One of the most famous brunchs in town
And a fantastic view over the city. Extremely busy on weekends mornings/early afternoons, If you are coming rather to appreciate the atmosphere and view,I would recommend an early dinner in a spring or summer day,when you may also be seated attheir terrace.

Booked a brunch for a large birthday group, 10 adults. Nobody mentionned that the buffet would be depleted at the time proposed. Nothing was replaced in the last half hour. We could have arrived an hour earlier but the reservation staff just didnt care. Prosecco on arrival was too much for the waiter. We were an inconvenience. If you get a good table and a nice serving staff then you are in luck. We tried it 3 times and dont go any more

Me and my husband spent a few days of our vacations in Brussels and we couldn’t pass without going to MIM restaurant. First time we just went for the terrace view and to drink something, there’s no table service in the terrace and the waiters didn’t seem very helpful. However we came back a few days later, this time for lunch. We sat inside, and after we saw the waitress behavior we decided to lunch somewhere else, definitely they are not a nice staff, aggressive with the costumers and our waitress in particular we saw her rolling her eyes behind costumers back at least 2 times. Very unpleasant. Hope you have a better experience. The city view is the only positive thing from our visit.

This place has such a wonderful location, yet ruined by the horrible customer service. I have been some months ago and the staff was very unfriendly, rushing us to hurry since they would close in 30min (!) while we we would have appreciated to finish our drink without this constant reminders. But in a latest episode the staff was simply rude, and borderline offensive. I have been trying to reserve a brunch for 4 & a child in a buggy, “we do not accept buggies” then I asked what solution they recommend, is it possible to have a table on a side of the room (calmer) “ no it is not possible to guarantee that” I have been then kept on the line while the lady was talking with several other people and when I said that was bad customer service she simply hung up the phone! How can you have such a bad customer service in such great location. Really, they do not deserve to manage it !

Brussels is a friendly place and restaurant staff are often charming, but not at the restaurant at the top of the Musical Instruments museum. After an hour of viewing the museum exhibits we were looking forward to a coffee, but staff made us feel very unwelcome because we weren't buying food, and we heard them barking at other customers too. Everyone seemed grumpy, and we became grumpy too on finding that the 'cafe au lait' was just a small, bitter Americano with a tiny plastic tub of cold milk. A shame - the cafe is beautiful, with great views. With the right management it could have a lovely atmosphere.
