The pool was a big disappointment we will never be back.
1. 75% of the chairs are for private rental over priced. No one had chairs to sits unless they've paid. 2. There was no sign to where or price on rental even if you did wanted to rent one . Wasn't easy or convenient . 3. They won't let you bring in water bottles and expect you to pay for over price drinks $35 for a virgin piña colada and rum runner. Run runner was so bad my friend had to return and ask for another drink. The room was a few more flaws door to bathroom had my friend stuck in it for over 20 minutes had to call maintenance to get her out. The fan in her room wasn't working she had to call maintenance's. Won't be back. I'll make sure all my friends and family know about this location. -- No they did not allow me to bring in my water bottle from the room. So maybe you should check and train your employees about what water bottle is allowed.and animals safety? You had waiters pool boy serving people by the pool with food and slushy , beers etc what animal safety are you talking about. Just admit it's price gouging

Imagine deciding on a spontaneous weekend getaway to Margaritaville Resort in Orlando, only to find yourself starring in an episode of "Survivor: Hotel Edition." As co-owners of large businesses in the entertainment and hospitality industry, my business partner and I have a certain expectation of service, one that Margaritaville spectacularly failed to meet. Our adventure began when my business partner arrived at the resort. Anticipating a quick freshen-up and a dive into leisure, he instead walked into a sauna masquerading as a hotel room. The air conditioning was a no-show, much like the management would later prove to be. After two sweltering hours and a series of false assurances, the verdict was dropped: the air conditioning was beyond resurrection. But the plot thickens. An hour of lobby loitering later, swimsuit-clad and suitcase-burdened, an "upgrade" to a cottage was dangled before us like a mirage. This mirage, however, led us not to an oasis but to the wrong cottage, and finally, to a critter-infested cabin in the furthest reaches of the resort. Yes, cockroaches included. You'd think that was the worst of it, but no. The next morning—Mother's Day, no less—promised redemption with a poolside cabana rental. But alas, placed between two symphonies of sobbing infants, our relaxation was short-lived. Overcast skies left multiple cabanas vacant, yet requests to switch were denied with a flippant "no." (The child that was snarky and talking to us like we were idiots was 5'4" with frosted tips and thought this was hilarious... Remember this for later). Attempts to salvage the day by retreating were met with "no refunds" and the revelation that no manager was available because, surprise, it's Mother's Day. Frustrated, we approached the front desk, where a lack of management was confirmed, only for a supervisor to magically appear after further pressing—The young man from the pool area (Frosty tip!) with the authority of a hall monitor and the customer service skills to match. As if this weren't enough, the weekend was peppered with rude taxi drivers and a loose dog ensemble, adding a touch of chaos to our already tumultuous stay. By the end, not only was no compensation offered, but the sheer lack of empathy and professionalism also left us resolving to handle our grievances through our banks. In conclusion, my request is simple: I would like to apply for the GENERAL MANAGER position at Margaritaville. It's evident there's no SOP for customer service, so really, how hard could it be? Thank you for a Mother's Day filled with more plot twists than a telenovela, and for an experience that was anything but relaxing.
Great massage therapist at the Spa
I visited the Spa during my stay at Margaritaville Resort Orlando and I have to say Maria was the best massage therapist I’ve had in a long time. The massage itself was tailored to my specific needs, and I could feel the tension melting away with each expertly executed technique. Maria showed great professionalism and attentiveness throughout the session, ensuring that I was comfortable and at ease. Great staff, great service. Highly recommended.
Winter trip
Margaritaville resorts never disappoint! The island vibe is fabulous. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Balcony was a great feature and views from the hotel were phenomenal. Pool areas are terrific. The hotel was mostly empty and we had our choice of lounge chairs at the beach pool. This hotel is within walking distance to restaurants and shops and Sunset Walk. Sunset Walk was a fun place to eat dinner, walk around and people watch. There was live music and we even got to see the Radio Margaritaville recording studio.

