Arrogant service and abusive water charge
The evening started very good with a great table for the 9 of us. Family dinner with all the youngsters who were very excited to dine in this ‘chic’ restaurant. We all ordered a round of cocktails which were great. We didn’t order much wine only two bottles as the youngsters are no wine drinkers. The food was average but we ordered more than we could eat. Once the bill came we couldn’t believe it ! We were charged 15 !! bottles of water. One and a half large bottles each which was absolutely ridiculous. Each bottle €10. After complaining we got rude answers such as ‘well you hardly had any wine’ ‘I only charge as much as you drank’ We had ordered 2 bottles of water at the beginning and were not asked again if we wanted any more. The waiter decided how much and when we were getting more water! Having had enough of this abusive behaviour we obviously didn’t leave any tip. Needless to say that we left very disappointed and the evening was ruined. What a bad an arrogant service for such a wanna be restaurant spot. Never again!!
Shiny facade, nothing behind it
The restaurant has a good location. The decor is quite tasteful. The concept is interesting. The best thing is the fairly generous furnishings. But unfortunately that was it. The prices for the food are completely not justified in terms of value for money. I had a burger, the buns were way too thick so that the whole burger seemed bigger, the patty was okay, the cheese was already solid again, the whole thing was lukewarm. Plus 4 small slices of cucumber, a few good French fries and ketchup. That's it. Quite dry and miles away from a real burger. Then we had pasta, which you can get better at any Italian restaurant on the corner. Only the salad was good, but that's not difficult with the right dressing. The homemade lemonade is okay, but not a masterpiece. The cocktails just average. The whole thing for €130. The waiters tried hard, but weren't particularly friendly. In any case, not a place for particularly culinary delights. But if you like watching people then this is the right place for you. Lots of boys and girls who like to show off what they have. The young Munich chic, or who think they are. In short, the gastronomy is not great, but there is a lot of show surrounding it.
This time, terrible disappointment from the service
Previously, we were in August 2023, celebrating a birthday. Gorgeous cuisine, decent service. My birthday fell on February 24th and after a successful visit in the summer, we decided not to experiment and also booked a table at this restaurant. Table 58, on the 2nd floor - 7 people... the table initially seemed cozy, it was in the corner of the room... but... it turned out that behind the curtain that bordered the table area there was an elevator... to which baby strollers were pushed back and forth, and also apparently guests came out to smoke .. but we somehow tolerated it .. I’ll say right away - everything was fine with the cuisine, tasty .. the flamen cuisine was a little dry, this is one of the best dishes of the restaurant. Also, the oysters were not opened well - there were fragments of shells.. this of course does not make the kitchen look good.. But.. the worst thing, which depends on the mood of the guests, is the service by the waiter. And here - complete trash, failure, disgrace of the restaurant... the help from the waiter was minimal in choosing dishes, he twitched, was nervous, and constantly ran away. No kindness at all! At one point, dishes appeared on the table that no one had ordered!!! Well, so as not to spoil the mood, they didn’t swear... the plates didn’t change after eating! Until you say, no one changed either the plates or cutlery!!! Empty plates were also not cleared away after dishes until you say so!!! Is this a diner?!?! The restaurant saw that it was our birthday, lots of flowers!! No compliment from the restaurant!!! The level of such service bordered on a low-quality cafe!!! This is my first time meeting such a level in Munich!!! Just a shame and disappointment!

Kitchen top, service flop
In addition to a very interesting cocktail menu, the Rocca Riviera also offers an extremely high-quality wine list and convinces me with authentic Italian cuisine. You can even get Chianina beef here. Amazing! The interior is admittedly amazing! Absolutely stylish, ultra-modern on 2 floors. On the ground floor there is a large bar as the focal point, which can also be seen (and above all heard) from the gallery on the 1st floor. Unfortunately, it is sometimes very loud, as the bar staff do not make a special effort to handle the glasses carefully. There is clinking and clearing as much as they can. During our visit, at least 4 glasses were broken. Rather unprofessional... the very heterogeneous service also seems that way; some are very full of themselves, with their noses so high that rain falls on them as they walk, step on guests' feet as they pass and do not apologize, but rather expect an apology from the guest for having the nerve to simply sit there at a table. Others are extremely friendly and less focused on themselves than on the guest (as it should be). Others are unable to pronounce the Italian dishes correctly (Paccheri was served to us at the table as “Patscheri”). So there is still a lot of room for improvement. The lighting is very dim. Luckily we arrived in daylight, the guests at the next table had to use the flashlights on their smartphones to read the menu... a very bizarre picture. The cocktails are very good, the wines too. The quality of the food is also good. We had the grilled octopus with almond tabbouleh, grapes, coriander and lime salsa. Very nice! The same goes for the Paccheri that followed with San Marzano tomatoes, basil and lobster. Plenty of lobster, a fantastic sauce and the pasta cooked to perfection. The espresso at the end was as Italian as it can be. Conclusion: food and drinks top, service flop, ambience stylish but poorly thought out.
Arrogance, incompetence, arrogance
Reserved for 08/18/23 / 4 people; called back to confirm on 08/17/23; employee on the phone completely overwhelmed and unfriendly, annoyed. Can't find the reservation, asks what I want; can't explain when you have to come to be sure of getting a table (that you reserved) on the terrace. Says it's only there once a week. There is no response to the request to speak to someone competent. Note, I'm welcome to express myself negatively on social media, it's always full anyway. Arrogance, incompetence, presumptuousness - will end badly sooner or later, what a pity!!

If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

I had a bunch of resys and they cancelled them all and now when I get an alert and try to book it says the reservation is no longer available... has this happened to anyone else? Any recommendations on what to do?

Anyone can help with payouts, support hasn’t been helpful at all. My funds cleared and I can only retrieve $50 usd a day with a $5 fee and a % per transaction. It would take so long and so much in fees. Thanks!

I am having a tough time contacting and elucidating a response from AT Support. I had a listing at 6pm, which was a mistake as the actual listing reservation was at 11pm. This got somehow approved by AT, and a customer bought this from me for 6pm. I want to cancel this listing and refund customer , but there is no way of doing this ! This is so frustrating and making me lose hope on AT. Can someone help me please?

Banned from Resy for selling reservations- Do we have a rat on our hands???
I am new to this app and started off by selling a polo bar reservation and then quickly sold one more reservation. Not long after I received emails from Resy saying all my reservations are cancelled and I am being banned from Resy for life. How could this have possibly happened without a rat telling Resy that I sold the reservation. I need some advice on this situation and let’s catch the rat!

You can only deposit $50 at a time until you earn the “Sales and Low Refund Medal” I believe. Im new to this as well but the ability to deposit more money at once and increase your amount of listings comes with that medal.
