Great local restaurant bar with tasty cocktails and breakfast is fantastic. With the new happy hour through most of the week, it's got a lot to offer the neighbourhood.

A welcome addition to the neighbourhood and definitely worth checking out. Great food and interesting cocktails. But probably a little overpriced.

I had a chance to eat brunch at Louie Louie with my friend the very first weekend they were serving it! First of all, Louie Louie was super busy, despite us arriving reasonably early (11am), though this might be some of the hype.I had a Bloody Mary and some tea to start. The Bloody Mary was flavorful, but had lots of ice which meant that it watered down quite quickly unfortunately. For starters we had the spiced chickpeas and aubergine as well as the fennel and avocado. The chickpeas and aubergine definitely stood out more, particularly the very flavorful labneh and olive oil that it came with - absolutely delightful! We had a small hitch where our dessert came out early and our fennel starter went missing, but this was eventually cleared up. Perhaps there's some rhythm to get into as they're just recently opened, but regardless the service was very friendly! For the main we shared the 'sharing eggs' with the tomato, chard, and feta base with some chorizo on top. It was a great portion size for two people and it was delicious! Reminded me a bit of shakshuka, which is a personal favorite. Finally we had some dessert where we tried both the apple scone and the ricotta pancakes. The pancakes were fantastic but the carmelised oranges that it came with were far too tart for my liking. The craime fraiche was great too! The scone was unfortunately pretty uninspiring. No great fluffiness nor great apple taste, and I can't say the apple and damson were a great coupling.Overall, I'd definitely come back, even if just for the eggs!
