An excellent dinner spoiled by an uninteresting dessert
Very pleasant service, excellent dishes, only one regret with the 4-course dinner ending with an ordinary dessert, a rhubarb sorbet, which spoils the evening a little.

Really good selection of wine, really really good food and service! We couldnโt have a chance to see the main chef but the taste was above the clouds in every dish.

Quality and delicious dishes. Very friendly and attentive staff. Exceptional egg hunt, the best my son has ever done. Bravo to the hatter, disguised too well and who plays his role too well. Brunch on the counter, in front of the cooks. Best brunch of my entire life. Bravo Yannick Alleno what talent!!!

An unforgettable moment for my 50th birthday. A refined, tasty cuisine, without the need to add anything to the title of the dishes. We found everything in the tastes, and in each mouthful a different flavor, for us, new to starry culture but who are very demanding, we We had a great time, great service and thanks to the manager who was working his last moments, we found him very sincere in his approach to customers whatever their appearance. In fact, we passed by the restaurant by chance and decided to stop there based on the menu that caught our eye. Our outfit actually denoted the atmosphere and the usual clientele, we felt it on our arrival with a particular look. Disappointing attitude of the young woman who informed us about the wine who commented on our choice with a colleague in an amused and ironic tone. Not very classy in this type of establishment, we should learn not to judge people on their learning... which is sometimes misleading. If we go through the door of the restaurant, it is because we have the means to do so, even if we believe that it is not always necessary to order a more expensive bottle of wine. For your information, our personal wine cellar is very well stocked. Except for this little moment which didn't spoil anything because everything else was really perfect. Thank you Mr ALLENO

Wonderful gastronomic experience! Great discovery of whiskey and wine with the attentive sommelier. Taste pleasure from start to finish with the adorable chef Thomas Ruiz who brings a magical moment to life! Pure joy for the scallops, marrow, extraction of Iberian ham and caviar... Exquisite crab starter with surprising flavors. A perfect pleasure among a beautiful, smiling team!

Refined dishes that we really enjoyed. It was a discovery. We are won over. Very attentive service. We will come back for the other restaurants of the Ledoyen pavilion

Fantastic experience at the counter, immersion in the teams we watch doing goldsmithing. Class and attention, incredible meal.
Be the first to ReplyExceptional Even For A Simple Light Lunch.
In an elegant setting where the welcome is in tune with each other, the dishes are deliciously innovative. The butler's explanations are as precise as the cooking. Unfortunately in the winter garden the wind tunnel is almost as loud as the music is unbearable. The 200โฌ/person will not satisfy you.

Unfortunately disappointing. Overall, not very creative cuisine, at least for the Pavyllon brasserie. Not the impression of experiencing a Michelin star. Good but nothing more. We donโt feel the touch of a world-renowned chef. Maybe because he takes more care of his 3-star hotel two floors higher? Impression reinforced after tasting the very good and creative cuisine of Nicolas Carro at Carantec the previous week. A real experience of a Michelin star restaurant which leaves a real memory in the taste buds unlike Pavyllon which does not make you want to return. Damage.
Be the first to ReplyOne dish really stood out
As it was pretty nippy outside we had booked a table for four in the inside which turned out to be well located with a garden view. Food and service was pretty good but on the pricey side for a One Star The Surf and Turf combo of Wagyu beef and Lobster was excellent . Could have done with a double helping ! Note that all main dishes are smallish in content , for those with good appetites !

The food was nothing special, but the prices extremely highโฆfrom a one-star restaurant we expected definitely more

Our second visit, and an opportunity to reframe our view. This is dinner theater in super luxury surroundings within a 3-Star Michelin culture (the 3-Star Ledoyen upstairs, from which this new, more casual counter and garden space was carved out). Donโt think about the garden. You are coming here for the theater of the counter, a fully open real kitchen with real cooks preparing a four or seven course meal (135โฌ or 245โฌ), plus more expensive a la carte. The food is quite good, ambitious and complex, but not 3-Star. What is unique is to watch a real kitchen in action, and it is not all ballet. There is a hierarchy, a chorus (โyes chefโ), some running for ingredients, furious activity, many bare hands, a glove rarely in sight. Service is friendly and bilingual. Wine service has bias to higher prices, but no resistance to pushback. For us, the theater is the lure. The food alone is not special enough to justify the prices. The combination is.
Be the first to ReplyNot sure how this is even Michelin rated
While I do recognize we are difficult to please given that we are jaded NYerkers, but this restaurant didn't even come close to delivering anything close to justify its price tag. Let us start: While ambiance is nice, the chosen music to play was cheesy club music from 15 years ago, which is just illogical. Our sommelier was extra pushy and lacks any refinement in how to deal with people in my humble opinion. Service was equally slow, we had empty plates on our table side (we ordered many dishes to try) for at least 10-15 minutes before they picked them up. Not once did they fill my small glass of water (they did once after I asked) . Food was honestly maybe the most shocking ; two of our dishes were exquisite and very much what I would expect from a place with a Michelin 3 star chef, but the rest were either blah, or as it came to the mains and the desserts, inedible. In fact since the history of when I started eating I think this is the first dessert that I sent back to the kitchen. while the staff did comp the desserts, no alternatives were presented. I am not sure if the chef wants this to remain a Michelin 1 star restaurant because I am not sure that is possible based on our experience. Take your money and time elsewhere.
Be the first to ReplyLost up their own backsides
I don't know why I always need to preface reviews for Michelin-starred restaurants with the tired spiel that, as a family, we have eaten in plenty of Michelin restaurants. We've taken our kids to eateries around the world (and nearly most weekends in London), ranging from one, two and three star restaurants, to legendary local venues, night markets and street hawkers in Asia. It's easy to spot new openings when they're Michelin-baiting and also recognise why some have the accolades they do. This establishment might get it right on food but the service is the worst kind of pretentiousness you'd think was left behind twenty years ago. What's more, the place wanted to embarrass us into not asking for the formule/set lunch menu. They sat us down at the bar (after telling us they would be putting us in the Winter Garden on the phone the day before), where the proprietor was busy chatting to his celeb mates, and offered us only the pricier menu with no mention of the formule (even though it was stuck up outside). It was only after the complimentary bread that we plucked up the courage to not question our memory from the website and the sign outside to ask for the set lunch which they then fished out from a drawer and handed to us - with not even an apology or acknowledgment that this hadn't even been mentioned earlier. What's more the set lunch menu was half the price of the starting set menu in the ones they had originally handed to us. Incredibly, disingenuous and dishonest. At the end we weren't offered the complimentary chocolate that everyone gets with the bill. We came away aghast at the experience. These people need to go and see how Michelin star restaurants operate in other parts of the world to realise how far up their own backsides they have disappeared. Poor. Don't waste your money here.
