Located at Times Square on 45th between 6th and 7th Ave.
Service was fine. Housekeeping was great and attentive. You can ask for a corkscrew and slippers if needed. The rooms have a small fridge (see photo) and Keurig. Very helpful. Would have been good to have a microwave but not critical. The fitness gym was adequate with enough dumbbells and machines (see photos) to get a decent workout. They also have a leg lift and kettle bells. They have 2 Peleton bikes but you do need your own account to use them (see photo). I always try to post fitness area photos because I feel like hotels never do an adequate job on their website and it's good to know what they offer. It is also 50 floors high so you can run some stairs although they are slightly narrow. Be careful. The elevators are slow and can get crowded. With the location not much of a view. Maybe at the highest floors but in 30s not too much of a view. Hopefully you are out in the city rather than in your room.

Couldn't believe my mom booked a hotel right in Times Square during my first visit!! It was such a crazy trip, got to meet my long time friends since 2011 for the very first time and it was INSANE. Amazing and couldn't have asked for anything better. The hotel itself is gorgeous and of course, pricey, but worth it if you're looking for something nice. The bathroom was beautiful, shower was huge! The beds were extremely comfortable and we had a great view of the city. Everything here is walkable and just super convenient which is what we wanted. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit! IG: @ammysalamii

Nice location, lots of restaurants, Broadway musicals, drug stores, etc nearby. Times Square is minutes away from the hotel. Front desk employees were friendly and courteous. Upon check in we were told that our room is not yet ready, so they gave us a voucher that can be used to purchase food from the restaurant at the lobby as well as late check out at 1pm. The 1king bed suite was clean with modern decor and furniture. There's a bar on the 54th floor overlooking the city but unfortunately we did not get a chance to check it out. We didn't know that we had to call the front desk to schedule a tour that starts at 10:30am. Staff were attentive , they immediately responded to our requests such as fresh towels, slippers, complimentary bottled water (unlimited) and microwave (yes, you can request at no cost). We did late check out at 1pm but our flight was at 8pm, we're told they can hold our luggage until we're done with our last minute shopping. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. A little bit pricey but worth it.

This hotel was absolutely amazing! I have stayed in many places near Times Square and this by far is the best.I originally booked the queen disability room, but then a few days later decided to upgrade to the queen deluxe, which I am glad I did because it was 100 sq feet bigger for just a few dollars more.Checking in was very easy. The staff had surprised us with birthday balloons, a card and a mini bottle (when I made the reservation online from booking.com they had asked if there were any special request) So thankful they actually did something! Our room was HUGE! it was on the highest floor (53rd )Loved the view. Easy light and temperature controls. The bathroom was also huge. It had a separate tub and shower and lots of counter space. They had a fancy hairdryer. Loved staying here and will come back next time I plan a New York trip

This was my 6th stay at this incredible hotel and I can honestly say it just gets better every time. I go to NYC every year to enjoy a week of theatre, museums and as much as I can fit in during my stay. I travel solo on this trip and have always felt extremely safe, comfortable and looked after during my stays here. Everyone on the staff from top management to everyone in between goes out of their way to be as kind, helpful and welcoming as possible. I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else as the Hyatt Centric Times Square has truly become my home away from home. Already looking forward to returning next January!
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful hotel in the heart of Times Square.
Spacious rooms and excellent views. The rooftop bar is great. We talked to the friendly and talented bartender Justin for the majority of the evening. Samuel the host was also very kind and accommodating. I loved the over atmosphere and style. If you stay on a high room floor you are really in for great views.

