the true sense of the word: courtesy, aesthetic taste and absolute quality food. I should go on about how good it is in this place... I absolutely recommend it... gr®️
Excellent
I had the opportunity to try the restaurant. The restaurant is part of a rural house in Perugia, very welcoming, elegant but not formal. The starters are excellent, of all the celery parmigiana is unexpected. We then tried pasta with abundant white truffles, truly unforgettable. The desserts are good, and the wine list is extensive. Sommelier and high level service. Very acceptable prices.
Superlative!!!
We had dinner with Daniela in this wonderful setting!!! Locally sourced food of superlative quality, wide choice of local and non-local wines... all fantastic... well done!!! Mrs. Silvia then makes every guest feel as if they were at home: I recommend that Silvia never gives up on giving her guests her friendliness!!! THANK YOU!!! If we have the opportunity to revisit Perugia, we will return as your guests!
A real delight
I went to this restaurant to celebrate my anniversary with my wife. Delicious appetizers, the first courses (gnocchi and stringhetti) simply delicious. Finally we ordered a half portion of pigeon which melted in the mouth. The wine recommended by the maitre d' was spot on with what we ate. We will definitely return
Too sophisticated for what is offered
The quality of the raw materials is certainly high quality and refined... however, we cannot explain the 48 euros each for a (very poor) shared starter, two veal with tuna sauce and a dessert with bottled wine (from 27 euros). We left with a good impression but very burned by the price.
Sitting outside on a nice evening
We had read about Stella. It sounded good. It sounded authentic, run as a family. We took a taxi there as it is outside Perugia. We sat outside. It was a warm evening. Perugia (and much of Italy) was experiencing high temperatures. We ordered a few dishes, all good. I ordered steak, cut into slices. It beat me. It was too large. But it was very enjoyable. Then, about 2 hours later, a taxi back to our hotel on our last night in Perugia.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Can come from a lot of places, people who don't want to get charged their cancellation fee or people who just have them and cant go.

almost all restaurants aren't affiliated with AT and I'm guessing it's mostly people wanting to not pay cancellation fees.
