Reliable and friendly
An Australian outpost that has something for everyone. It is usefully close to King's Cross station. I have been there several times. Had the pancakes once and they were pretty good but way too much for one person. My friend loves their hamburgers.
Be the first to ReplyWorst Brunch of your life
They take advantage of their name to serve overpriced and cold food. One of the worst brunches I ever had. Horrible would not recommend. Staff is also unwelcoming and rude. The salmon had a very strange taste.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food and great staff
Had the courgette chips and chicken bites for starters. Good size portions and really attentive staff. Burger was really tasty, followed by the pavlova. All were beautifully presented and I have nothing but praise for the staff.
Be the first to ReplyNice ambience and good food but overpriced and not enough of it.
This is the second time I’ve come in recent months and each time I have ordered a main meal and drinks (often smoothies) and finished my meal still hungry. The portions are very small for many dishes, yet the prices are not cheap?! A buckwheat bowl (£13.50 - decent price but also very small) with side of 1/2 avocado (£3.25, okay probably fair) and halloumi (3.75 - for just two slices? Come on, I could buy a full block of halloumi for £2,50). I usually live in Paris so I know expensive, and I know inflation is at an all time high in London but this is a bit much. Each time I have come recently I have had to order multiple dishes so one visit ends up costing me £40-50. This second time around I just ordered salad and fries, couldn’t see much else that light either help fill me up or work with the main I had already had. This is what I got for £12. Yep - a handful of leaves and small bowl of fries, market value about £2. Was a losing battle. I’m a mid forties woman of around 68kgs - hardly gluttonous. Sorry Granger & co. - you used to be fab, but this is just mean
Be the first to ReplyGreat meal
My son found this gem with some friends and liked it so much, he asked me to go the next night. The food and drinks did not disappoint. We had the duck and the chopped salad with miso salmon and both were delish. The salad was fresh, lightly dressed, the salmon just the right portion size and perfectly seasoned and prepared; the duck was cooked to perfection and the accompanying sides were delicious. We had a reservation and were about 30 minutes late, but they held our table and seated us right away. It did take some time (about 20 minutes) after being seated for the server to come by to take our order but the meal was worth the short wait!
Be the first to ReplyQuite the disappointment
We came with high hopes given the celeb chef inspiration. However the food was disappointing - small portions, nothing special and seasoning was totally off. When we mentioned this we were offered complementary mint tea but we had to return it as some dirt had found it’s way to the teapot. Service was at best average, same for the interior. Not worth visit
Be the first to ReplyExcellent brunch option
Very good food in a cool setting. I really enjoyed my brunch here. I ordered the chicken bowl and the chili green beans as well as a very expensive glass of excellent wine. I didn’t give it 5 stars because from my perspective there’s room for improvement such as, adding more choices of wine by the glass. There are very few choices and they are very expensive in relation to the price of the food. I paid 17 for my meal and 14.50 for the wine. They should also add to the menu or give you the option of a bead basket The service was efficient but not very friendly. That’s ok with me I don’t need a cheerleader but a smile would have been appreciated. We came here after the brunch rush so we got a table for two with no reservation but it tends to be always very full.
Be the first to ReplySour almond milk chai and disappointing service
I ordered the almond milk chai drink and nearly spat it out because it tasted sour and rank. I asked the waiter if it could be returned as I thought it surely had to be a mistake but the waiter brought back the same drink to coldly state that "that's how it's meant to taste" with no apologies. Do not order! The breakfast is pricey even for central London for small portions and the service was disappointing. We got served the bill right after our plates were cleared even though there was only one group waiting to be seated and it was pouring with rain outside.
Be the first to ReplyPleasant enough!
Staff were superb, attentive and smiley. We were on banquette seating & one of us found it a bit tricky to find a comfy position at the round table in front and eat their hearty serving of tender chicken and noodle broth with jalapeno and coriander relish. (They decided to perch on the edge of their seat!). The jalapeno was just right but sadly this was a bland dish despite the use of aromatic spicing and generous dollop of relish. Even the coriander was not evident in the taste or aroma. It was nice to find endame beans at the bottom! The shrimp burger was packed with flavour on a brioche style bun, delicious. Note: If you are looking for a chunky monkey of a burger this is on the light side. Fresh orange juice was very good, as was the Braybrooke Helles lager. Nice atmosphere. Terrace tables overlooking a traffic free Pancras Square and the station.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious with nice atmosphere
Some delicious and healthy options for breakfast/brunch. Happy with our choices (rice/egg and hotcakes). Ambience was relaxed with friendly staff. Good place to wait on your train. Will come back!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent breakfast
The menu is very similar to the Australian offering (Bill’s), offering a little taste of home in London. The pancakes were exceptional (of course) and absolutely delicious - definitely worth the inflated London price tag.
Be the first to ReplyGone downhill, and service is poor.
I used to really like this place, but it's lost all its warmth and energy. The staff are blank-faced and uncaring, ignoring the customers and repeatedly forgetting to bring water when I asked for it several times. The food is okay but is expensive and can taste bland. Pre-pandemic this restaurant was lively, welcoming and fun, but returning again now I've been really disappointed with the atmosphere and the service. Perhaps they just got complacent!

