We all loved the vibe here right when we arrived.
Love all the plants and nature while dining inside. The food was phenomenal. Lots of amazing vegan options. The vegan ceviche was something I've never tasted before it was like an orgaasm in my mouth. The flavors were impeccable. The vegan paella and the pan andino is something you all just try! We will be back again soon, thank you for your hospitality.

came here on date night with my boyfriend, Hunter was our server and he was awesome, super attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu . we had the passion fruit drinks, civiche, lomo saltados and beef hearts, all were 10/10. ambience is cute and they play traditional latino music which was great but the standout for us was how great the service was. definitely a gem in weho!

I came here for my friends birthday and the food was really good! We ordered the vegetarian paella and it was huge. It was very tasty! It was very dark in the restaurant and the restaurant is beautiful indoors.
Be the first to ReplyTotal heart eyes for Rosaline in West Hollywood.
This indoor/outdoor peruvian spot is guaranteed to blow your socks off. With A-list celebrities visiting on the regular it's no secret that this is one of the hottest spots in town. We booked a reservation for 10 and shared a meal tapas style. Some of the memorable dishes include the aceitunas, causita crocante, causa jar, lomo saltado, arroz con mariscos, and the chaufa paella. If I were to do it all over again, I'd order a round two of the causa jar, lomo saltado, and the chaufa paella. The causa jar was such a unique menu item that left the entire table oo-ing and ah-ing. While the concept is pricey, Rosaline is more than a restaurant, it's an experience. Despite splitting the bill, we ended up paying around $120 per person for tapas and a cocktail. I'd highly recommend visiting for a special occasion, or bringing your foodie friends for an authentic peruvian meal they won't soon forget.

The food was as pretty as the clientele. thoughtful presentation but most of all amazing flavor. Each dish that arrived at the table was an adventure. Really well done and highly recommended!! Enjoy!!

** Valentine day menu REVIEW ** ($85 + gratuity) I want to highlight that I came to this restaurant for an event & not for their usual dinning experience. I highlight that because I was a bit disappointed with their Valentine's Day experience. However, I understand that having an event can cause food quality to lessen because of the quantity they have to provide for their guests The service was attentive & it seemed they had more staff members for this event My boyfriend set this up for us & it was beautiful, however, the food was not the greatest. Appetizer (not pictured) 4/10: it was two rolls of bread with strawberry jelly First dish 4/10: this was the pink mash potatoes with mushrooms and avocado. I am not sure if this dish was meant to be cold, but my dish was cold & eating mash potatoes cold was difficult Main dish 7/10: had great flavor, however, the sauce was a bit overwhelming for me Dessert 6/10: I got the cake with sherbet, and the cake was a bit dry Overall, it was a beautiful restaurant, and I absolutely love Peruvian food, however, this restaurant Valentine's Day menu dish did not present the restaurants food as gracefully as I had hoped. This is not to say that I won't pay a visit to this restaurant again, because I am curious to see what other things they have on the menu!
Be the first to ReplyFood was on point and super tasty.
We had the vegan paella which was unexpectedly a huge hit at the table because of its loads of flavor. The short ribs were incredibleeeeee. The grilled avocado was the most beautiful dish but least impressive. The reason I am giving 3 stars is simply for the rude server. By the looks of her face when asking a question about anything I felt silly for not knowing anything when it was my first visit. She made us feel incredibly rushed to leave and at one point literally just dropped the check at the table and walked away. I come to find there's an automatic 20% fee included. I also must note it was not busy at all when we were in. Must be nice to be able to treat customers with no care knowing you're getting a huge tip anyway...

My friend recommended grabbing a drink at the Rosaline since we were just across the street at a bar for my bday. So for my review, I can only speak for the bar experience. The interior was gorgeous, greenery draped from the glass ceiling. I can imagine it's nice during the day as well. The bartender was laid-back and friendly. The tequila shots were incredibly smooth. And the cocktails were tasty and decorative. Definitely recommend for a date night or special occasion.

