Super great food! One of the best kale salads I have ever had. The burrata was a great touch to the salad. The staff was incredibly kind and there was a piano player. 10/10 recommend.

Exquisite and unmatched when you really wanna impress come to the polo lounge and you won't be disappointed thank you for a fabulous experience
Be the first to ReplyCelebrated my 40th birthday here and had a wonderful time.
Food was delicious and service great. Ambience and setting is amazing. Truly memorable.
Be the first to ReplyWent here for my boyfriend's birthday.
The food was unfortunately so disappointing. Specifically, the oysters were good (but poorly shucked had some shell inside), the tuna tartare was lacking flavor, needed salt and acid. The worst part was the steaks, we ordered a filet mignon and a NY strip, both medium. The filet came overcooked, about medium well to well and not cooked evenly throughout. The NY strip was the worst, it first came out grey and totally overcooked, I hate sending food back but had to. When they brought it back a second time it was literally rare. Insane to charge $80 a steak and obviously not know how to cook it properly. I didn't say anything because our waiter was so nice. The desert was cheesecake and honestly it tasted frozen with some cheap jelly from a kids pb&j sandwich. Drinks (old fashion, pink lady, and Millionaire) were great. The service was also great. Ambiance was nice, too.
Be the first to ReplyThe Polo Lounge has been my "Cheers" when I'm in California.
I love the people, ambiance and food. I also love it's location as I live less than a mile away when I'm in Cali.

We've been here quite a bit but we usually go down to the counter. Lately we've been going to the Polo Lounge and have had the most amazing experiences here. Blake has been our waitress the last couple of times and she's simply amazing and a joy to be around. The food here is top notch. I've yet to have a bad meal. The ambiance is very Hollywood glam. With the green decor and booths that give it a warm intimate feel.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing as always, classic food and top-notch service.
This is were my family celebrates big milestones like graduations and engagements
Be the first to ReplyThe service is second to none.
The food was what was expected, very good. The atmosphere is excellent. Will be going back.
Be the first to ReplyI've always found when a restaurant gets the hospitality
I've always found when a restaurant gets the hospitality right, the food tastes better. A great meal is about much more than food - and it's the people who work front of house who know how to make you feel special. Sadly, the polo lounge has been slipping in this regard the last few times I have been here. The food has never been particularly good, but the ambiance, service, and vibe have always made up for it in my mind. Not quite sure if it's an over-corporitization, ego, or maybe a result of nepotism but I have distinctly felt like I'm getting attitude from those working the host stand upon check-in as of late. It's quite unseemly and totally unnecessary at a place like this. I was so disappointed at my last visit that I felt compelled to complain to management about it. I had arrived a few minutes early with the intention of arranging the flowers and champagne I had brought to enhance the table before my mother's arrival for her special occasion. I was curtly informed that "we only seat entire parties." When I pressed that I had arrived early so I could arrange the flowers and champagne BEFORE my mother's arrival the hostess behaved as if this was an awkward and unusual request. She then indicated that they would "make an exception just this once" and proceeded to assign our table. When it's not even 11am and the restaurant maybe has 5-6 tables seated this comes across as patronizing and condescending. I understand if it's midnight and the place is packed, but, give me a break!!! Due to covid the restaurant had apparently created a side patio in order to accommodate the social distancing (again I understand we are all under a unique situation) my complaint here is that again, on Mother's Day, and when the PL is known for live music is to have guests seating in an area that does not quite have the same vibe. It almost felt like a "bait and switch." To have booked a table months in advance only to be seated on an empty side patio with the faint sound of live music playing in the distance is pretty underwhelming. I tried to take everything in stride but the final straw came when the heat lamp failed to work after requesting it be turned on when my mother became cold. I decided I had to complain. While waiting for the manager to arrive I had an opportunity to observe the hostess turn a young family away who had apparently shown up at the wrong place. All I can say is a little grace goes a long way and feel like a pro would have made the accommodation and found a place to seat them rather than turn them away. I know there were available tables because we had just finished dining in solitude after the hostess claimed "we're going to be packed" upon my initial objection to being seated on the makeshift patio. My most recent visit at Christmastime was equally underwhelming. After arguing with the host informing us that we didn't have a reservation only to be corrected by another employee that the name she was searching wasn't the name I provided at least 3 times. After the "clarification" we were immediately seated at a booth and the 6th seat was literally 10-12" below the table - the edge of the table rested at whomever was seated in that seats chest. It was literally a joke and I figured we were being filmed for our reactions! The guest seated in the "chair of honor" was gracious enough to not cause a scene, but, even after requesting two additional cushions he was still at an awkward position compared to the rest of us. How can any rational person literally expect someone to sit at a table like that unless you're in some Tijuana style slop house? $135 for brunch and you're literally going to seat someone in that spot? It wasn't my reservation so I bit my tongue, but, wtaf??? Go to the Ivy instead - much better experience all around.

