Our family of three is seated promptly during lunch time on a busy Sunday afternoon with great views of the harbor. Our fish and chips and fish tacos are cooked and seasoned to perfection. Servers are great!

We started our night at Happy Hour at Lobsterville with Prosecco, Oysters and a beautiful sunset over the marina. It turned into more Prosecco and dinner since we had to try the Lobster rolls. They were delicious. It was perfect. The bar is a great open air area with waterviews.

Lunch upon arrival at Marthaโs Vineyard was delicious and fun. Staff was inviting and engaging. Lobster was amazing. Oysters and mussels were fantastic. Bang bang shrimp was incredible.
Be the first to ReplyNot satisfied with seafood linguini (but order the lobster risotto!)
June 2021 visit. We (grp of 5) got honeysuckle oysters, mussels mariniere, fish & chips, ocean linguini, and lobster risotto. they said they had a different variety of oysters being served on the island, which tasted a bit sweeter - it was true, good oysters! Probably the best we ate in all of our New England vacation. We didn't really enjoy the seafood linguini since it seemed like the sauce was too watery (seemed more like soup and it was overflowing on the dish). The lobster risotto was arguably the best dish we tried from this place and that dish alone was good and memorable. We had fun talking with the servers who were Serbian. Unfortunately, compared with the other places we ate at New England (and considering price-quality ratio), this won't make it to our favorites all in all.

We had a delicious dinner at this restaurant, overlooking the bay. Oysters, Mussels and Lobsters were all fresh. The servers were fun, relaxed and provided excellent service throughout the meal. Special shout-out to Peter - the server who made our dining experience enjoyable.

like the name says, Lobsterville is the place for lobster! We got the lobster rolls, and they were delicious!
Be the first to ReplyThe Chef came up and told us to "Go F**K Ourselves"
We were in MV for 2 friends birthdays, and after a few recommendations we decided to have the birthday dinner at Lobsterville. HUGE MISTAKE. At 8:15 upon arrival we were told that we were the last table of the night, which we initially thought was odd to tell us but at the time didn't pay attention to it.
We ordered a round of appetizers (which never came out), and then ordered the "Chef's Special" which was highly recommend by our server. The special was a Rare sesame encrusted grilled wild caught tuna steak. What came out was not that at all. It looked like a can of tuna fish molded into a patty and put on a plate. We asked our server if this was indeed the special he was recommending and he said it was, but should not have looked like that. He wanted to get us something else, but we kindly passed. He then took one of the specials away.
What happened next was very disheartening.
10 Minutes later, we heard someone yelling on the other side of the restaurant behind us, then they walked away...then he came over to us yelling. He said, and I am quoting exactly: "Why don't you go F**K yourselves! You don't know what good seafood is. You're used to your antibiotic filled bullsh*t. Go F**K yourselves!"
Obviously we stood right up and left. On the way out, our server seemed shocked that we were leaving, and proceeded to apologize for the chef telling us that he was drunk and had been drinking since 8am.
Worst experience at any restaurant ever.
Great Spot on the Pier
Had a great meal at Lobsterville. Its on the pier but down a little from the craziness near Nancys. Food was excellent, staff was great and we had a great view of the harbor. Highly recommended

The lobster roll was huge, fresh and delicious for a standard price. Great harbor view, although internal atmosphere is just a shack. Good service. Only complaint was the kettle chips, which were chewy (stale?) rather than crispy. We would go back.
Be the first to ReplyNice surprise.
Tucked away close to where the Hyline comes in, Lobsterville is a little hidden gem. Itโs kind of dumpy and small but the food - especially the shrimp tacos - exceptional. I have to say the service matched the food, friendly, fast and efficient. I love quick in and out when time is limited and we were only on the island for a few hours. Sides are all $4+ extra - imo - not really worth it.
