Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen Foxwoods Ledyard Reviews
What an experience.
We just sat and soaked it up. We were seated at a table and our server Justin was right there if we needed him. We were pretty close to where they were cooking. It was noisy but it was also very busy. We ordered the Beef Wellington and Short Ribs along with the Lobster Risotto, Mac and Cheese and Wagyu Meatballs. For dessert we had creme Brulee. We didn't have drinks so I can't comment on it. We asked if Kyle (the head chef from Season 23) was there. We wanted to tell him we were big fans of his. He was, but he was very busy and we understood. The bill was over $200 with tip. We expected this so weren't surprised. Would we recommend it? Definitely without question.
Special shout out to our waiter of the afternoon, Ryan J,
Special shout out to our waiter of the afternoon, Ryan J, for his stellar service and memorable personality! He really helped make our luxuriously delicious lunch that much more delectable. Now, onto the review. So, we're not exactly n00bs when it comes to Gordon Ramsay lore. For whilst this was our first visit to THIS location, we've actually been to Hell's Kitchen before - in Las Vegas. As you can probably imagine, the menu selections are basically similar, par from a few alterations to certain recipes (which I'll cover as we go item for item). But one thing I appreciate about the Foxwoods location over the Caesar's Palace one is the dining room itself. Almost immediately, I noticed how much better its acoustics are. In other words, it's no where near as noisy as I feared it'd be. Certainly less noisy than its Vegas counterpart. Sufficed to say, I didn't even need to put in my noise cancelling earbuds, not even once, during lunch service. Perhaps it has something to do with the height of the ceilings or...the way the tables are arranged. Whatever they're doing, I humbly grant them the misophoniac seal of approval. Okay, let's get to the good stuff.. Pan-seared scallops: I honestly don't have too much to say about these, mainly because they're just so damned perfect! They use a corn purรฉe rather than the pea purรฉe used at the Vegas spot. And actually...I think I prefer this one over the other. You could smell the smoky sear within seconds of receiving the plate. Melting our mouths like butter, these were a solid 10 out of 10! Wagyu meatballs: my son ordered these, but I totally sampled one. Let's just say...I understand why people pay top dollar for wagyu beef. I couldn't make a better meatball myself if I tried. Another solid 10 out of 10. Lobster risotto: So, this one frustrates me a little bit (emphasis on the little bit). See, I mostly love this app. But much like their Vegas location, I wish they'd add more salt to the risotto. Naturally, the lobster is poached to perfection, is tender and all that. I can even appreciate the subtle tomato flavor they were aiming for here. But it just...lacks some seasoning in there. At first, I assumed it was a bug, not a feature. Now I know this is just how they serve it, for some reason. Still totally worth getting, just maybe ask for salt and pepper if you prefer more seasoning to your risotto. 8 out of 10. Now, I won't be covering ALL of the entrees, as I obviously only ate one. But rest assured, everyone at the table loved their respective dishes. With that disclaimer out of the way, we can move onto.. Backyard burger: I don't mind telling you I've never actually tried a Gordon Ramsay burger of any kind until now. And since we were having lunch, not dinner, I figured I'd seize the opportunity. Man - THIS is how a proper burger is cooked! Seasoned like all get out with a perfectly charred sear on a well toasted bun, accompanied with a special house sauce which tasted of a mayo/mustard blend, this burger was absolutely sensational! Matter of fact, I can't think of a single thing I'd change about this burger. Which is saying a lot, considering I usually prefer my burgers to have lettuce at the bottom to protect the bun. This one did not require it though. Even the fries were seasoned and cooked to perfection! Another 10 out of 10. And last, but certainly not least, that leaves.. Sticky Toffee Pudding: DAYAMN! I mean....you guys already know, right? Well....if you know, you know. If you haven't tried this one yet, you seriously need to check this out. Again, they deviate from the Vegas location by using a dulce de leche ice cream as opposed to a creme fraiche blend. Still equally delectable! Do I even need to say it? Yup - a solid 10 out of frickin' 10! Quick honorable mention for those who were wondering - we DID spot our Season 23 winning Head Chef Kyle Timpson in the dining room. However, he was rather busy expediting and doing chefy things. So, we didn't feel the need to interrupt him for a photo op. Anyway, there's always next visit (and we WILL be back). One caveat to mention: valet parking is definitely the way to go, seeing as how garage parking is like finding a needle in haystack. It's totally free. Just be sure to bring cash for tips. Look, if you live anywhere in the New England area and haven't visited Hell's Kitchen yet, what the hell are you waiting for?! The fact that we finally have an HK that's NOT smack dab in the midst of an un-driveable city like Boston or NYC alone is more than enough reason to get your butts in these seats and enjoy some tasty treats! I dunno. I could be speaking for wifey and myself here when I say...we're just stoked we no longer have to purchase plane tickets just to visit one of our favorite restaurant franchises of all time. Hell's Kitchen in The Foxwoods Casino gets 5 backyard burgers perfectly seared over hot fiery flames out of 5.

