Over-rated and overpriced
Tucked away on a side street, this is a small ground floor establishment on two separate rooms. Small number of tables, nothing fancy, rather spartan. The staff very polite, unpretentious, smiling and helpful. The food was quite disappointing to the point of being bland with one or two notable exceptions. Fixed menu of about 15 "courses" (but these include bread, butter and olive oil). Not real courses, more like single mouthful tapas. Nothing exciting or particularly tasting. Ms Freitas was not there, "on holiday" we were told. In the open plan and very visible kitchen, four female chefs were already arranging the pre-prepared "courses"on trays. It felt like a food factory setting in advance what would be served. A microwave was heard opening and closing several times (to warm up the tapas, presumably). At €125 per person (excluding wine and water) you could do well to eat elsewhere, but it might have just been a bad night.

A thoroughly underwhelming, overpriced experience. No ‘wow’ factor whatsoever. Great service, beautiful setting, but doesn’t quite hit the spot.

Sublime, we had the 21 dishes menu, it is for big appetites only, let me tell you: what a treat!!! Service was faultless, and the wine were amongst the best I have ever had !!!! The real exclusive dining experience!!

No words except best meal of my life! Degustation menu, with a couple of picky eaters and the kitchen handled it all seamlessly. Wine pairing was very nice. Service outstanding. Attentive but not overbearing. Atmosphere nice but not stuffy. Would return. Absolutely deserving of their Michelin Star.

The presentation of the food was excellent and in most cases it tasted fantastic. The raw egg sauces and egg based dishes turned off some of our party. The wine waiter is still young and for mature palates may need guidance when considering wines. The wait staff’s personal presentation and deportment needs improvement and they need clean and ironed smocks each evening. The kitchen’s obvious excellence was let down by this, and is an opportunity for service excellence.

We eat from the Long Menu (12 courses), each plate of food was original and flavoursome. Nice steady pace which is really important when your eating so many small portion courses. Really helpful service with the team taking the trouble to translate into English, which is no mean feat for some of the more complex dishes with multiple of ingredients and textures. Would happily return.

Located at Rúa da Tafona less than 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral at Santiago de Compostela. We were greeted by chef Lucia Freitas that made us feel welcomed. Small cozy restaurant with full view of the kitchen. Nicely decorated with quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Food presentation was impecable with ingredients gathered from home garden and local market. The chef was able to accommodate our gluten and spice intolerant friends. The wine pairing offered was from the Riveira Sacra. Well deserved Michelin star for Lucia and her crew.

From appetiters to the main dishes, everything was very nice. The layers of the food were obvious and interesting. However they could do better because the taste of the leaves was too strong for the food.
Except the dessert and sweets were quite disappointing especially the green ice thing was awful.
The staffs were quite nice though.
