Good stuff
Really good food (peking duck, salted egg shrimp, and fried fish) that has maintained stable quality for years. Room was way too cold, however.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Service And Good Food
It is a little hard to find, being tucked in a corner up on the second floor and needing to take a lift to. It overlooks the main casino floor, which is quite a sight. The restaurant itself is large but tables are rather close together. There are a lot of families with babies and they do provide baby chairs. Service is excellent and the staff always have a smile and hover around the table ever ready to change a dirty plate or top up your drink. Prices are high but the quality is good. Almost all the dishes were cooked well, tasty and well presented. Only the char siu shou and fried chicken wings were pretty ordinary in taste. We loved the crab with egg white, siuyoke and char siu, eggplant with minced pork and fried eggplant with floss, and beef kway teow.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Peking Duck
we came here for Peking Duck, it is very busy place but service is still ok lah. Food arrived quite quickly and delicious. Pricey but ok for once a while.
Be the first to ReplyWhat happened to the highly regarded brand of imperial treasure quality and service?
This is a review of the restaurant at MBS. I have great experiences with imperial treasure restaurants (great world city, paragon, previously Crowe plaza) so we came with fairly high expectations since the name of this branch says “fine Chinese”. Well, not that fine. We were initially given a table in the open, though the restaurant was very empty when we arrived before 6pm on a Friday, and we had already made prior reservation months before. So we switched to a more cubicle type of table, but that didn’t have a table cloth - which would be fine had the restaurant not proclaimed to be “fine Chinese”. The cubicle wasn’t that private anyway, which was a pity because with a bit of clever design, these cubicles could actually be partitioned off. In fact the whole setup of the tables in this restaurant was nothing to shout “fine” about; it was just like any other Chinese restaurant. My dining partner has a very sharp sense of smell and taste so he has given lots of comments in Google review, but for me I thought the food was not bad. If I were to compare against the paragon or the great world branches, this would be slightly below in standard - for instance, the daily soup here was a boring red-green carrot with pork ribs, a soup that many food court soup stalls sell! Service wasn’t to scratch either. As I said, the restaurant was quite empty, but throughout the entire dinner my teacups were only refilled by their waitress only once - and that’s when she was taking orders for dessert. The senior waitress wasn’t friendly as well. I left feeling a tad disappointed.
Be the first to ReplyLunch at Imperial Treasure
We had a delightful Lunch experience at Imperial Treasure. The seafood, the soup and pork dishes surely added depth and flavor to our meal. We were exploring new culinary horizons by trying black chicken for the first time was an interesting flavor. the service was attentive.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing service!
We were visiting from the US where my local friend from Singapore treated us to this Chinese dim sum restaurant located in Marina Bay Sands. I was very impressed with such attentive service we received where our teacup never remained empty, loved their jasmine tea, and our server dished out the main entree into small portions for each people. Shrimp dumplings were served steaming hot & wonderful (we ordered 4 baskets) as were the steamed pork buns, fried shrimps and their flat noodle hor fun dish which we ordered with fish (instead of prawn) melted in our mouth.
Be the first to ReplyCould have been better
Given this is touted as a fine dining place, it started off quite well when the food we ordered arrive smoothly. However, half-way through, the food stop coming. We gently reminded them and only after 3 tries, they finally got serious and started bring the food again. Kinda spoilt the flow of what could have been a nice lunch out experience.
Be the first to ReplyHorrible experience
The food is horrible SALTY. We ordered 3 dishes, the fried rice came out as the first dish after almost 40 minutes, then we have to wait for more than 30min to get our second dish - sweet and sour pork ribs. It’s take 1.5 hour for our last dish which was lobster deep fried in garlic. But the lobster was overcooking, it was dry, and very Salty almost unable to eat. The portion was very small- it’s literally 6 pieces of small pork ribs 😱 The service is bad and slow. And for the high price range -we pay 365 ++ Singapore dollars, it totally not worthy. I will not recommend this place to anyone.
Be the first to ReplySalty
Had dim sum lunch with dishes on the salty side. Best dish was fried eggplant with pork. Steamed pork was fatty with not much meat. BBQ pork buns were fine in taste but the paper bottom was tough to remove as the buns were over cooked. Shrimp rice noodles had wrapped around fried rice noodles so not traditional steamed rice noodles. Teabag was used but after 2 fills had no flavor and given tea isn’t expensive, loose leaf should be used. Average at best.
