Indocine was one of my favourite restaurants in NYC where I went for many years when visited New York. After what’s happened last night I’ll never go back there ! Food was nice as always. Behaviour of restaurant manager was shocking and not acceptable. Service was really bad and slow. Cocktails were not tasty and it was more ice then alcohol. When we got bill 20% service charge was already added. We call manager to deduct service charge because it’s up to us how much we want to leave at the end. Manager ( he didn’t want to disclose his name ) brought a new bill telling us that we shouldn’t come back and we are ungrateful to be seated. I booked table three or more weeks in advance. And it’s a normal proceeder to get a table. What we supposed to do ? Eat on the floor? After leaving the table one of four male guest from the neighbour table said goodbye to us and we exchanged a few words. They were from milan and I use to live in Italy and speak fluent Italian. When manager saw us talking to three guys he jumped between us asking to leave restaurant and telling us he will call police if we don’t leave. Guys were speechless so we were too.! How people like that manager work in hospitality ?! I can’t even find the reason of his unfriendly , arrogant , aggressive behaviour
