Cocktails here not good.
Ambience is good , but food doesn't taste as good. It was ok.

The atmosphere, decoration, music, cleanliness and service were excellent. The food was good, but not great as it should be since the prices are high. Cuatro Leches was super.

The food is amazing and the service is great! Christopher was our waiter and was excellent. Will definitely be coming back.
Be the first to ReplyThe restaurant is beautiful inside and out and really hit
The restaurant is beautiful inside and out and really hit the mark with cultural details. Our server was decent although nothing really stood out. The arepas themselves were delicious but the food as a whole was underwhelming and some items felt like they weren't prepared properly. We ordered a postre de natas which had no consistency and looked more like a cup of milk than a dessert. And the plátano maduro with cheese was pictured way differently on the menu than how the plate actually looked. In short, the presentation of the food could use A LOT of work. It doesn't feel like you're eating at a restaurant at all due to the lack of overall effort and presentation. They also charge $30 to sing happy birthday? And they give you a straw hat that probably costs them $1 (or less) to buy from Colombia. It's weird because restaurant staff singing happy birthday is pretty standard at every restaurant across the U.S. In short, I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to come here.

Food and ambiance is awesome!! Try the beef and chicken empanadas. Bandeja Paisa and the Churrasco is a must!

Pueblito Viejo, muchas gracias por la experiencia! Even with my limited Spanish, I laughed with the crowd during the performance by the two funny and talented musicians. Everyone looked happy and relaxed. Some customers stood up and danced. What a lively and fun atmosphere! I took so many photos inside and outside the restaurant. However, Yelp only allows 10 to be posted. The moment you arrive, you'll see colors and details that make this place unique. The traditional look and the unique pieces they have on display make this restaurant a standout. I got busy taking in all the details from the ceilings to the leather chairs and all the things that reflect their culture and traditions. Truly remarkable! The service is fantastic. They're very helpful with recommendations and are patient and very friendly. Hats off to these guys! I loved the cocktails which came beautifully made and tasted strong, tasty and refreshing. The fish stew was absolutely delicious and so was the everything in the huge plate of pork, sausage, plantains and potatoes. We couldn't finish the bandeja, it's too big so we had to get it to go. I'm looking forward to visiting Miami again and dining out at Pueblito Viejo again. To anyone looking for a great dining experience while in Miami, check this place out!
Be the first to ReplyMy visit started with valet parking.
It's mandatory to valet park ($6), the valet guy was really sweet. The restaurant is so unique with its decorations that hang from the ceiling, and it is very clean. You won't find dust piled up on the decor, which is a big deal to me. I went on a Sunday night at 9 and there was live entertainment. a lovely lady was singing ballads and salsa, the servers sang too. My server was nice and attentive. I ordered a bandeja with chicken, it was really good! The portion was huge and I left content and satisfied. I'll definitely be back. A great spot for a date or a family dinner.
Be the first to ReplyI haven't been there in a year.
The food has always been good and authentic but the restaurant has become intolerably loud. We excused ourselves to our server and had to leave before placing our order. Not what it used to be as far as a pleasant atmosphere. But if loud music and loud sound is your thing, by all means enjoy yourselves.
Be the first to Replyon arrival we were greeted with a charge of $6 for valet
on arrival we were greeted with a charge of $6 for valet parking where my car was only 10 feet away, should not be mandatory; most of the plates are served with "salted boiled potatoes" as a side, which is a single flavorless potato cut in 4 quarters and theres no substitution for sides which forces you to pay extra for what you would actually want to eat; we were a party of 7 and none of us will be going back

This restaurant is beautiful inside! I'm Colombian and the cultural details were really lovely to see. The empanadas de carne were the best! I got a bandeja pueblito as well that was very good. I do wish there were more beans. The portions were a bit small. The service was good, though I did order a coffee I never got, but I wasn't charged for it. Overall, was a nice experience.
Be the first to ReplyColumbian food.
Fried Fish, lettuce/tomatoes and Tostones. Drinks are offered, up sold with name brand first as house. Birthday charge is $30, for a song/hat/shot of liquor. Decor is entertaining. Photographer present to sell you your group pics. 3/$20 or $30/5.

Please try the Chicharron. The ambience is great and family oriented

Aqui no volveremos.
Be the first to ReplyWhat takes the cake for this restaurant is just how much
What takes the cake for this restaurant is just how much Colombian decor they have. From the replicas of Colombian artists to each table containing different images of celebrities. Once you walk in, you'll be blown away. Now that I've set the inside mood for you I'll tell you outside for parking-- it's valet $6 but because I rode with someone who has a handicap decal, I was able to park for free. Be aware that self parking is not an option nor is it free! Anyways, our service was pretty good. Can't complain there. The food is where they lacked. I've ate at plenty of Colombian restaurants and had better Sancocho de Gallina (chicken soup with veggies). Even the Pollo Asado (grilled chicken) could've tasted better. The Churrasco was good. We ordered a Refajo (mix of beer and Colombiana) and I felt like it was more soda than anything?! Now for the dessert, it was pretty watery. I personally love Postre De Natas (Milk Pudding) but not when it's so runny. I thoroughly enjoyed all the memorabilia and it felt like home but the food could've been better.

I feel the need to update my previous review, as I now understand that the parking company hired by the restaurant is the one at fault not the restaurant, the service provided was outstanding, the food was delicious. Wish they can soon expand to their own location, and continue to provide great service.

This is my friends and I's go to spot for a delicious meal and a fun night out! The churrasco is the BEST. The aquardiente is always flowing and whoever is on the mic is always entertaining! Definitely a must in Miami!

I love this restaurant! I've been coming here for years and still my favorite restaurant in Miami. The food is excellent (the churrasco might be the best in the city) and the vibe is next level. It's impossible not to have an amazing time. Note that sometimes there's a long line, but it's totally worth the wait!
Be the first to ReplyThis is a unique place with a pleasant ambiance.
The decorations make it stand out from other restaurants. Although the food is not the best, it is still enjoyable. The staff is friendly and always make sure you're taken care of and if you're lucky they sometimes have live music. Overall, I would recommend.
Be the first to ReplyIt is sad to see how much the quality of food and service
It is sad to see how much the quality of food and service has declined at this restaurant. We ordered the pork steak which was hard and dry, and the tostones were soggy. I told the manager about the pork steak and immediately he thought I was complaining to have it removed from the bill; his reply to me was "well, he ate most of it, I'm surprise it wasn't good" I was very disappointed with this reply. I do not recommend this restaurant.
