Not A Way To Run a Restaurant
We were walking in Chinatown and decided to have dim sum. This restaurant had on the marquee dim sum. My wife asked if it was a full array of dim sum. Answer was yes picked some items off the cart asked about others, we don’t have them. Ordered two items that we were told will take time to prepare. They never showed. The items we had were good but were cold.
Next time in NYC, they won’t see our business.
Worst food experience I've ever had
The dim sum were quite ok, just my girlfriend ordered a portion with pork ande there were pieces of shrimps inside. She is allergic to shellfish, good I've noticed that. I have ordered seafood with rice, what I received was a plate with couple of shrimps and pieces of cod on pain rice. Rice was good, fish terrible. We have and with our order tap water that never arrived. They charged 15% of tip without asking anything to us, that I told U was not going to pay. Service was the most unpolite we've ever experienced.
Be the first to ReplyPerfect Family Restaurant for Excellent Chinese Food
We headed to Chinatown and chose this restaurant after stepping inside and seeing all Asian patrons eating there. We were a group of ten people and the service was amazing. We tried some of the appetizers coming by on carts - crispy tarot jumbo shrimp were excellent and the kids liked the little egg rolls. Most people there were choosing dumplings, but we decided to order off the menu and all three choices - General Tsau’s Chicken, Beef and broccoli, and chicken lo mein - were delicious. When we got the bill, the tip was included, and we were pleasantly surprised - under $100. Very reasonable for ten people in New York City!

I've been going here, on and off, for decades. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for dinner, but the dim sum is quite decent - the waitresses with trays of various dumplings circulate throughout and the prices are reasonable.
Be the first to ReplyThe bathroom condition says it all
Some of the food that came out of the kitchen looked great but what I had was really basic and a bad example of what Chinatown is about. Just doesn't feel very clean and won't come back again.

This place has to be the most filthiest place I have ever visited in all my years, I wouldnt even let my worst enemies dog eat there! The bathrooms looked like the scene from Trainspotting, the waiter who served us literally had puke stains on his shirt, there was old trodden in food on the skanky red carpet, every bowl/dish/plate which we were served with was dirty and had chips, I ordered prawn noodles and my girlfriend ordered noodle soup we both did not finish due to the filthy conditIons and poor quality of food and requested the bill as we wanted to leave ASAP before we contracted some severe disease, the waiter had the cheek to ask for a tip!
I’m surprised the NYC sanitation dept. has not closed this place down!!!! Do yourself a favour never ever ever visit this sh@t hole, go to McD’s!
Ooh yes!!
I went here for dim sum last Saturday and it was so good!! I can’t say what I got because that’s not how dim sum works!! I got a bunch of things and they were all so good!! This place is called mandarin court and it reminds me of a dude I once knew named Trevor Slattery (from a movie called Iron Man 3)!! He was the mandarin until everyone found out he wasn’t!! It’s one of the worst plot twists ever!! The only reason I say this is because I don’t review movies and this place has the word mandarin in it!! You’re probably too weirded out by this review so if you are you don’t have to keep reading this!! The last thing I will say (this is serious!!) is that this place is a good cheap place so you should come here and get a lot of very good food!!