Food was excellent, service was perfect! The beef Wellington was probably the best I've ever had, the pizzas they made for my kids were delicious, the filet mignon was superb and our server Zack was attentive, and provided a top tier experience. Will definitely visit again the next time we are in the area!
You NEED TO come here if you're in the area or visiting and
You NEED TO come here if you're in the area or visiting and looking for an indulgent, special occasion dinner. Hell's Kitchen delivers on all expectations from spectacular service, to a breathtaking atmosphere, to incredible and high-end culinary expertise. Truly, coming here for my birthday celebration was the best choice I could've made. Starting off, our waiter (shout out Ryan!) was extremely personable, kind, and accommodating without losing the standard of professionalism of the restaurant. He remembered little things about our orders and our table members' personalities making the experience feel very special and personal to our party. I must also mention the interior of the restaurant itself- it's decorated in a modern fashion with little pitchfork detailing, a huge option kitchen concept, and screens playing clips of the tv show. I absolutely loved the lively energy, it was almost theatrical in nature with the tables facing the energetic kitchen and reflecting the fun yet seriousness of the tv program. As for the food itself, it was just as you'd expect and desire from a Gordon Ramsay establishment: full of flavor and finesse. Every bite of every dish bursted fresh and sophisticated flavor profiles, drawing you back in for more. I couldn't leave without trying Gordon's signature beef wellington and, let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint. That might have been the most delightful meal I've had all year- perfectly tender beef wrapped in flakey puff pastry surrounded by a rich sauce and fluffy potatoes. Literally what more could you ask for. I also highly recommend the brussel sprouts and sticky toffee pudding, they were the other two standouts of the night (the latter of which was complimentary for our special occasion)!! All in all, this dinner was an absolute hit. I will CERTAINLY be coming back and am so excited and grateful to have checked it off my restaurant bucket list! I highly recommend you to do the same if you can!!
As a huge fan of Gordon Ramsay and the show, finally
As a huge fan of Gordon Ramsay and the show, finally stepping into the first-ever Hell's Kitchen on the East Coast? Say less, I was GEEKINNGGG! And witnessing the actual winner of Season 23 at the pass? Out. Of. Body. Experience. We had the cutest double date and made sure everyone ordered something different so we could try it all. My girlfriend went with the pre-fixe menu, which came with an app, the Wellington, and that iconic sticky toffee pudding. Starters: Part of the prefixe- the scallops. Compared to the rest, they felt a bit lackluster. Good, but missing that "Hell's Kitchen wow." I'd love a pop of acid to lift them. I had the lobster risotto, and it did not disappoint. Creamy, flavorful, beautifully plated-an absolute hit. Entrees: As a true fan, you know we had to order the legendary beef Wellington- and let me tell you, it was everything I imagined perfection would taste like. Lip-smacking goodness. We also ordered the short rib--equally delicious. Only note? Could've used a bit more sauce to swipe the Yukon potato cake, but otherwise flawless. And to finish? That sticky toffee pudding was to die for. Eyes-rolling-back, warm-belly-hug, decadent heaven. Moist, rich, unforgettable. Highly recommend on a special occasion as the menu is a bit pricey. However worth it!

Great service and good food! We went around 4:45 before the dinner rush and everything was excellent. The food didn't wow me like I thought it would but maybe it's because I got a steak. I do really want to go back and try the beef Wellington. Overall, a cool spot that I would go back to the in the future!

Had a yummy lunch here, the sticky toffee pudding is definitely the highlight of the menu! It is cool seeing the chefs in the open-concept kitchen.
