Not worth a visit
We were 4 friends who bought vouchers. We have got tables in a dirty basement by a door without any proper space between the tables. We thought that the door by our table would be closed. Some employees have however passed by us through that door while my chair was literally placed to block it. They apologized but we needed to stand up from our chairs in the middle of our dinner several times to let them pass through. Employees told us that they didn’t have any other option to enter the room where their things were than to pass through our table. There was a smoke smell by the door when one of the employees started smoking just on another side of the door without closing the door from outside. The service was very slow in the begging. No water or wine for at least 45min, we were simply ignored. The food was boring and was totally opposite to what was advertised when we bought the vouchers. Don’t waste your time on this place, there are so many other places in Copenhagen much more worth visiting and still paying the same price.

Really bad experience. Starter and main course were tasteless. The dessert was ok. It pulled the review up to two stars. You sit incredibly close at tiny tables, almost like caged chickens. Not one spoke Danish.

Just had lunch, which was a boring experience. The restaurant appears dirty, was placed against a windowsill, where the plants have gone out, and there is hair and dirt. Small portions of food, main course veal tip breast, was totally overcooked with no taste, served with a ridiculously small portion of watery mash. The dessert was very nice. Will not come again.

Disappointing experience. Our deal was for 4 dishes, but we only got 3. First, an indifferent mushroom porridge. Head-on veal tip breast so tough that the knife could hardly cut through. Dessert very small but otherwise ok. The portions were so small that we asked for extra bread so we could be full. - it was sold out. That it should be a Michelin chef in charge of the restaurant is incomprehensible. The food was awful. There were several tables complaining about the tough meat.

Way overrated. They have no control over food, wine or time. The service does everything they can, but the result ends up being mediocre. The food is ok, and the wine is generally ok too, but several fail completely. Time is poorly managed, so all of a sudden you have to pay because the table is gone for someone else. We had ordered a four-course menu with an upgraded wine menu, but only a few of the wines lived up to expectations. It must also be said that the wine menus were reasonably priced - but despite the upgrade it generally fell flat. Cannot be recommended.

We had bought a deal for lunch, and were somewhat surprised that the place seemed so worn and dirty when we arrived. The food was boring, without context, and totally under seasoned, there was even a very big difference in the portion sizes. The one who served us, others not what he was doing, was very busy and inexperienced. Boasting that the place has received Michelin recommendations is real false advertising, because it was in 2021!

Had bought deal on a 4 course 2024 on Early Bird. The food was boring. The starter (salmon) was drowned in raspberry jam so you couldn't taste the fish and the main course was boring and cold. Service mediocre. We will not come again.

There were 3 of us who had bought a 4 course deal and left quite disappointed. The starter was pieces of salmon with raspberry sauce and did not go together at all. 2. The dish was a porridge/risotto which didn't matter, the culotte was replaced with dry brisket. Finally, a delicious dessert with ice cream and chocolate. We ordered the house white wine and got a mediocre Chardonnay for NOK 650, which was not on the wine list. Finally we were charged 75.- for 3 bottles of water, even though we only got 2. To advertise a Michelin chef is completely wrong and not to tell us about changes in the menu and the price of a wine, which the waiter himself admitted to not having any idea about, makes me think of taking the money home on cheap deals. Will not come again

We bought a deal and got the food for 2/3 of the price. In the description, emphasis was placed on the fact that it was Michelin chefs who prepared the food. We put a big question mark on that. The food was ok, but definitely not more. Taste, composition and presentation were extremely poor. The room was sad and "cold". I sat and looked into a concrete wall with holes in it, for a picture hanger or similar, a speaker and a heater fan. They didn't have more of the sf wines on the card. The toilets were unsanitary and dirty. The portions were extremely small and we went straight on to the sausage cart. It was a poor experience and we will not come again. Boasting a Michelin star from 2021 is downright embarrassing!

Upon arrival we were given a very bad table under the stairs and we were quickly moved upstairs to a nice table. The food (4 courses and matching wine) was very surprising and good. The service - a young woman from New Zealand - was smooth and very pleasant. In short: a rough start but a perfect retrospective. Recommended!