This is where you come to be treated like a star and to even see some Hollywood stars at this high end restaurant. Expect to spend here as nothing comes inexpensive and you'll understand why when you get the type of service and food. This upscale restaurant located in Beverly Hills hotel offers some of the best service I've ever had. The drinks came out immediately and so did the food. All up to par and to my expectations. Started off with some espresso martinis which were delicious. As we sat we got a variety of bread with butter. We ordered some oysters and a salad. Topped that off with the chicken parm and peppered steak which were both delicious. The finale and what people order often is the chocolate soufflé . I have had soufflé at many places and this one has perfected the skill. The ambiance is old school catered to the Hollywood stars. The service was impeccable as the orders of drinks and food came out almost instantly. There was some live music and piano played which set the mood right. This place is as classy as it comes. There is a reason they have been around for quite some time. A must go to place if not for the food for their soufflé. Check out my pics for an idea of presentation and how delicious the food looked. We couldn't finish the food and asked to get it wrapped up. Even the to go boxes are presented with elegance.

For what it is--an experience--the Polo Lounge deserves five stars. On a recent visit to LA I decided to have lunch here and am glad I did. The Beverly Hills Hotel is a world of luxury in a lush setting. The staff were first rate-pleasant, welcoming and attentive. I had a seared tuna Caesar salad. It was a nice serving of tuna that was perfectly prepared. The ambiance was all I expected it would be. I was seated in a corner where I had a great view of both the inside restaurant and the patio. It was great people watching. Clearly still a place where the Hollywood set meets for business lunches and a place for those in the industry to see and be seen. While it was pricey, it was a great experience and a very enjoyable lunch.
Be the first to ReplyInsanely expensive.
Like $42 for a salad. $20 for parking with validation. But you are guaranteed to spot a celebrity if that is your interest. If you want privacy and not to be hassled, the staff will surely respect your desires and keep you safe. The ambiance is lovely with live piano. The food was quite good. I enjoyed my Salade Nicoise with fresh grilled ahi. A fun LA experience, for sure!

I recently celebrated my birthday at Polo Lounge and had an absolutely amazing time! The brunch menu was exceptional, and the service was top-notch. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a friendly smile. The ambiance of the restaurant was breathtaking, with elegant decor and a relaxing atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The live piano music in the background added to the sophisticated vibe of the place. As for the food, I was blown away by the variety and quality of the dishes. The steak tartare were mixed to perfection, and the tuna nicoise was a decent amount to share the plate with my girlfriend and tasted amazing. The fresh juices and cocktails were also a delightful treat. The staff was attentive, courteous, and ensured that every detail was taken care of. They even went above and beyond to surprise me with a delicious birthday cake, which was a sweet touch that made the day even more special.Overall, my experience at Polo Lounge brunch was exceptional, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. The food, service, and ambiance were all superb, and it made for an unforgettable birthday celebration
Be the first to ReplyExcellent breakfast in an amazing setting.
We tried The Polo Lounge for the first time for breakfast and it did not disappoint. The hotel itself has awesome old Hollywood charm. The restaurant setting and food were fantastic and the service was great. We will definitely be back.
Be the first to ReplyHostesses were very off putting and didn't want to sit me
Hostesses were very off putting and didn't want to sit me despite a pretty empty restaurant on a Tuesday afternoon. I figured they had upcoming reservations so sat at the bar for lunch and drinks. I was there for over 2 hours and the place remained with plenty of open tables (photo below!). When departing I asked why I couldn't be seated considering there were still a ton of available tables and they couldn't give me an answer. Can't help but think that it was race discrimination considering I was the only one asked to sit at the bar. Jet at the bar was fantastic!! Rave reviews for him and the only reason they are getting two stars.
Be the first to ReplyWe received wonderful service.
Our server was both friendly and professional. We wanted to try the grande soufflé and was told the bake time would take 45 minutes, so our server ordered the soufflé at the perfect time so we wouldn't have to wait too long for dessert to arrive. The food is good, but not great. The tuna tartare came with lettuce, instead of the usual toasty. The filet was cooked perfectly, but the truffle au gratin were not cooked all the way through. The soufflé was spectacular though! It's ginormous and chocolaty. It's perfect for 6 people. The ambiance is great here too. The hotel is gorgeous and so is the restaurant. They have a live pianist that plays here that brings in a soft relaxed feel.
Be the first to ReplyI enjoy dining at the polo lounge for dinner.
Ambiance is great, they usually have live music. The McCarthy salad is my favorite dish, paired with the bread they always bring out. I recommend for a nice dinner, you may spot a celebrity too.

