My brothers bought me a « Déjeuner signature « for my 60th birthday. My husband and I went today and I can honestly and truly say that I have never experienced a culinary treat as wonderful as we did today. Everything from the decor, ambiance, service and food was exceptional. The staff were all superb, down to earth and extremely well trained. We felt at ease the moment we walked in! And the food… just art in your plate, so delicious, inventive and creative! The wine were well chosen to pair our food too. Thank you so much to all the superb staff for making this experience truly memorable! We will come back!

Uhhh so I guess I also forgot to write a review for Guy Savoy from 6 years ago... oops! We came for lunch after a half day of museum-ing. Can't be the combinations of looking at some beautiful Monet's and then lunching at Guy Savoy. The most memorable (now thinking about it six years later) were the champagne, soup, and dessert. The champagne is 50 euros a glass, but it was absolutely amazing and so worth it! I don't even like bubbly 50% of the time. We chose the truffle soup with brioche. There really isn't a reason to choose something else. The soup is rich and flavorful. The brioche is but in half and buttered thickly. It's a heavy start to the meal but so decadent. An older French gentleman was seated near us and seemed like a regular. He had TWO brioches with his soup, what a champ. I need to figure out his exercise plan. For entree, I got the salmon and my husband got the beef two ways. My salmon was "cooked" table side. And by cooked, I mean slightly "cold poached" (idk the term) by liquid nitrogen. It's then served in a light consommé. This was slightly underwhelming as it didn't have a lot of flavor, but the salmon was very fresh. My husband's beef entree was delicious. It was cooked perfectly medium rare and had really nice veggie and sauce to complement. The palette cleanser course was some cream with a poached fig on top. The fig is rolled like a cross section of a snail. Just beautiful. For dessert, I chose the mille feuille (another inspo by The Great British Baking Show) and my husband chose the chocolate dessert. The mille feuille had perfect lamination and flakes, served with a rich vanilla cream. It's a pretty heavy dessert. I wish I chose something a little less decadent. The chocolate dessert is another dish that my husband still talks about. There were several different executions of chocolate in this dish. It's presented with a tall cylinder of chocolate with a chocolate truffle balanced on top. The thin disk of chocolate is melted through and the truffle drops into the mousse within the cylinder. It was chocolate on chocolate on chocolate but not coying or overwhelming. There was more dessert afterwards - ice cream, petit fours, and a truffle hiding under the coffee mug. Definitely go to Guy Savoy, and definitely go hungry. You will not be disappointed!
Every Moment Exceptional!
As a foodie, I treated myself to an extraordinary lunch during our last day in Paris. Haute cuisine is not my husband's jam so I was more than comfortable making a reservation several weeks in advance and going alone. I had the tasting menu, two different white wines, and savored every moment of this exceptional experience. Impeccable service from every server during a well choreographed "dance" of many, many courses. Not every plate was a "wow" but simply go with an open mind and your appetite. I went for the experience and especially for the memories. It did not disappoint. Of special note was meeting Chef Savoy who was gracious and welcoming. Don't miss the {many} desserts!

Highly recommended exceeded any expectations. We had the tasting menu with a wine pairing and both food and wine were was absolutely outstanding ! The staff was kind and knowledgeable and went out of their way to provide an incredible experience. They even gave a complimentary dessert to celebrate my birthday! We have eaten in Michelin-starred restaurants on several occasions but I can count with one hand those that truly has giving us an overall memorable experience. Only four of them, to be exact. Dani Garcia in Marbella, Eleven Madison in New York City, DiverXO in Madrid and GUY SAVOY in Paris. This restaurant is THE definition of high-quality gastronomy. In order to get to the restaurant you have to climb a majestic staircase. To our surprise, as soon as we entered the restaurant the chef was standing there greeting us. As they walk you to your table you can appreciate the cool and edgy art pieces in the walls. First thing I noticed at the table were the colorful artsy plates, very unique. There were only four other tables in the room, so it was delightful noticing how the servers, almost doing a coordinated choreography, brought dishes out and place them all at the same time. We started our experience with a champagne toast and then the Sommelier suggested a Burgundy Chardonnay, french white wine which paired perfectly with the food. All dishes were absolutely delicious. I have to highlight the deconstructed onion soup and the artichoke black truffle soup. Standing ovation. The lobster was also OUTSTANDING! For dessert they had one of my ultimate favorites, the hazelnut tart. Creamy and nutty. The chef not only greeted us at the entrance, he took the time to pass by the tables to make sure everything is fine. For me that was impressive. The attention to detail is of a world-class restaurant. Everything immaculate. Dining here was a total pleasure!