Ambiance: Great date spot, romantic and intimate Food: Short ribs: excellent flavor on its own, but the fig sauce really made it 11/10! Arroz con pollo: well seasoned rice almost like a risotto with unique sauce. Chicken was DRY Service: acceptable but a little slow at times Please note: a 20% service fee is automatically applied whether your party is of 2 or more than that

Do not judge by my photos but this place makes great ceviche and might have one of the best dishes in LA with their short rib. Drinks are solid, menu os simple but they do what they do with flying colors! Come for some drinks, try the various ceviches, short rib is a must!

Loved our paella and food service 10 out of 10! Also, you've gotta try the Ceviche. A unique twist on a classic dish.
Be the first to ReplyToo expensive for what you get.
The food was tasty, but very little Peruvian flavor. The ceviche was extremely small. The Lomo saltado was a nice spin on the original. The paella was a bit too oily for my taste not enough seafood in it

Really great scallops, seared with a sweet nearly raw center. The accompanying salad and grapefruit were quite complimentary. The seafood paella was comforting, with juicy plump shrimp, although lacking a bold flavor and crispy rice on the bottom. The lomo saltado, while beautiful and a smooth tomato sauce, overcooked the steak.Service was polite and fast. The ambiance was cozy with great vegetation decor. Would like to try the ribs and eggplant.
Be the first to ReplyI absolutely loved this place.
I think this is one of my favorite restaurants I've been to for dinner in LA. The Peruvian cuisine here was so delicious, especially the seafood paella and the beef heart skewers (TRUST ME it was SO tender and flavorful)Rosaliné gave cool vibes for sure. There was groovy music, dark wood furniture, cool lights hanging from the ceiling. There were people dressed in streetwear but also people who dressed up nicer, so an overall dressier casual vibe.I recommend not buying drinks (they were all pretty meh) and using that money to try all the amazing, flavorful dishes they have on their menu. They have an entire family-style dishes section in their menu, so definitely visit with a group of friends! I would definitely come back!

I've been ordering Lomo Saltado and the Chaufa from Rosaline for years. We either dine in or have it delivered. Over the last year, we noticed the quality of the Lomo Saltado has greatly diminished. The most obvious criticism is the quantity of beef - there is now too much potato and very few chunks of beef. In addition, the beef is overdone and chewy. The sauce is still very good but overall the Lomo Saltado has become disappointing.

The ceviche, paella, and drinks are delicious. Maura and Javi were amazing as our server and bartender. Made for the perfect double date night!

