Rude staff and disappointing food
We decided to try this place after seeing Veal Cutlet on the menu. We came in and were seated promptly. The waiter came over, was rude and dismissive. We placed our order and waited. We didn't receive bread until after our dinner arrived, and guess what.... no Veal Cutlet!! He never ordered it!! The food was bland and overpriced. We told the owner what happened when he brought our undercooked fillet back to our table. He didn't really care, but said thanks for letting me know. There are so many delicious restaurants in Sorrento, do yourself a favor, steer clear of this one.
Highly recommend that you avoid this place
Very rude staff!! Food was ok - wouldn’t recommend the coffee but there are plenty of other restaurants in Sorrento that would be worth trying - avoid this place if you can.

Me and my husband came here for dinner tonight 11th May with our 1 year old son. At the start everything was fine. Waiters were interacting with our son and friendly. After a while after my son had his dinner which we brought with us he was getting a little excited and was abit loud at times. We know others around us don’t want to be hearing this while having dinner so we quickly distracted him at the time and it worked. It was quite clear after this that they wanted us gone. I was STILL eating my bread that came with my starter and one of the managers told a waiter to take my plate. The waiter clearly felt uncomfortable about this as he could see I was still eating. The manager then told him again to take it. So he did. I wasn’t fussed as I thought ‘yeah I get it his being a little loud’. Also starter was nice and no complaints there. Main came out - tasted nice but CLEARLY microwaved as when I got to the middle it was COLD. And not cold where it had got abit cold cos it was left. It was COLD like it had been in a fridge first then microwaved. At this point I ate it. We felt uncomfortable as it was as they clearly didn’t want us there. When it came to paying the bill we wanted to give some feedback to the manger/owner. We told him that we wasn’t keen on the lasagne due to it being cold in the middle and to maybe heater it up for longer next time. Well … a normal response would be ‘Thankyou for your feedback we will take this on board and I’m sorry for your experience’. NO. NOT US. Basically was told we are lying and we should have said something. What for you guys to put it back in the microwave again? Couldn’t believe how rude they were. Would not recommend.

We can’t fault the food but unfortunately the service that we received was poor!! We have ate in many restaurants whilst here in Sorrento, it’s a shame on our last night we received such service not the ever lasting memory you want. The waiter in charge was absolutely full of himself and unhelpful with the menu. We certainly do not rate this restaurant!!!
Avoid this place!
I don't normally write bad reviews, but this one is the exemption. The place was semi empty when we came in. The waiter was pushy and rude. Everyone around the table ordered drinks, I wanted water, still. I received sparkling. When I asked what comes with the lemon chicken, I got a weird look. My friend had fish risotto, it wasn't cooked well and it was fishy. Overall a bad experience from drinks to food.
Good for pizza
We ate here early evening during a break in Sorrento. Pizza was great and cannelloni okay too. Almost overwhelmed by the extensive wine list though. Our service was fine but they evidently had new staff who were being trained up.

I had already been there other times and I wanted to risk it again as I was with friends who wanted to try the pizza in this restaurant. What to say ? Rough and tasteless pizza. Apathetic, indifferent and unrelatable staff. All served quickly and collected just as quickly. Not a smile, not a hint of friendliness. What is the real problem? The owner and I assume his wife who treat you in an opinionated and annoying way. Not to mention the reviews. All negative reviews receive rude responses and invitations to never enter this temple of gastronomy again. Is it possible that whoever enters this restaurant is either an imbecile, unprepared, or someone who has never entered a place where you eat? The owner, custodian of the culinary Word, seems to have never done a real soul-searching and put aside his enormous presumptions. Alas, its luck is only the location, otherwise Aurora needs a total overhaul!! Waiting for the usual rebukes…!
No interest
We had 2 different dishes. : Fried chicken, entry-level chicken, tasteless and soft. Served with frozen fries. Pizza, greasy and tasteless too. Made with poor quality products too. All for a not entry-level price though.

Excellent pizza
We wanted to eat pizza and this restaurant was suggested to us by the staff at the hotel where we were staying. It is located in the main square of the town, we had "discarded" it because it seemed like the usual tourist trap, but I had to change my mind. The pizza (Margherita con Bufala) is really good! Quick service! Bill in line with the prices of the place.

This was my go to restaurant in Sorrento! Ate their first and kept coming back! Best Pizza Ever has in the area, loved the staff. It is very welcoming and everyone was so helpful! You must try it!

The food was ok but the service made this place a bad experience. This was the only waiter in Sorrento who was upset and did not want to serve us. He looked mad that we were there and every time I asked for something he would not acknowledge me. I asked for bread two times and it never came. There were two white Caucasians who were treated nicer. I felt like they were being racist towards my family. I just wanted to get out of there as fast as possible. If you come to Sorrento do not waste your time or money here. There are so many more places here that will treat everything with respect no matter your race.

TRAVELERS BEWARE!!! We came to this restaurant for lunch as part of a tour. The presentation of the entree was hideous, the chicken was too dry, and the potatoes were too salty. When I told the manager he got offended and said there was nothing he could do because it was what the tour ordered. He did not bother offering a replacement or apologize for the quality. He started arguing with me and said everyone else is eating the same thing and no one else is complaining. So what? I am complaining! I'm not nobody! Does everyone need to complain for the complaint to be valid? How does he know other people are not thinking the same thing? Maybe they're just not saying anything! Terrible customer service on his part and very rude. Since the manager treated me this way on top of the food being bad, i will complain to Holland America cruise to never take anyone here again. The only thing good about the meal was the water and wine. This place most likely deserves all the bad reviews it gets.

Great staff-all family and treated us as family too! Great recommendations for wine and pizza. The "marguerita" pizza is just sauce and cheese which is the way to go. The caprese salad was delish and this dessert was insane! Highly recommend for a pizza dinner!

Thank you for the question, if a seller is working on answering your bid, you cannot cancel it until their time is up and the bid is released back to you. The full amount of funds then go back into your AT account. Typically a seller has 48-72 hours to complete the bid.
