Quality top, price/performance questionable
You sit dignified and comfortable. Service from the boss is personal, friendly, even a short conversation is possible. The other service staff are also comme il faut. Some of the food was excellent, the char in crustacean sauce was a poem. The starter with wafer-thin porchetta and salad was also a nice opening. The main course (veal fillet), on the other hand, was “only” good; a bolder seasoning would have done it good. The crême brûlée for dessert was perfect, the mango that came with it probably came from a can, that shouldn't happen. So everything is good? Unfortunately the price/performance ratio is not right (anymore). The drinks were the main draw: 1 glass of Spanish red wine: €16, 1 bottle of water €8.90, 1 glass of Prosecco €14.50: That adds up quickly. 320 € for 2 people is already a word, but I get significantly more in the surrounding area. Well, it's Munich, so you can always have a little more.

After a few visits for lunch, I now "dared" to have dinner - and I didn't regret it. In a nutshell: it was absolutely outstanding! Celery soup and tramezini as appetizers; duck breast; char; dumplings with Duroc and scampi filling; saddle of venison; mocha slices. Outstanding! Very good wine accompaniment, very good service. An extraordinarily pleasant evening!

Be the first to ReplyGourmet restaurant in the heart of Munich
A nice, small, fine gourmet restaurant in the heart of Munich without a Michelin star. We had a 4-course menu with an option for a further 3 courses and were all overwhelmed by the attentive service of Robert Innerhofer's team, the cozy ambience and, above all, the artistic dishes of chef Johann Landersdorfer. Whether fish, pasta, veal or dessert, all courses were perfectly prepared and served extremely tastefully, a masterpiece.
Be the first to ReplyVery good food, but overpriced
Having been to the restaurant a couple of years ago, we were again fully satisfied with the quality of the food and service. However, the prices are out of proportion. The 4 course surprise menu was good, but far from being worth 112 Euros. In addition, we had a delicious, but very small portion of salmon sashimi which came at 36 Euros. Including two glasses of champagne, three glasses of wine and water, we spent over 350 Euros plus tip. The prices are clearly well within Michelin star territory while the food is not. The day after, we had dinner at another restaurant at half the cost, with at least the same quality.

Excellent food, outstanding wine list and unbeatable service! Many thanks to the owners Johann Landersdorfer and Robert Innerhofer! It is always a great experience!
Be the first to ReplyGreat Special Occasion Restaurant
Had an amazing special occasion dinner here. Don't be put off by the lack of a menu. You are in very capable hands. The wine list is impressive. If I could do it again I would do their wine paring rather than trying to choose myself because I am not super familiar with German and Austrian wines.