Recently celebrated a birthday here and enjoyed the occasion very much. It is a lovely restaurant with many plants and nice lighting. The food was full of flavor and great combination of ingredients. They have a wide range of ceviches which we probably ordered all. We also had the Paella which was flavorful, a good Peruvian take. The drinks were ok. I don't like premixed alcohol. Like their rendition of a margarita was made with a tequila infused in-house. I like tasting the tequila. Service was friendly and efficient. We had to ask them to remove platters a few times and ask to bring new plates. A place like this usually does it automatically. I removed one star for these reasons. They are under construction so entrance is through the back alley. You will see valet stand. When I walked in there was no hostess stand so after I found a server I asked and they said check in is in front of the restaurant. One has to essentially walk through the restaurant to get to the hostess and of course nobody is there. It felt a little unorganized.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is located very close to the Beverly Center.
The atmosphere was lively, and I loved all the plants hanging above. The interior was semi-lit and gave off a intimate yet fun vibe. I do wish for a bigger table that could have fit all of our food better. We had a 5:45pm reservation on a Saturday night. There is paid parking in the back and also street parking. We ordered the following: 1. Pan andino $14It was quinoa bread that was nice and crunchy on the outside and warm inside. It came with 3 spreads and our favorite was the rocoto pepper butter. It was flavorful and savory. 2. Seafood chaufa paella $59This dish is why I go to any Peruvian restaurant including this one. It had giant fresh pieces of shrimp, scallops and calamari. This was one of the best ones I've ever had. The quality of the seafood was high, and the dish was cooked perfectly with the rice a bit crunchy on the sides of the pan. It's enough to share for 2 people.3. Lomo saltado $34This was delicious too. I'm Chinese American and this dish had soy sauce in it. So it tasted like a Chinese beef dish to me that I could easily order at a Chinese restaurant or make at home. My partner really liked it and it had beautiful presentation. All in all, a fun and lively restaurant with good food and good service.
Be the first to ReplyHad dinner with a very good friend on a Monday night.
We made our reservations through Google or OpenTable (?) and we were seated right away. It wasn't busy during the time we came in so I feel like anyone would've been accomodated right away even without a reservation. To start, we ordered Ginger and Strawberry Mocktails because it's too early for us to have alcohol on a Monday lol. The drinks were both pleasant and refreshing. I highly recommend both drinks to try!We had Hamachi Ceviche and Aceitunas for our appetizers. The portions for both orders were good for 2-3 people max. Our ceviche was super fresh and had the right kick of spicy to it, we totally loved it! Plus the butternut squash with the sauce.... TO DIE FOR. The Aceitunas was really, really good! I just wish there were more flatbread but really can't complain. The eggplant puree really complemented the olives and the nuts, super delicious! And for our main dishes, both the Camaronea and Chaufa Paella ARE AMAZING. The serving for the paella was very huge so we still had leftovers to take home. The giant prawns were cooked to perfection and it was very savory! Will definitely for sure come back to this place. We really enjoyed our experience dining in Rosaline. Also, our server was pretty nice and sweet! We forgot her name but I told her she looked like a model because of her cheekbones lol, such a cutie!

The place might get a little wild and loud but it's an amazing venue with outstanding food choices. The drinks don't disappoint either. I have visited this restaurant five times and every time has been an amazing experience.

Seafood paella delicious - as was the prime rib dish! We also had the the octopus app and the hamachi ceviche, the bread with multiple dips! Service was GREAT! Mara was a great waitress. One of my colleagues has a LOT of allergies and they were very accommodating and got her a meal that she could eat without and concern! Would definitely come back here! FYI more family style!
Be the first to ReplyRosaline is Peruvian perfection.
This restaurant is, and always will be, my forever favorite. Chef Ricardo Zarate has delivered authentic, stunning South American cuisine that I cannot get enough of. I highly recommend the lomo saltado dish, though you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. You're the love of my life, Rosaline!

***Michelin Bib Gourmand (2019)***Beautiful restaurant with excellent food! Rosaline is the complete package. Came here for my first time a few weeks ago and had a great experience. Peruvian cuisine is something that really excites me, and this figures to be one of the best options for it in all of Los Angeles. Along with Chifa and Cabra, this restaurant definitely belongs in the conversation of the city's best. Our order (mostly copied/pasted straight from the menu):tiradito de corvina ($18)wild caught sea bass, amazonian charapita chili, tamari yuzu walnut dressingaceitunas ($14)marinated spicy peruvian olives, eggplant puree, cancha corn, turmeric flat breadlomo saltado ($34)6oz sautéed filet mignon, roasted tomatoes, braised cipollini, sunny side egg, kimlan soy dressing, tomato coulispisco sour ($15)citrusy la caravedo pisco, citrus, egg white, peruvian bitters, cinnamon*beer ($9)Cerveza Cusqueña / PeruStarting with the drinks, I loved the fact that they had both pisco sour and cusqueña beer on the menu. This was something we drank often when we visited Peru, so it was very nice to see. In terms of the food, everything was delicious. The turmeric flat bread was incredibly memorable, and the tiradito de corvina should not be overlooked. If you're in the area, definitely try to stop in. Between the food, atmosphere, decor, and service, Rosaline is a top notch establishment.
