Restaurant Lazuli Enschede Reviews from The Last Year
Lazuli for a great evening
Great ambiance with delicious food. Each course with its own wine with a nice explanation of the origin and reason for the choice of the dish. Plates are little works of art with great flavors. Highly recommended for anyone who can and wants to experience a culinary evening.
Awesome
It was amazing! Good atmosphere, delicious food and delicious matching wines. And most delicious dessert. Great team. We'll be back
A surprising culinary evening

culinary excellence
A must to spend an evening for culinary enjoyment in Enschede. Beautiful original dishes, works of art on the plate and caress for the taste buds. Enthusiastic team that achieves this together.
Top class, delicious dishes and excellent service.
The food is delicious, tasty amuses, beautiful refined dishes with matching wines. The service is very friendly and knowledgeable and creates a pleasant, casual atmosphere.
Cheese and vegetables as stars on the plate
Very pleasant meal. Start with dressed oyster promised a lot in combination with the dry bubble. Amuse-bouches have a beautiful layout but could be even more pronounced in taste to make them really small flavor bombs. The fish starter had a good taste, but here too the flavor profile could be more pronounced. In the story, if you let the wine extinguish the fresh wasabi (Dutch!!), there must be enough left for that to happen. The dish with cheese, Jerusalem artichoke and leek was fantastic. A beautiful variation on the cauliflower epoisse classic, but very well made with a special role for the fresh Jerusalem artichoke. The head with lung fillet, crispy sweetbreads, bay leaves, celeriac and tête de moine. Once again the combination of cheese and vegetables takes center stage. Beautiful how the creaminess and flavor of the tete de moine balances the entire dish and brings all the flavors together. With cheese in the leading role twice, the cheese board had to shine and it did. With flying colors the best cheese board of the past 5 years. All Dutch and on request we were allowed to have all 9. I could write a very special review about this board, so you just have to experience it for yourself. The Lazuli cheese is also the namesake of the restaurant, so anyone who likes cheese (and vegetables) is in the right place. The love and expertise of the owner for the cheese as she prepared the cheese board from a beautiful cheese cart at the table is commendable. As well as the perfect temperature (that's where things often go wrong) The desert was beautifully laid out on a glass ball plate and consisted of smoked crème fraiche and a buckwheat cake with buckwheat crunches in the cake. It was given with tea poured at the table. Spectacular, not sweet desert was a closing that a star could be proud of. Lazuli is an absolute must for everyone from Twente and for visitors from the rest of the country who visit Enschede. Cared for, thoughtful, hospitable and they do not shy away from experimenting. And then I haven't even mentioned the excellent wines, brioche, etc, etc, etc. I'll be back here.
Pleasantly surprised
Very pleasantly surprised Very good food, pleasant and professional service. High standards are applied here. Nice atmosphere

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
