Norma New York Reviews from The Last Year
Pizza Delivery: 7.
9/10 I got the Rianata Pizza (Fresh candy tomatoes, anchovies, garlic, parsley, pecorino cheese, oregano). It was good. I would return.
We dropped by tonight walking by and it was fantastic!
We dropped by tonight walking by and it was fantastic! Really good food! We had the pesto pasta and a pizza. Outside seating is a little cramped but the food made it worth it. They also have a full bar and I was very happy with my martini. Highly recommended!
Better than in Sicily: you are in Manhattan
Extraordinary Italian restaurant in Manhattan: exactly like in Italy, not one of those places that call themselves Italian and then... Stunning pizza, high quality, quality products, such as you can only find in Italy. Fast, helpful, friendly service. Excellent value for money
Lovely cosy Italian
We came here for dinner after reading good reviews and had a really lovely time. The restaurant was quiet in the early evening but had a nice, happy vibe. The food choices were varied and reasonably priced. We both had pasta and it was absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. I really couldn’t fault this place - we had a wonderful meal here and would highly recommend.
Awesome puzza, speedy service.
Some of the best pizza I’ve ever tasted. Perfectly baked in stone oven, thr best fresh ingredients and texture. I’ comming back.
Delicious food, great atmosphere.
Delicious food, reasonable prices, amazing staff- say hello to Vincenzo & Uliks (Ulysses). Highly recommend bruschetta, arugula salad, tiramisu- you can't go wrong since the whole menu is great.
Incredible
Incredible pizzas in New York. Spectacular nuttela and tiramisu pizza. Price quality, for New York, very good.
I had the pizza ortolana and arancina norma.
The arancina was nothing particularly impressive - literally just a giant ball of fried risotto. It definitely wasn't worth $16. However, the pizza was very good - the crust was chewy, there was plenty of cheese, and the vegetables added just the right variety of flavors.

Had a great experience here!! I was dining alone and it was a very comfortable environment. The bread that came with the meal was good and very fresh! I ordered the crochette di patate, and the anelletti siciliani pasta. The crochettes were a phenomenal starter and I loved the dipping sauce. They're basically fried potatoes with a soft inside. My anelleti siciliani was a baked pasta dish, and it was also delicious. It all tasted very authentic -- of my favorite italian spots in the city now. Eating the leftovers now! Servers were all very nice :)
Perfecto!!
Stumbled upon this cute little restaurant when walking the streets of NYC yesterday. Was looking for a gluten feee meal as I am celiac and found they offered GF pizza and pasta. I ordered the lamb ragu and hubby got a pizza, the ragu was the best pasta dish I have ever had hands down!! The lamb had plenty of flavour and melted in your mouth - honestly a perfect dish!! Highly recommend this place to anyone searching for delicious Italian
Excellent
Excellent place. You don't have to go to an expensive restaurant to eat tasty food. Very good service. We tried several pastas and they were excellent. Particularly the Pasta C Anchovie. Without a doubt highly recommended.
This is a place that actually disappointed us.
Much of the food is very good, some a little underwhelming. Bruschetta was topped with tomatoes straight from the fridge and tuna salad seemed to have little tuna which might even have been tinned - you couldn't tell. Pasta dish , Anelletti Siciliani was excellent. The desserts seem to have taken a huge hike in price. The two lovely desserts we had were priced at 40% more than the current online menu (restaurant not takeaway). Also apparently the previously free bread and oil is no longer free it is now $4. If you don't want to pay you get 4 dry pieces of bread. The service was a bit over the top. We had two waiting staff continually prowling about 6 tables which was a bit intrusive. Unforgivably our mains arrived before we had completed our bruschetta and the plates were shoved around to fit on the table without any thought for how we would feel. This actually was our most expensive meal whilst in NYC when we thought it would be better value.
A real gem.
Pasta brought me back to Sicilia and the gluten-free pizza is incredibly delicious, not to mention the great service and delicious wine selection - Sicilian wines of course. We eat here every time we get to be in the city.
Excellent
Truly excellent restaurant. The pizza and desserts are delicious. The service is fantastic, an Italian guy who has lived in New York for 4 years served us and was really kind.
Good, very good!
Very clean. Food very nice. Davide, the manager, a gentleman. Michelin 2020. They have 2 restaurants in Manhattan. Great job folks. Thanks a ton.
Their food is typical Sicilian.
In particular, their arancini are so perfect. If you're a non-meat-eater like myself, their Norma arancini are the best. Try them out. Their desserts are divine. I love this place. Great ambience, and the staff are courteous and accommodating.
Very positive experience
I'm speaking above all for Italians who want to experience the REAL Sicily...... absolutely come and try this place, it's amazing, you eat very well and Davide, the maitre d', is very good and attentive to every detail, everything is perfect, the prices are not high, you spend just maybe a little for what they offer bravo bravo.
Grandma's kitchen in New York (of a starred grandma!)
Incredibly good restaurant! You eat like in the best Sicilian restaurants (and we are Sicilian!), with excellent traditional dishes. The environment is welcoming and the staff, which also includes Italians, are top notch! They went out of their way to find a corner for me and my daughter, so as not to have to wait (you can't book, the wait isn't long in any case). All the dishes are exceptional, from appetizers to first courses, from pizzas to desserts. You can get anything takeaway. Only flaw? If you get here, you won't be able to experience anything else in the following days!

Norma is a nice Sicilian restaurant recommend from the Michelin guide in Hells Kitchen. We decided to come here on a Friday evening. The restaurant does not take reservations online or on the phone so we came in person. Luckily we did find a table to seat us and they did accommodate us having a baby stroller. We started off with their Burrata which was fresh and creamy. It was followed by Frito misto, a seafood platter of shrimp calamari and fried zucchini. The calamari were fresh and crunchy, and squeezing lemon on the plate definitely enhanced it. We also ordered their margherita pizza which was ok but nothing special. For pastas we ordered their pasta alla Norma. This was the star of night, definitely my favorite dish here, the pasta sauce was out of this world with little eggplant and pecorino & ricotta salata cheese. We also ordered Tagliolini al ragù di agnello e caprino which was their spaghetti with lamb meat and goat cheese. It was good too. My only take is that they didn't have many pasta dishes that didn't include pork. Kind of limited our dishes but overall I was very happy
I have since been back and just wanted to say the carpaccio
I have since been back and just wanted to say the carpaccio di polipo is a must must try. The pistachio tartufo was awesome as well. Same top notch ingredients and friendly/vibey service.
It's about time I gave Norma a review given that I go
It's about time I gave Norma a review given that I go frequently. Norma offers solid pizza which I get every time I visit. The pasta Norma, the gnocchi, and the cannoli for desert are the other standbys. I typically get the bresaola or the friti as a starter, if I'm getting one. The Sicilian sandwiches and the arancini are less exciting imo. The drinks are solid. Give a try.
One of my favorite spots in the city.
The food is consistently great. Can't go wrong here.

I’m new too. I’m trying the Trial and Error approach. I look at the top trending restaurants and make a few reservations then see what sells.

I’m also new but half a step ahead of you. There are two ways to make money.
Post listing or fill bids. Bids are placed by the customer that means if you get the reservation it will sell. Listing may not sell.
Go where there is demand and trying filling bids. It will give you an idea of what restaurants are popular and how to secure them.
Try to make your first dollar and everything will get easier from there. When trying for your first bid, go for a lower paying reservation. There is less competition and will let you understand the process.