Good food, great atmosphere and top notch service what more could you ask for. I'd definitely recommend.
Be the first to ReplyAnother restaurant/bar taking the route of denying service
Another restaurant/bar taking the route of denying service to patrons for no reason. We used to frequent the Polo Lounge all the time, now post pandemic apparently you need to make reservations weeks in advance and deal with a condescending host to boot! Dozens of open tables and we just wanted drinks for an hour and the level of rudeness and disdain from the host was remarkable. They directed us to the other bar which only would allow outdoor seating despite the fact they claimed they couldn't allow people in the bar because it was cold outside??? Anyway lost a long time customer due to rudeness and truly archaic processes. Bye.
Be the first to ReplyClassic LA spot, love coming here! The hotel is beautiful
Classic LA spot, love coming here! The hotel is beautiful and the restaurant never disappoints. The service is excellent - Felix was our waiter and he was the best! Came for a holiday lunch and had the best time. The food is tasty and there's so much I want to try on the menu. Valet is easy and they validate at the polo lounge so it is only $15. Highly recommend coming here when in LA!
Be the first to ReplyThe Polo Lounge has been on this wee Scottish lassie's
The Polo Lounge has been on this wee Scottish lassie's bucket list for many years, we'd never been able to squeeze it in on our Cali trips up until now. Free street parking for a couple of hours, perfect. We were graciously allowed entry to the Polo Lounge, even though we had no business being there - we weren't able to adhere to the tiny dogs, tiny Balenciaga handbags, enormous sunglasses & blow-outs which seemed to be the dress code :) I absolutely LOVED people-watching there, I bloody love LA for this reason. It really is La La Land! We paid almost $60 for two cocktails, sat for a while trying to spot celebs & failing, then my husband tipped a whole glass of cold water over his crotch trying to get out of the booth :) As we exited quickly to avoid embarrassment, I simply HAD to try the loos, which were of course, lovely & blingy. Disappointed no celebs spotted, but beautiful decor, lovely staff, nice but pricey cocktails etc etc, I was delighted to scratch it off my bucket list & a fun afternoon was had. I'd love to return for brunch but my hubby would have to learn a bit of LA etiquette first & I'll need that teeny glitzy handbag & enormous hair :)
Be the first to ReplyOut their minds calling this place the polo lounge, I'm
Out their minds calling this place the polo lounge, I'm from Wellington, Florida we don't charge half the price for food and it's beyond better. They should revamp their menu and consult a Michelin star chef for the prices they're charging. Aside from that Steak cooked well, flavor meh. Fries meh.. aioli is surprisingly good. Salad not tooo bad. Chicken park was actually wonderful just feel like a place like this needs a more upscale menu we all like to taste new things they should live up to their standard as the "Polo Lounge" or change the name.
Be the first to ReplyI recently had my anniversary dinner at the Polo Lounge.
Our server Eugene was completely outstanding. He not only was kind enough to personalize the special occasion for my wife, but even went above and beyond for helping us obtain a special token despite the gift shop being closed. The managers were also very attentive and always checked in to make sure everything went well. Needless to say, the food was phenomenal as well as the soufflé. As a patron of this establishment for over 10 years, I've always been impressed with the kindness of the staff, the personal touch to things, and the fact the people here treat you without any pretentiousness. Because of these reasons and much more, I will continue to enjoy coming here.
Be the first to ReplyWent on Sunday the 17th of July 2022 for Brunch.
Extremely expensive. $700 for four people. They present you with a three course menu at $105 per person and do not explain that you can also order a al crate. The service was excellent and the food was very ordinary. Their famous salad was terrible. Avocados tasteless and the rest of the items in the salad tasted like out of a can. The smoked salmon was not as good as Costco. You needed a microscope to find the lobster in the lobster roll that had terrible seasoning. The deserts were very good. Parking is $20 even eating at the restaurant. As a native Angeleno I am glad I got to see this power joint but will NEVER go back to the Polo Lounge.
Be the first to ReplyStaff dishes out ridiculous rules, ie.
Couldn't use my British drivers license to purchase drinks, was told I need a passport, like I carry a passport around waiting to get lost. Female indoors server made it her mission to not let me drink even though I am 23 years of age and my ID very much shows it. Your rules can be your rules and I won't deny that but at the end of the day she made it her absolute life to make sure I had an awful day and not be served. She very much knew I was 23 and my ID shows that, she just decided to be difficult and annoying even though they had absolutely no reason to be. The manager is also a prick and is useless, never seen someone so incompetent working in food and hospitality. Need a new day job mate. I've visited numerous times and never had a problem with the waiter who runs the outside on Sundays but whoever the woman is who runs inside on Sunday's, you know who you are, stuck up bitch. Needs a cock or 2 darling.
