Good for groups
Plenty of free parking spots in the back of the restaurant. The inside is loud and the round table we had sat at was very spacious. I always order my favorite dish which is Chicken Pad Thai spicy level and vegetable fried rice spicy too. I tried my friend's Pork Belly dish and it was pretty good. The Pad Thai was very good and the portions were a good size and there was plenty of food to share.

Great late lunch. We had Laarb and Penang chicken curry. Both were excellent. Worth stopping by if you are craving Thai.

This place has amazing food, fusing both modern techniques with traditional flavors to bring a wonderful brightness to their dishes. You may be asking, "why the one-star review then?" Well unfortunately the quality of the food hardly matters when you have the appalling service that you can come to expect here. When dining in, it is an unorganized mess of a myriad of servers, each unsure of what food you have ordered or if your food is even coming. Ordering online is an even worse debacle if that can be believed! You may be greeted by one of many hosts who are incapable of communicating the problem to you clearly. When you do finally wring an answer from a manager, they will inform you that they placed their orders on hold. Despite successfully placing an order for pickup two hours ahead of time, I was told "Take it up with DoorDash" before being told to "F*** off". Such a shame.

Glad they still serve fried catfish- really good. Tried their papaya salad for the first time and it was good as well. I think people come here year after year and happy with how their favorites taste the same, good service and clean place.

Our party of seven ordered so many different tasty treats and NONE of them failed to please. I would skip the crab appetizer and opt instead for the gold pouch of potatoes and sate (moist and tender, not overcooked as at so many places). My husband ordered Tom Yum, and, while I thought I could not face hot soup in the heat, it was the perfect blend of spices. We shared food items like the red curry, yellow curry, catfish filet, a kinda of porkbelcy dish, but my fave, as always, was the eggplant. Best by far I have ever eaten, seasoned with basil. Our friends wanted the pineapple fried rice, but we opted for regular. So, with all this food, the server brought out by far the best to-go containers I have ever seen so we could scoop up some left overs. Five of us had lunch from them the next day, and that night, our hostess made a medley of everything left (lots of rice), along with her own grilled salmon and salad. Yum, yum. Service was brisk. The waiter, who told us of his struggle to learn English, was cordial. Outdoor dining was lovely and felt off the street due to the design of the patio. And they have a wine list. Definitely recommend.

We traveled 1.5 hours to this restaurant and we did not mind it because food is really good, the service is cordial and speedy. We went there for lunch with family. We order the fried calamari for starters and they were to die for. Then we ordered other dishes and ended up taking a lot home. They have enough space amongst tables to make you feel comfortable with social distancing. Worth the trip? Absolutely!

Hands down probably the best Tom kha soup I have ever eaten, anywhere. Just the right amount of coconut milk just the right amount of salt just the right amount of Tang and just the right amount of chili oil. There are other items are so much every other Thai restaurant out there and are subject why they didn't Personal Taste. There's actually two of the side by side. I like the northern one

Formerly known as Song, Saladang Garden appears to be the same restaurant, with mostly the same menu, but just a different name.
The "standard" Thai menu options such as Pad Thai, Rad Na, Tom Kah and others are on the menu and then there are more innovative dishes such as soy-ginger sea bass, salmon with Panang curry and Thai corn fritter, among others.
The service was friendly and the food was good, albeit more expensive than some of the competition with less creative menus. The staff is very kid friendly and will provide crayons upon request.
Reasonable price lunch set
We ordered a chicken curry lunch set which came with a salad and an egg roll I personally did not like. The chicken was not tender, maybe the breast meat was too lean. The curry was not as tasty as other Thai restaurants. The Pad Won Sin (fried glass noodle) was better. It was a big dish for this price.

I was a regular here for years but havenโt been here for ages. The food is still good, standard Thai food. We came about 330, it wasnโt busy so the service was great. Iโve been for dinner before and the service can be a little slow.
It is a good place to eat, the food comes out fast.
not this time
Went here for a family dinner with my sister who was in town visiting. Service this time was very bad because they had a big group celebrating a birthday and it looked like they were understaffed. They did much better the other times that I went
Be the first to ReplyContemporary decor with fake Thai dishes
1* for the airy stylish deco. However, thatโs the only thing nice we can say about this place. Services are non existent, servers know nothing about their own menu, everything we asked about the menu we got โ I donโt know, not sure, maybe yes maybe noโ answers.
food taste like microwave TV dinner, even staple dish like PAI tai tastes so awful we couldnโt finish half of it. No wonder during busy lunch hour this restaurant sits half empty and with 90% non-asian clientele.
