Love those guys
Oh my goodness I had such a s ball @ Jazz Tx. Beautiful venue with lovely service but the best part of the night was the band. Adam Carillo & his band mates were simply amazing. These guys can play anything. He was engaging & entertaining & boy can he blow! Played for an hour & a half without so much as a sip of water to drink. Wonderful evening of music.
Be the first to ReplyVery dissapointing
Hot Sardines enjoyable group. Very short show and expensive. The food was scarce and certainly not very tasty. The drinks and meal were way overpriced. Not sure if we will ever return.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful night at Jazz Texas
Doc Watkins and his band of outstanding local musicians topped any show we have ever seen in NYC. Every player on stage was top notch and played with skill and musicianship. Doc held the interest of his audience with a of variety musical selections and humor. His piano solos were over the top! We look forward to our next visit soon .

This is one of our favorite places in San Antonio. Feels more like New York than Texas. Doc Watkins and his Orchestra are incredible musicians and make it look so easy. All of the horns were out of this world. Doc makes it a very interactive and humorous night. The food, music and energy always puts a huge smile on our face. Doc and the Orchestra don't run out after the show either. Stick around and talk to them for a couple of minutes. They are all awesome. Great place.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic night
This was an excellent show from start to finish, very smooth. Venue is lovely with a fantastic vibe and ambience. Staff are super attentive and its very clean with a nice drinks selection and food, we ordered the cherry cobbler which was delicious. Benny was a superb host with amazing musical and vocal skills and everyone else in the band was first class. I would definitely come back and also recommend. Worth every penny
Be the first to ReplyBad service and inedible food
Sadly, a genuinely poor experience. Bad service, had to get up and fetch our condiments from the kitchen, didn't see waitress for about 25 min after food was dropped on our table by a busboy. The food was inedible, really shocking given our history here, where the service and food used to be top notch. We sent the food back largely uneaten, and no one seemed to care. After we paid our $135 bill, we headed to the nearest Whataburger and enjoyed a tasty meal
Be the first to ReplyGreat music!!
Great music, ambiance and service. We enjoyed the performance and time at Jazz TX. The only drawback is the location is difficult for non-local at night, we had to ask around a few people to get there.

Fabulous ambience and location. Very classy. Excellent music, of course. Great food and selection of cocktails. My husband and I love this place. It's perfect for date nights. John Pizzarelli played last night and it was one of our favorite shows. A fun and romantic vibe. Did I mention their pecan pie? To die for.
Be the first to ReplyTruly Awful Experience
We told them we were going to eat a one of the amazing restaurants nearby in the Pearl district instead of their dingy basement. We bought tickets to a jazz show not a dinner, so we thought what is the big deal? When we arrived they told us our tickets, that we paid for in advance, in full, which were pricey, were sold to someone else. Absolutely dreadful customer service. This is no way to run an establishment and I really hope no one else has to go through the horrible experience of dealing with these shysters.
Be the first to ReplyFound a medal screw in the Stuffed Bellas
My wife & I are from out of town and it was recommend by our concierge. We went last Tuesday night 4/19/22. The music, atmosphere, hostess & server experience were wonderful. The food was amazing with the exception of the STUFFED BELLAS | 10 - Portabella, creamed spinach, provolone, monterey jack, wilted greens, marcona almond .....her plate came with a 'medal screw' of which my wife almost bit down before realizing. As you can imagine, this was upsetting but we didn't want to interupt the music so we quietly told our server (who told the Manager). At the end of the Jazz set, since the Manger did not come to our table - I went to the kitchen to find him. However, when I told the Manager, Jake, that my wife had found a "screw" - yes, I did mean to say 'screw" - I was told by him that they did not find any louse screws in the kitchen - so without saying it out loud - implicated we were making it up. He asked if he should apologize to my wife and I said yes - we waited for 15 minutes and he never came over so we left. I never asked for anything comp. It was not even finding the 'screw' that I am rating this experience Terrible - it is about the way - the Jake - the Manager handled it. I will be contacting the health department as we have pictures.. This was not a fly or hair in the food but a piece of medal.
