Fantastic Meal in La pergola. The Carbonara was excellent. We were served by Rayees who couldn't of been more attentive. He was very friendly and helped us decide what to have. Would highly recommend this place is you want excellent Italian food with service to match.

Best momment with good dinner
We had a good memory here as we celebrate my wife’s birthday. Meals were delicious and Sai,Reyes,Sherly and Joseph were so kind and helpful. They are all making us an unforgettable moments. Cladia has also good at traverse flute and our dinner was delicious wit here musics.
FIne Dining at Mamma Mia Pasta & Pizza Night (Sunday) but Beware of the Terms of the Offer
I cannot truly fault the chef. Arabiatta penne and vongole linguini pasta were very good so much so that I ordered a second plate of the vongole pasta (although my request to the chef to add less salt was either not conveyed or not respected -- a minor faux pas). Not sure why the clams could not be deshelled by the chef. I had to use a flashlight to find the clams and remove the shells of each when digging inside the pasta. Not cataclysmic but you can get your hands a bit sticky. My only real issue was with the promotion on Sunday night, which on facebook was promoted as an all you can eat event. Hence, when I ordered I ordered not by plate but by gram. I ordered vongole pasta 300 grams and arabiatta 300 grams and a second plate of 300 grams of the former. I did so because I did not want to waste any pasta. Ordering that way only makes sense when the patron is ordering on the basis of "all-you-can-eat;" and this should have been obvious. Any waiter ought to have asked, had he thought I was ordering a la carte, why on earth I would order by the gram -- it is not possible, only by the plate. You can see the advertisement of the promotion "Mamma Mia Nights" on facebook as well as the Special Pasta & Pizza menu at La Pergola. According to the menu, it states "Choose your favorite pasta ... and pair it with your favorite sauce;" it does not say that you must pair it with your favorite pizza. Yet, if you do not order a pizza for every pasta, you are denied the promotion and pay for all ala carte! You can imagine how discomfitted I was when I was expecting a bill for BD15 and it came out to BD45 -- and that was after a Gulf membership discount of 25%. Imagine being at "Surf and Turf" Night at the Meridien and you are presented a bill of a la carte prices because you only ate seafood without pairing the seafood with meat dishes! After I had eaten and ordered, Giuseppe, in response to my dispute as to the bill I was presented, insisted that the "Pasta & Pizza Night" offers a prix fixe menu with each element fixed but the words "prix fixe" do not appear on the menu, which also lacked any specific ordering instructions for eligibility for the promotion. Indeed, I wasa motivated to partake of the promotion when, on the previous Thursday, he showed me the menu in response to my question about the availability of pasta vongole. I would strongly suggest that, in the future, when there is some kind of promotion of an offer, that the guest be directly asked if he intends to avail of it and, if the answer is positive, that the waiter explain all the rules of the promotion. (Good practice suggests that the promotional menu, printed on an A4 sheet, should be placed on each table everyday of the promotion ) When, in contrast, there is the "Sushi Mania" event once a month at Sato, guests, for instance, are specifically told that quantities are unlimited but exclude, whatever, eel, yellowtail and scallop (as the case may be). Guests are told the rules upfront. If Giuseppe and his management team were to run the Sato promotion, they would insist that for each sake or maguro sushi you must order one ika or hata sushi; and since you did not, SATO will charge you a la carte for all. Instead of BD15 you must pay BD50)) LOL! None of this criticism ought to be interpreted against the quality and preparation of the pasta -- it was first rate. Service is generally excellent and La Pergola is a fine venue -- most likely the best restaurant for Italian cuisine in Bahrain. Just be sure to confirm any value proposition putatively on offer before ordering to avert any discomfiture upon presentation of the bill. (Using a flashlight or using your phone as a flashlight would also be expedient to facilitate reading the menu in the dimly-lit dining room.)
BEST ITALIAN FOOD AND SERVICE
This spot is amazing! Their Italian food is really good and their focus on the quality of the food and service impeccable. Thank you to Melissa, sai, Rayees and Joseph for their spectacular service!! I would highly recommend trying their tiramisu and pastas.

Might be an excellent Italian restaurant but absolutely not for pizza
First time. I had the “pork” pizza. Disaster. So oily. Second time. I ordered “burrata” pizza. They serve you a “mozzarella” pizza. So hopefully they have other better dishes ( pasta, lasagna, …).

An amazing spot for italian, used to be a great spot for food only, and now they added an amazing saxophone segment. Special thanks to Rayees, Sheryl and Sai. - I ordered an off menu Creamy Truffle Rissotto and the chef made it great. Highely recommended!

If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered? |
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
Major Issue for Seller
My money is being held hostage! Can you please remove my refund medal as I am below the 11% threshold and should be able to withdraw my full daily amount now? I have been teying for a long time to get a reply on this. Major issue for people looking to do good/right like you ask and make positive sales. Being able to access earned revenue is critical and not getting any reply is very concerning for your sellers. Lot of other people having the same issue. Once below the threshold you should auto remove the warning medals.

Just wanted to put this out there as I find it quite weird. AT will hold money if your sell through rate is to low. I find this strange as you would think that sell through rate should reflect more on AT not marketing their site well enough to generate sales. It seems weird to punish sellers for listings not selling.

I accepted a bid for a popular restaurant in Los Angeles only to receive a phone call shortly thereafter informing me that the reservation had been canceled due to it being listed on AT. I of course need to subsequently cancel the reservation on AT but get this warning that my status will be negatively affected for doing so. I am having a tough time contacting and elucidating a response from AT Support. I had a listing at 6pm, which was a mistake as the actual listing reservation was at 11pm. This got somehow approved by AT, and a customer bought this from me for 6pm. I want to cancel this listing and refund customer , but there is no way of doing this ! Banned from Resy for selling reservations- Do we have a rat on our hands???
I am new to this app and started off by selling a polo bar reservation and then quickly sold one more reservation. Not long after I received emails from Resy saying all my reservations are cancelled and I am being banned from Resy for life. How could this have possibly happened without a rat telling Resy that I sold the reservation. I need some advice on this situation and let’s catch the rat!

You can only deposit $50 at a time until you earn the “Sales and Low Refund Medal” I believe. Im new to this as well but the ability to deposit more money at once and increase your amount of listings comes with that medal.