I used to be a regular customer loving all dishes they served. My last visit was 2021 Dec and now came back 2023 Jan - the dishes taste worsen and they only service two pieces of bread for two people (they only serve with starter) and main dishes everything getting worse. I do not recommend regular customers at least to come back you cannot expect same quality and without refill of bread. only 2 piece of bread for a whole 4 meal course. It is amazing. I talked with stuff and she told us the management changed in the past year and also the chef changed as well. I and my husband will never ever come back to this place although we missed the previous dishes and I guess better to say the previous style of dish and services. Also all the stuff are very young and trained not well at all - they did not have a manner clean up dishes and even explanation of wine is not detailed and not great. I guess sooner or later the business go down to the hill if they do not change for an improvement.

Very weird experience. 1. We have booked table for 20.30. When we came 20.15, we got to know our table isn't ready yet. No problem. We came back 20 minutes later. Our table still wasn't ready, so we had to wait 15 min. 2. When we were sitted at our table. We asked after German orange wine. The waiter came back with rose wine. When we pointed out at the mistake, he said "it was the same ". Which it obviously wasn't. It was Portuguese rose. Another waitress came to help him out and explained, that wine menu online wasn't updated, as "their site was hacked " and at the moment they don't have the wine we asked. 3. Then we were waiting next 45 min to get the starter or at least bread or something. 4. In the middle of dinner(!) the waitress came and asked about the way we going to pay for the dinner. 5. At the end of the dinner when we supposed to pay, we didn't get any bill and they were expecting us to pay just like this. 6. For the price we paid I expected better food, which wasn't bad, but nothing extraordinary and definitely better service.

This place is great! Chill and cool atmosphere but the staff is also really friendly. We’ve been waited by Medeea, she really knows what she’s doing and what she’s talking about and for sure making the customer happy is her main priority! I’m not joking in saying that thanks to her a great dinner turned into a great experience! Food’s amazing and for their price it’s 100% worth it. Can’t wait to return.

The reviews of Restaurant Meille are so mixed that we arrived not knowing what to expect. We were a group of seven, and our waitress was superb. Competent, clever and gracious. The food was delicious. The restaurant is a bit funky (in a good way) and neighborhood bohemian. The whole evening rolled out as a nice evening does.....seamlessly. I'm happy to report that, for us, those bad reviews from others seemed incongruous.

I can only say - find another place, dont visit Meille. Went there yesterday and its was one big chaos - bad service, to little food, wine from the winecard did not excist, after 3,5 hours we still didnt had our dessert. Terrible place.. Michelin.. Dont think so - must be fake Check out Trustpilot as well

Booked this restaurant on the review that compared it to Noma at a fraction of a price. The wine list is overpriced - $15 a bottle was sold to the customer at least for $100. The 4-course menu consisted of presentation of 4 slices of cucumber, 1 thinly sliced radish with 4 slices of half of scallop, quarter of chicken breast with 2 stalks of asparagus and 2 thinly sliced strawberries with the ice cream. This minimalistic overpriced dinner didn't impressed or made the evening special, but more than that - we left with the feeling why did we come there. Simply nothing special

Waiter there was exceptional, food was very good, interior is quirky. Reason why I will not remember this restaurant is because it was really hot inside. Ok your AC is broken, then provide some fans. International visitors take note, predominantly food is salty in Denmark, so ask in advance if you want less salty food

I ate here with a colleague. We found the restaurant after a web search but could only get a table at 20.45. The wait was more than rewarded. The food was amazing - Michelin star quality for a reasonable price. So many surprising flavours, each dish complimenting its predecessor perfectly. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. Prompt and polite.

A very tasteful fixed menu and interesting wines inclusive the dessert wine. Small portions though.
It would have been perfect if the servings were hot and not some kind of warm.
A note about the music: It didn’t matched the surroundings and a Michelin recommendation.
A big disappointment
Very disappointing. The staff was absolutely unengaged, arrogant and looked very bored and fed up with everything what was happening there. They had no idea what there were serving to us and not even once trying to introduce the dishes.
The food was really good but it can’t save the poor service and terrible experience.
The wine was served to us in a hot & dripping wet glasses and allergy that we communicated before and after arrival was ignored and served to the table anyways.
However, what was important to the staff was playing and singing 90 pop that totally didn’t go with dining.
All in all the 2 stars are only for food and nothing else. Sorry for the chefs that put so much effort to create great food that is not appreciated due to everything else that is not working in this restaurant.
