Awesome Dinner
Very pleasant host at the entrance and took his time to explain the menu. Salad arrives promptly before our main, awesome. So does the both mains. Thank you very much for an excellent service
Be the first to ReplyTourist trap scam, do not go!!!!!
We ordered a mixed grill shish and only got one skewer. The mixed grill for 2 people only feeds half a person. They said it came with salad, and then charged us $16 for it ??? The chicken was not nice and dry. Drinks are over $10. The staff were horrible and rude to each other and swearing. Very bad experience, would not recommend. I would go to a hawker centre instead
Be the first to ReplyAVOID !
1) They are more interested in getting you seated BUT no one takes your order ! 2) The table place mats were soggy and filthy 3) After waiting for very long, we had to walk around to find for a staff to place our order. 4) I placed an order for Vanilla Ice Cream. And after almost 20 mins, the staff came with chocolate ice cream and left it on my table. And very politely, i told him that i had ordered Vanilla ice cream. He just shrugged his shoulders as if it was none of his business and said "we dont have vanilla ice cream" Shouldnt they inform us is they dont have something which is on the menu instead of replacing the item without asking us ? What kind of horrible service is this ?!

Horrible service. Ordered items and never received one. They tried to switch one out with another meat without telling us. If you’re thinking of going here, don’t! It’s a tourist trap
Be the first to ReplyStaff is absolute disaster
Food is ok but staff are ignorant and not interested in guests.
They have little to none understanding of Turkish cuisine.
Will go smoking, chatting, doing anything but not bringing your order or bill.
Terrible experience, will never visit again.
Strongly not recommend.
HORRIBLE FOOD HORRIBLE SERVICE
Dined in at about 8pm and our food took about an hour to arrive. The chicken was super dry, it was almost impossible to even chew it. We ordered 2 dessert - Kunefe and Baklava and we didn't even ask the desserts to be served yet they serve the Kunefe when we were still eating. We canceled the Baklava because it still didn't arrive at 10pm. Disappointing, the food wasn't only terrible because the service was also extremely atrocious. Raised our hand a few times to get their attention and even called out to them but they ignored us numerous times. Disgusting, WILL NEVER EVER COME BACK HERE EVER AGAIN

Great food with good friendly service. Lamb pide was delicious, waiter offered us free chai each as well, prices ranging $20-35 for main courses.

Ambience and Service is good but the food quality is bad as per price. The restaurant should take charge of improving the quality of the food with various options available easily there.

Be the first to ReplyCreepy Arab Man Scammed Us
Greetings my fellow falafel enthusiasts. Recently, a group of my homies and I decided to visit the very cool Mosque at the end of Arab Street. It was around lunch time so we decided to look for a place to eat before we continued with our tour. I, a person who enjoys falafels, decided to look at Istanbul Turkish Restaurant's menu... except I didn't. A very creepy Arab restaurant greeter yelled at me from across the street to look at the menu. It was quite appealing, they had falafels, and I was sold. But, my friends wanted to look for other places, so I told the guy to wait and I might return. We found a much cheaper place down the road which sold a many of the things Istanbul Turkish Restaurant sold but costing significantly less money. Some of my friends still wanted to go to Istanbul Turkish Restaurant so we decided to play a small game of Ini-Mini-Mini-Mo. We did this out in the open, which was our first mistake as the creepy Arab man saw us quite clearly. We landed on the other restaurant and as soon as he saw us walking that way he yelled these terrifying words: "Ay Bro! Welcome back, we have a table for you". He basically guilt tripped us into eating at his restaurant. Me and my friends, who were visibly uncomfortable were lead by this dude into the shadiest seating location ever. We ordered around 11:50 yet our food did not arrive till 12:40. Whenever I were to ask one of the other servers why it was taking so long, they would look genuinely pissed and would impatiently ask me to be patient. The food was of very poor quality, the Falafel, I'm afraid, tasted like cardboard. Once we were done, we realized how much of a rip-off this place was. In addition to the already overpriced food, there was a hefty service fee of $18 which was ironic as it seemed like we had to do everything. There was even a mess up in the total amount as they charged us for lemonade when we didn't order any. Once we left this pigsty, the scary Arab man decided to FILM US.. WITHOUT CONCENT as we continued on our tour. He stinks, and so does the food. Don't go here.

One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in Singapore, and I’m from Singapore. Service was horrible. Expect to work very hard just to get served and wait very long for every thing. I can’t even comment on the food because we gave up waiting after over an hour.
Be the first to ReplyAbsolute rip off for average food!!
If I could leave less than 1 star I would!! The cost of my meal for one person was $80 which is ridiculous considering how completely average it was!!
The bread that came with the tiny portion of hummus was so hard and stale! The hummus was $13
The orange juice was bland and $8!!
The chips and feta filo pastry things were quite tasty but overpriced!
The worst bit was the lamp kofta main meal. It tasted ok but for $26 you get ONLY ONE kebab stick! The place around the corner is much better and is $24 for two kebab sticks!
Considering at blu kouzina you can get one lamb stick for $14.80 or three for $34.80 and the quality is just a million times better, this place is and absolute joke!!
They really shouldn’t be open still and I’m sure they just prey on the walk in tourists or drunk passers by! Me? I was an unlucky guy with his 2 year old daughter just trying to get some dinner. Hugely disappointed!!
!!AVOID!! Overpriced, they
!!AVOID!! Overpriced, they forgot one appertizier and my main course, no apologies or discounts and staff was very unattentive, we witnessed other customers had similar experience

First time trying this place for dinner with family. It took very long to get seated and when some tables were finally available, the servers took forever to clear them. Generally the service for that night was absolutely BAD!
We ordered tagine which we had to wait almost 45 minutes and it still did not arrive. When we asked the server to check on it, he then told us the cook was overwhelmed with the orders and will not be preparing the tagine. He advised us to cancel this order and to pick something else from the menu.
We didn't want to make a scene and tried to be understanding so we chose something else. When the food came and we asked for 4 sets of cutlery, the server simply said "but I only have 1 set available now". He didn't bother helping us get more cutlery and took off.
My mum also ordered the baklava and it was served ice cold. It was very unpleasant and I feel that they NEED TO IMPROVE ON THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD!
The bill for this extremely bad experience amounted to $124. The food was not amazing at all and they had poor service. I don't recommend it at all!