I go to Orlando a lot I seen high-end resorts I figured I'll try out Margaritaville. they nickel and dime you to debt when you purchase a drink they automatically add a tip into it. there is no music. All they have is a guitar player that was the entertainment for the night. I went down to the dining room for breakfast. They told me the grill is broke. Come back later. I went next to the fast food place next-door and got a sandwich to an hour and a half later ice they said the grill is working I think that is crazy. I fell down the steps hurt my knee. I went to the front desk to report it. They made a report the next day thinking that the manager will call you to see if you're dead or alive. Nobody ever called. I am handicap when I checked in they asked me if I wanted to valet the car. I said yes they don't tell me there's a $35 charge on valet I went to a lot of resource in Orlando never charge your handicap, free parking and a park for you. They wanted me a walk with a parking lot is or take their bus to pick me up. I couldn't believe that. I went to the dining room at night and I ordered the soup on your soup. They come out with a teaspoon instead of a tablespoon I asked do you have a soup spoon they said no I couldn't believe that she's give me a man excuses on this year I would never recommend this place to anybody when you go to the pool you're not allowed to bring any drinks or food into the pool. You gotta purchase everything on pool premises they nickel and dime to death.

Refused to remove false charges to my credit card
I highly recommend not staying at this resort. I stayed here for a work conference trip on the location in February of 2024. I noticed at the end of March that on my work expense report the following month that I still had a $250.00 hold on my work credit card. I called the resort who couldn't find my stay because they had misspelled my name. Eventually, they did located it and proceeded to tell me that the $250 was not the security hold, but a fine for smoking in my room. As I am not a smoker and no one else was in my room but myself and their employees I told them this was an error. The manager agreed to take off the charge and I left the call feeling satisfied. As I was doing my April expense report I noticed the charge was still there. I called again and eventually spoke with the front desk manager. She said again that the charge was for smoking and informed me that they have air quality monitors in all of the rooms and the one in mine indicated that air quality changed for a specific time period. I again informed her that I do not smoke and was staying there with a health and wellbeing conference where none of us smoked. Their stance was that the monitors are unable to make mistakes and they somehow do not even have the ability to refund charges they make to credit cards. Also, that I as the customer have no avenue to even dispute the charges and my only option was to have my credit card company dispute the charge as fraud and pursue them with legal means to get their money back. As an employee of a medical health company I was not going to call HR and have them contact our Amex account to dispute smoking charges so was left with no option but to pay for this charge out of my own pocket. If you are considering staying at this resort or hosting a conference, meeting, wedding, etc. know that you or your guests may be hit with false charges by the hotel where they will have no course of action to dispute or recoup the charges aside from convincing their credit card company to sue a huge corporation. Definitely not my idea of a paradise vacation destination...

Scott and the entire team did a fabulous job with our program. Provisions is a great addition to the facility. Retail shop prices were reasonable. Nice selection. The restaurant on the lobby level was clean. Friendly and engaging staff. I had the Mahi Mahi sandwhich and it was very well prepared and delicious. Banquets did a phenomenal job. Front desk and Valet were very welcoming. Great Job Team Margaritaville!
Totally ruined our staycation this weekend, the customer
Totally ruined our staycation this weekend, the customer service at this resort really needs improvement. We had a very small issue entering the pool with the attendant instead of just apologizing he kept antagonizing us, being very argumentative and disrespectful. We spoke to the manager Joel, to be honest he was polite but offered no solution. The door man who stated his name was Rodney, was so disrespectful it set the mood for our entire evening there we didn't even stay in the resort we are locals who wanted to enjoy the pool and spa so we rented a room we where not going to stay in so that we can rent a cabana and enjoy the spa for the day we literally spent well over $1200 to get that kind of service, I prefer to take my money to a Hilton or another name hotel because this was not worth the service. Extremely disappointing, Margaritaville you must do better.
Pay for shade
It’s an absolute no go to ask for money for shade at the pool. The poolside has a few “first come first serve” umbrellas. The rest is upon reservation together with the cabana Basically the resort charges 140$ for sunbeds with shade. That’s a No Go
Worst resort I’ve ever stayed at! ( I never wrote bad reviews)
Even though they compensated us.. (for 2 days out of 5) I didn’t realize we would never have air conditioning (not good when it’s 80s and 90s out.) Our room wasn’t set up for 6 people, housekeeping didn’t come when we set the light for them to do so. We weren’t getting any sleep(hot rooms) and doing the Disney parks were bad enough .. Then right outside our room that works on a huge tent early in the morning.. then midnight then again early in the morning. Like we just didn’t count at all. We went in small front pool and realized there was duck poop allover the bottom.. (after we seen ducks floating on it.) The only thing we enjoyed was our pool day and cabana. Other than that we could have stayed at a cheap hotel. There were more rude things than I wrote here.. We were very excited to finally stay her for my granddaughter’s birthday trip but this was truly the worst resort we ever stayed at. And honestly I have never written a C bad review for any thing online.
Fabulous place to stay in florida
Loved the place. Beautiful safe surroundings. Will definitely go again. You can walk around the site with no problems. Homes have great aircon and are nice and clean.loved it.

