I've been here twice now, and both times were 5/5 stars.
Reservations are hard to come by, especially for prime time, but if you can plan in advance, it's worth it. I love the decor and vibes...moody, eccentric, cozy, and a fun throwback to the old Hollywood days. I highly recommend the shrimp fra diavola, bucatini al limoni, and branzino picatta. If you're with a larger party, don't skip the tableside caesar and veal parmigiana. Great drinks, friendly staff and servers, good times!

So this was the second time here, and it really is quite special. The price is for sure high, but the quality of food and service and most outstanding, the ambiance, is just so worth it for the price. Dont expect some mid range italian, its not, its fancy and it comes at a cost, but if you are prepared for that experience, its a lovely one. Good luck getting a res, use the res system waitlist, people cancel their standing res's sometimes. Or just go eat early or late and make friends with the hostess, they are all lovely people.
Be the first to ReplyService was deplorable.
Food is pretty bad, Signature pasta is disgusting. Sat with dirty plates, no silverware. Food came out at different times Interesting story about the place, Overall really poor experience, disgusting food. Bucatini was inedible cold, greasy

I ate at this place with a group of six and we had the best time. We started at the bar while we waited for our table. The drinks were amazing! The decor is beautiful! When we sat for dinner, the waiters were so helpful and attentive. The appetizers, pastas, entrees, and desserts were all delicious, the next better than the last. I love this place and highly recommend it! Quality Italian food, amazing drinks, great service, impeccable vibes!

Amazing martinis, ambience, and service!! Feels like you teleport into another era as soon as you walk in. The Bucatini Al Limoni is a must
Be the first to ReplyNo need to valet.
Park in the nearby lot. Staff is very kind and helpful. I highly recommend getting a reservation which can be tough. It is a small romantic restaurant. Pricey with good portions but not impressive despite trying a variety of items including the Caesar salad, lemon pasta, manicotti, and branzino. The best item is the free bread. Unlikely to return

Got a late resy on a rainy Friday night with another couple to finally try this Beverly Hills Italian gem. Upon entering, the space is tight but the hostess got us checked in and directed us to the bar to grab some drinks while they got our booth ready. I ordered a filthy martini which was perfectly made and my Fiancé got a Peroni. The bar fits 6 people so not somewhere I'd stay at for much longer than a waiting period. 20 minutes later we were directed to our booth where there was a plaque that read "Reagans". They greeted our table with a complimentary drink and some bread with 3 condiments. The restaurant itself is small and dark with a very simplified and short menu. We ordered their octopus, tuna tartare and tableside caesar to start. Followed by their lemon bucatini(a must!) and steak. We finished it off with a spumoni ice cream and an espresso pudding which was super decadent! All in all, would return for the caesar and bucatini! Would recommend coming with a buffer of time as they do tend to take a while(30-40 minutes) in between courses.

Went to this lovely restaurant with a group of great friends and let me just say what a wonderful evening we had. From the charming ambience to the delicious food, it was perfection! I'll definitely be going back!
Be the first to ReplyThe food here was very, very good.
The table side Caesar salad was delicious. Shrimp fra Diavlo had an amazing sauce and the shrimp were big and cooked perfectly. We thought the veal parm was the best we ever had! It was a huge portion even for 2. Friendly service. The ambiance is very cozy, but it smelled a little funky when we walked in - not sure what it was. Overall, highly recommend! A great meal.
Be the first to ReplyThe redid it after years being g closed.
Such good food and they kept the interior almost original with like updates. Highly recommend!!!

It's like stepping back in time. Highly recommend a visit. We loved everything we ordered!
Be the first to ReplyOld school ambiance with great service.
Pastas are really good as well as Cesar salad. Like their house made pesto very much too
Be the first to ReplyThe food is very good.
Beautiful ambiance, exceptional service. Lovely for a sat night or a special occasion.
Be the first to ReplyWhat a wonderful find.
The atmosphere is fantastic. The food even better. I over heard the waiter saying Frank Sinatra funded this place back in 1966. They haven't changed much.

Came here for date night and couldn't have been happier! The food was incredible, very friendly and knowledgeable wait staff and I loved the ambiance. Highly recommend
Be the first to ReplyWe just finished a meal and I was very disappointed.
After seeing the average star rating of four, I expected to be wowed by my meal. My description would be that we just had "I"talian food. AKA Olive Garden. I enjoyed our server as he was very friendly and attentive. The Decor in the restaurant was very nice. However, I cannot overlook the fact the marinara sauce seemed like it had been cooked for a very short time, when anyone who knows Italian food understands that it simmers for at least a couple of hours. It just did not have the flavor that I expect from a true Italian meal. They have been in business since 1966, but I cannot understand how that is true. I wish them good luck in their future endeavors. I won't be back.
Be the first to ReplySo happy that we selected this restaurant.
It has a great 70's LA vibe, supreme service and excellent food. Our favorite was the Arancini starter. Loved our entrees as well - spaghetti and meatballs / Chicken Marsala. We will be back the next time we are in LA!

The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was perfect, and the food was so tasty. Took my wife for a birthday dinner on Christmas Eve. Their special menu for the night was just right, we were even greeted with champagne to toast to the holiday. It was cool to eat at an iconic restaurant and not feel like it was touristy at all!
Be the first to ReplyGreat underrated restaurant with excellent service and old
Great underrated restaurant with excellent service and old Hollywood vibes. The booths are labeled with the celebrities that used to sit in them. The menu is reasonably priced although the website doesn't show prices. Food is good, a little for everyone. Great for business meetings or dates.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic!! Came here for dinner on a Saturday night.
Pros: Awesome food, I had the veal, best veal I've ever had.Excellent wait staff, very old school. Decor, really 'old Hollywood', we sat at the table the Reagans sat at.Location, right in Beverly Hills. Try the tiramasu .. I'm not a dessert guy but it was the most amazing tiramasu I've ever had. Cons:None I can think of.
Be the first to ReplyThe staff was friendly and the service was perfectly
The staff was friendly and the service was perfectly adequate. The food, on the other hand, was unforgivable. Granted, I did not come here expecting a brilliant and creative meal. I came for the ambience and a readiness to settle for basic, down-home, red sauce-centric Italian food. My expectation, though, given that the food prices are equivalent to those at such restaurants as Republique, Felix, Lucques, etc. was that I would eat food that was prepared well and with care, made with ingredients that were fresh and perhaps sourced locally. Unfortunately, what we ended up with was culinary mediocrity. The lettuce in the chopped salad was not chopped, but macerated and rendered utterly tasteless by the preponderance of what tasted like oscar mayer bologna, cubed into oblivion. The steak I had was over salted and rubbery, probably as a result of poor sourcing and the likelihood that it had been frozen since Trump's inauguration and only thawed out that morning. I won't even get into the cheese cake. I am sorry. I am getting a bit snarky, but like you and everyone else in the world I work hard for my money and that $230 (without wine) that my wife and I spent on this dinner could have gone toward a meal that actually tasted like food. Instead that money went down the drain. Unless this place gets it act together on the culinary front I recommend that you steer clear.