Be the first to ReplyHigh End Dim Sum Brunch
Decided to end our trip in Singapore at a nice dim sum restaurant. Imperial Treasure Fine Chinese Cuisine fit the criteria. It is located on the second level of the Marina Sands Shopping Center above the casino and provided a nice high end dim sum experience. Interior was clean and immaculate. Service was on par for the venue. Standard dim sum dishes available along with fine seafood, Sharks Fin soup and Peking duck. A bit pricey, however on par with the venue.

We had a business dinner on a weekday, the restaurant was full. It seemed only two staff speak English, like a manager and assistant manager or supervisor. All other staff on the floor seem like casuals and nobody speaks English, for a cosmopolitan city like SIngapore not good enough. We struggled to order water, wine, anything. Only when the manager came could we order, for anything else had to flag down people to get the manager, Food was ok, nothing special, not as good as Hong Kong or Macau for sure. The presentation of the food was very basic. From a restaurant of this caliber one needs to expect more. This was just a horrible experience, felt like a cha chaan teng.
Be the first to ReplyFine Chinese food in Singapore
Fine Chinese food. One of the most popular in Singapore. Crab dishes are most impressive. Very fresh and well prepared.
Be the first to ReplyGreat to be back post-COVID restrictions!
Came here for a birthday dim sum that my mom loves but sad to say that they no longer served 鱼翅灌湯餃. We always loved the individual size bowls. Servers insisted that it had been taken off the dim sum menu for 10 years yet my children still remembered having eaten that in the last 5 years at GWC.
Be the first to ReplyBit expensive, fine quality and good service
Stopped in for lunch and wasn’t disappointed. The food and service were very good. It was just a little expensive but, frankly, there isn’t a lot of cheap spots in Marina Bay Sands so we weren’t expecting a bargain.
Be the first to ReplyTERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, NOT BEEN ATTENDED WITH PROFESSIONAL OR STANDARD SERVICE.
Can obviously see the service provide difference between normal customer and MBS Casino Membership customer and unhygienic staff touching on the serving bowl after rubbing her nose (by pulling down her mask).
Pour tea half way and attend the guest next to us, never complete her job and just walk away after serviced the guest next to us. Of course never apologies after that. Is it because we are not Casino Member so we deserve for a later service even we been attended first? Just a question mark came out in my mind.
It’s disappointed experience and feeling not been respected during our dining experience as this is not the first time I visit this restaurant (only MBS branch, so far I have fully recommend the other branch that I always visit at Asia Square, Orchard) even those the prices here is slightly higher which I can understand but we shouldn’t deserve for such kind of service. If this restaurant mainly attending or concentrate at the casino member, it shouldn’t open for public right?
All the above just my sharing & comment that I experienced and my query on unclear incident happen at today 22 Oct 2021 which caused bad dining experience. Hope there is improvement to avoid the next customer facing the same issue. Of course the next customer definitely is not me or my family. such experience, one time is more than enough for us.
EVERY DINER SHOULD DESERVE THE SAME WAY OF TREATMENT, NO MATTER WHAT AS EVERYONE IS PAYING FOR IT.
We are not requesting any special treatment from the staff, but we just need a fair treatment to satisfy our dining experience.
Great Chinese dining at Marina Bay Sands
Great experience from reservation to dining. Had the most perfect steamed fish “Soon Hock” with superior soya sauce and stir fried wild abalone (special this month). Will definitely return to this excellently located Chinese fine dining restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyPoor services
Be careful that their service staff that can make a surprise comment to embarrass you in front of your friends. I don’t expect such comment from service staff to spoilt my dining mood totally before I start
Be the first to ReplyAmazing Chinese cuisine
Arguably unbeatable in Singapore for dim sum. All soups/ soup noodles are amazing, char siew siew yoke is good too. Service is attentive but not bothersome. Good place for family/ business lunches. Have been here numerous times and the quality is consistent each and every time. Note that this outlet in particular (MBS) is in my opinion, the best.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious peking duck
Their peking duck is one of the best I've eaten so far. Most of their food are delicious. Great service too. The walnut is really delicious but it cost $35 for a bottle.
Expensive but great food.
Quality food, service is average
The food here is always great. Of course for the price we pay that is expected. XO carrot cake and the dim sum items are my favorite cos its more affordable. I cannot say that the service is worthy of the price.. Just average service, neither very bad, nor is it very good. But will definitely visit again for the food.