They need to restore his third Michelin star ASAP!!! This was the most amazing dining experience I have had in my life. We were completely blown away. We came here for lunch and had been planning to do the smaller, seven course lunch menu. However, once we saw both menus, we decided to go for it with the full tasting menu, I think it was 11 courses. It actually ended up being way more than that because of all the amuse bouches. It was so much food! And all it was absolutely exquisite. The service is exactly what you expect of this world-class restaurant. What I loved was that Guy Savoy himself came around to all the tables and said hello and thanked us for being there. I can't even describe all the food except to say that it was incredibly delicious, creative, unique, and just perfect. Exquisite experience!!

So, during this most recent visit to Paris, I visited 5 different Michelin Restaurants Epicure Pur Septime L Tour Da Argant And Guy Savoy I would have to say that this place was our favorite overall. The food The Ambiance Comfort Cadence of dishes for the tasting menu And service was all at the top of the food chain literally and figuratively. Guy Savoy is located in what appears to be a historic building. The entrance is grand and beautiful. With a majestic staircase leading up to the restaurant. The dining rooms are dark, warm, and seductive. The service is first class, gracious and humble without pretense and on par with 3 star Michelin Restaurant Le Cinque also in Paris. I'm actually perplexed as to why this place has 2 stars while Epicure has 3 stars. Both places provide similar 3-star services and food. But I found Epicure to be a little too proud of themselves and lacking in grace and humility. But you can read my review for them when I post it. Anyways, the tasting menu will run you €650 per person, without wine pairing. They do not have a conventional bar nor signature cocktails, but they can accommodate any standard cocktail requests you make. I asked for a Negroni, and my wife had a mock tail. Both were quite good, with the only critique being that the ice cubes for my Negroni were actual ice cubes and not the proper single crystal clear hunk of ice. But the taste was excellent. We had great seats by the window facing out towards the river Seine. Quite romantic. There is the obligatory purse seat and coat check-in like any good Michelin Restaurant. The amount of luxurious ingredients is over flowing. Dishes that we normally don't like were prepared in amazing ways that turned convention on its head (cold raw oysters). My wife actually ate 90% of everything served. Which is incredibly rare for her. The only dish that was a miss for the both of us was the Guinea Fowl. This is apparently a favorite amongst the locals though. My favorite thing was the ice cream trolley. I wanted to eat the whole thing. The best part is that you CAN! They will serve you as much of their home made ice cream with accompaniments as you wish. Without making you feel undignified in the least. I wanted to ask them to roll the trolley back to my hotel So the entire tasting course took a little over three and a half hours to get through. But this dinner was less excruciating than most other tasting menus. Almost as pleasant as my experience at Le Cinq. Which says alot about the comfort of the seats, atmosphere and graciousness of the staff. These tasting menus can sometimes feel more like marathons instead of fine dining. But this place kept the entire evening enjoyable. At the end of the evening each guest was presented with a delicious cruffian (croissant/muffin). This days offering was a Framboise and praline cruffian. Which we enjoyed the next day during our tour bus ride to Mont Saint Michel.
Best meal in Paris
Wow! We had one of the best meals anywhere in our travels around the world. It’s worth the hype. We can men here for lunch and had the tasting menu. The service, the food, the presentation, the ambiance, was everything a 3 star Michelin restaurant should be. If you have the opportunity to try a top level restaurant in Paris, do not miss the opportunity for Guy Savoy.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