I'm a Hyatt loyalist and I typically stay at the grand Hyatt over Grand Central Station but this time switched it up. This hotel is much simpler but probably about as nice. The rooms are maybe a little smaller but are fine and the finishing touches are good. The thing that sucks here is - and I'm in room 4807 on the 47th floor - is they have horrible water hammer. The whole floor is vibrating as I write this because someone near me is showering. My shower does the same thing unless I use the non waterfall shower head (there are two heads). It's incredibly annoying and sadly for this hotel, it's going to be very very very expensive to repair.I won't stay here again. It's not a little bit disruptive it's very very very loud banging in the walls and I need to sleep!
Be the first to ReplyLocation: excellent.
It's near Time Square. There's a CVS across the street and a Starbucks. Prior to our arrival, I emailed the hotel to let them know we would be arriving early and if it would be possible to check in early. I received the strangest reply, saying that their doorman would be reaching out to me. First of all, why? what is the reason? When I replied back asking why b/c it seemed odd, I never got a reply back. When we got there, we were told that our room was ready. I'm over here thinking, oh thank goodness. BUT then she said, it was an EXTRA $75 for early access to our room. WOW. We had just came from our red-eye flight, walked like 20 blocks from the train station to get here with our luggages. We were tired. It was 10AM-ish. so not like we got there at 7AM or something. I'd never had this happen before where we were refused early entry to our room unless we paid extra. We declined because I thought that was ridiculous. She didn't give us any alternative options and said check-in was at 3PM. We told the gal we'd leave our stuff there but had to reorganize ourselves in the lobby. So yeah, we had our luggages all opened in the middle of the lobby so we could reorganize our things. When we were ready to hand over our stuff, another gal Yenny? assisted us but she thought we had just gotten there. So now she was looking us up and then I told her about the $75. She turned to her coworker on the computer next to her (not knowing she was the one who told us it'd be extra) and told her, "these people were told they'd be charged 75 dollars"I didn't call her out though and say, "actually it was YOU ma'am".So then this lady was rethinking it and says "ok you guys can come back around noon, and we won't charge" (even though check-in is 3PM).Why didn't she say that earlier when she was helping us???and then Yenny gave us the option to upgrade our room for X amount for a better view and we could check in NOW with no extra early check-in fee. Um why didn't the first lady make this an option for us?? She was gatekeeping information and making our check-in experience difficult.Thank goodness for Yenny b/c she took care of us. The wifi was spotty so not that great. They have a bar on the roof that I guess is only for guests. You have to make reservations. We tried for the night of, and everything was booked online. I tried calling the phone number listed for the bar to see if there were any cancellations but instead got the hotel. The lady who answered seemed all upset and I told her I was trying to reach the bar. She was all, "are you a guest?" I said Yes. But then she said she couldn't help me b/c the bar doesn't have a phone number. I was like, well this is the number listed. She couldn't help me and said whatever Tock says, that's what it is. That lady needs some people skills.
Be the first to ReplyBest views ever!!! I normally stay at Hyatt hotels, had
Best views ever!!! I normally stay at Hyatt hotels, had many choices in Manhattan including Andaaz 5th ave, Thompson Central Park etc. But I really wanted that Times Square views. And I was not disappointed!!First/ most of the people that work here are super nice to me. Except that one person at the front desk that had to look up my name to take my water bottle request to send to my room. Like hello, I wouldn't be going to a random hotel I'm not staying to ask for water bottles that I wouldn't get. How weird would that be?? Besides that, I enjoyed my stay! Breakfast is room service only and takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Only time you can order room service. I've tried the avocado toast, ( filling), loaded pancakes and egg whites scrambles during my 4 days. Yes, I order 2 dishes every time because why not. Such long wait. Togo containers only due to Covid. But packed well, including coffee!Bar 54 is pretty! On 54th floor. My room was on 51st floor. So pretty much the same views minus the balcony, the bar... and some crowd. Worth a visit. Sam the hostess is crazy nice! Remembers your name after one visit. Even took a selfie with me. :D Hi, Sam!! Gym was small but efficient and opens 24/7!!! Win!!! Location was great for solo traveling / walking everywhere but don't call Uber! Takes forever. And views from my room/ king bed was the best! I caught thunder storms/ rain from my room. Pretty great not being out in that rain. Location did great for what I wanted out of this particular trip. Normally I prefer Columbus circle/ Central Park side but this was great for this trip. Michael from front desk was great! 4 pm check out is great. Everyone is so friendly and nice. I'd stay again!!!! Granted for the same views :)
Be the first to ReplyDisappointed with customer service.
They have a non-refundable 1 night deposit if you cancel less than 72 hours prior to check in.Unfortunately my husband tested positive for CV 48 hours before check jn.We had to cancel our whole trip to NY.Tried the chat online and they referred me to call the hotel directly and still they couldn't send me a refund or a credit. As big as the Hyatt chain is, I thought they can do a little better given the circumstances. Oh well..