Was really impressed with Granger & Co. Excellent, menu, great atmosphere and great service. The high ceilings and decor make it an outstanding venue. The food was generally excellent. Two areas that could be improved in my opinion. One of the Sicilian white wines is organic and is very cloudy. I think it would be helpful to point that our on the drinks menu. The crab linguini had way too much chili in the dish, so much so that it was hard to taste the crab. It was noticeable that on other tables, some people were trying to pick out the chili and leave it on the side of the plate, as we did.

This is a very nice looking bar and restaurant in the revamped area near the stations. We ordered cider which came in 2 small cans. Cider was tasty but very expensive for the size. Sat on the outside terrace which is good for people watching
Be the first to ReplyGood food, average to poor service.
Good food, average to poor service. Waited ages for them to take our food order. They forgot to bring the water we asked for. Ordered 2 fries and they only sent 1. Vegan options aren’t marked on the menu (only ‘V’ for vegetarian rather than V and VE). The waitress did notify me that the item I’d chosen was not vegan as it contained egg, which allowed me to choose something else which I appreciated but clearer vegan markings on menus would resolve this and make it easier to choose. Food was really tasty, but staff need to be far more attentive to customers, not hang around the bar talking to each other.
Be the first to ReplyUnhappy bar staff
Popped in for a drink while waiting for our train and wish we hadn't bothered!
Miserable bar staff who weren't happy when we questioned the wine we were served, then looked at another staff member and raised their eyes at each other. Plus a service charge to serve 2 drinks at the bar.
Is this not the job they are being paid for?
Won't be going back in a hurry!
Great tasting food
Visited the restaurant on 3rd April 22. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. My wife and I had starters and a main each and drinks.
I went for the cauliflower with cashew sate. It was delicious, I would recommend it. My wife had the courgette chips with tahini yoghurt. I found these a little too greasy.
We had the fish curry and the crispy duck for mains. Both were very good, I particularly liked the tangy citus dressing.
The fresh mint tea to finish came in individual pots , with enough for around 3 cups each.
We would both recommend this restaurant without hesitation.
Wowzer that was great
I have started a journey of discovery with vegetarian food and if this is what I have to look forward too then I definitely won’t miss meat. The food, service and restaurant were lovely and we will be heading back when next in town.
Be the first to ReplyUninspiring
Underwhelming and overpriced (even for London) .
Some staff were friendly and lively , some were dead behind the eyes and clearly hating their job. Food arrived very quickly and was lack lustre . Chicken salad which was a while load of iceberg, cabbage, whole mint leaves and far far too much coriander was a poor show for over £15. £50 for two mediocre lunches , two soft drinks and a coffee. I’d avoid this place .
Beautifully presented food overly pushy service d
Popped in for a business breakfast. Rapid perhaps top rapid service felt we were being really pushed through our meal by a waitress who took every opportunity to Upsell. The food was excellent if pricy.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing restaurant- big thanks to Kevin :)
Had an amazing time out with my mum- the food was amazing and so were the cocktails! All of the tables were taken when we came but within 5 minutes of sitting in the bar, a waiter that noticed we were hoping for a table and gestured us over. Food arrived a lot quicker than most london restaurants and the atmosphere is amazing. Would come again and definitely bringing my friends here! Loved it, thank you Kevin!

They had me at “Ricotta banana griddle cakes” and they did not disappoint! Those pancakes were SO fluffy I felt like I was eating a cloud. The staff was very friendly and helped us get seated quickly even with a queue outside 💜 Like most any place in London, the tables are tightly packed together- just a heads up if you’re worried about the pandemi!
Be the first to ReplyPleasant Surprise
Really pleasant surprise. Sat outside today for a quick lunch as we had a train to catch. I always have a preconception of restaurants right next to train stations, thinking that they won’t be very good and I’m not sure if why. Anyway today changed my mind.
Just had the cheese burger and fries but it was absolutely delicious! The creamy dill sauce on burger was lovely and I need the recipe for the relish that was served on the side!
Thank You
Very comfortable restaurant with delicious food
So glad my wife & I found this spot! What a comfortable, stylish spot with (bonus for us) a nice long bar to dine at. Everyone was very friendly, casual yet professional. We really enjoyed our three dishes: the crispy chicken, peanut and iceburg cups weer excellent, perfectly spicy and crunchy with a cool ranch dip; the raw tuna, yellow tomato & radish salad was fresh and tasty; and the chopped salad w/ edamame, courgette, cabbage, tomatoes & chickpeas was also tasty with a nice sesame dressing. We'd definietly return!