Great place, rented out a cottage everything was awesome except we called in to see if we can get clean towels and was told someone was going to drop them off, towels never arrived. Our grill wouldn't turn on which we paid the amount to have a grill. Very limited to food delivery and overpriced. Make sure you rent a car to get around. Rented a van to pick us up from and to the airport through a third party that margaritaville suggested and that was a disaster, first person who picked us up wanted a tip after we paid over $300, the next person that dropped us off at the airport said the amount was never paid until I showed him my bank statement where they had taken that money already and he got mad and still argued. What a scam. Time share does get annoying when you come in and out of the front entrance.

Margaritaville-Orlando, I have always been wanting to stay here since Day 1 of their opening, but never had a chance. It's a nice looking resort. This year, we had a chance to do so. The family and I rented a villa via Airbnb, which is located within the Margaritaville resort. What can I say? It's like a home away from home during our Spring Break. It felt like you're living in a different community. And the villas are no cookie cutters. They are all painted different colors with nice design. Villa had his own type of character to it. Although we didn't get a chance to check out the amenities within the resort, the best part is we are in Orlando. There is just so much to do. There was so much places to check out and visit either within walking distance or by driving distance. Would stay here again? I will definitely will. See you again next year Margaritaville.

I have done so already! Beware of this place. They will add additional charges to your bill with no explanation and there's nothing you can do about it. Charged me an extra $250 for a smoking in the room fee. I don't even smoke and had my kids with me for my son's 6th birthday! They say the sensor was set off when we were gone on THEIR shuttle to Epcot and they refuse to check the cameras. Called everyday for a week being told it would be fixed just to receive an email saying they are keeping our money and to go dispute the charge with my CC company. The sales people at the front are annoying. They get u every time you come and go. DONT MAKE EYE CONTACT. Automatic 20% tips at the fish house made for horrible service. We got forgotten about many times. Both kids meals were burnt both times. As a former server myself, it was such a relief to eat at Disney where the servers WORKED for tips and in turn get way more than 20%. I booked a room for 4 people and got 2 wash cloths. I asked for more wash clothes and 4 hours later got towels. The beds required a step ladder that was not provided so we had to climb on chairs. The sheets had stains and elastic that wouldn't stay. The AC was touchy with no heat/cool settings. If u bump up the AC up, the heat comes on. Everything was way over priced for the average quality, even if we didn't get an additional charge. They were completely dead and hurting for money. DONT FALL FOR THE TRAP. We will be sticking with hiltons amazing lazy river from now on!
Resort has beautiful grounds, stayed in cottages.
House and pool well maintained with all amenities. Staff were friendly and attentive. Family friendly environment. Clean and spacious. Clarissa and Sean at the lone palm bar were amazing, they went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome and made our vacation experience by the resort pool!