Meh
First let me qualify - I am a super fan of HK and went for my retirement after 30 years with my husband because it was on the bucket list so perhaps my expectations were too high. The service and food were ok but really just ok. We waited a long time for our server to take our Initial food and drink order. The poke and wagyu meatballs were AMAZING but it stopped there. I had the signature dishes - scallops and beef Wellington. The plates were dull looking in color - not vibrant like on tv- and the flavor was kind of flat. I wouldnโt rate the service or food at a fine dining level, probably more of a chain. The staff was very nice and the restaurant design was great for pictures. Overall I wouldnโt return but I was happy to get my visit in to HK as a super fan.
Nothing exceptional.
We had the salmon and chicken Succotash. The salmon was good, I would give it a 4/5 stars. The chicken was definitely no more than 2.5/5 stars. I would not drive the distance to come to this restaurant, but if I were here anyway, I would give it another opportunity.
Had a birthday lunch there.
Lunch menu is different than dinner menu. Everyone was attentive. They got two parts of our order wrong. Simple Mistakes and it happens. They brought my wife a dessert for her birthday which was date-based and outstanding. Overall 5-star ambiance and 4-star food/service, I don't know if "hostess snobbery" is part of the "show " but it's lunch at a casino we had a reservation but she was ready to kil l if we didn't. There were a whole 10 people in the restaurant....
We went for a bachelorette party.
There were 14 of us they couldn't accommodate any seating for us even though we had it planned months before we ended up having to sit seven and seven at two separate tables. We ordered the beef Wellington, two of them came out with raw Filo dough. Literally mushy dough, both weren't even half eaten. We told the waiter and he said he would tell the kitchen they did nothing to resolve the issue.
Well worth a visit - order the beef wellington
We have been here twice and both times were EXCEPTIONAL. We were unsure after reading some reviewsโฆbut omg for the price of the dishes they 100% deliver. First time we had the 3 course (scallops, beef wellington and sticky toffee) and each course was exceptional. And the lobster risotto + fish main - also exceptional . The second time we brought friends, and all were amazed. I tried the filet this time (amazingly seasoned and tasty) and a bottle of the house Chianti wine (i am still thinking about it now!!), and our waitress provided a free sticky toffee pudding as it was my birthday which was amaaaazing. The group enjoying steak, beef wellington and short rib and all were highly praised. They even offered options for the 2 year old that was dining with us. This is on the higher end, but in my opinion well worth what you pay. Iโm so glad we tried it!
Poor
Food came out cold. Sent it back and t beef wellington was microwaved . Service was slow and told by waiter that they were short staffed?? Really. The only good thing was the manager came over and offered a full refund never again. Same the big bucks you are going to spend here.
Not perfect but considerably better than a normal restaurant
So it wasn't life changing but it was very good. The risotto was good but I wouldn't order it again. Theyentrees and dessert alone are plenty of food and better. The wellington and the idiot sandwhich meat tasted similarly and both were as tender as possible and had great flavor. They were both excellent. The fries were also good. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was on the verge of amazing and in my opinion was the best thing we had. The sinner (drink) is very good and is a combination of sweet and spicy
Big disappointment!
I went to Hellโs Kitchen for my daughter birthday.Beef Wellington was great the Caesar salad wasnโt good, veggies was bland I ask waitress for little sparkling water too add to are drinks at she bought 2 full glasses and of course I was charged for it. The wait for food was very long. The only thing that the winner of last season was there!Donโt think I will comeback.
DO NOT GO.
Manager was rude at check in. food was cold and servers did not pay any attention to the table. Would not recommend. Please save your money.
Second time here!
Wait staff was great! Second time here not so good... short rib was good potatoes not so good Beef Wellington was good ! Lobster risotto was great! Brussels were great! Mac and cheese just okay ...coffee was good ..desert good but preferred our choice of cake last year but took it off menu disappointed!
Such a disappointment!
My friend and I dined here last night. We made reservations weeks ago and have been excited to finally get to eat at Hell's Kitchen. We both agree that while the restaurant is very cool, the food was just awful. We had the Prix fixe menu. One of us ordered the scallops, the other ordered the burrata salad. The scallops were tasty, the salad was absolutely tasteless. Our Beef Wellington arrived and it looked great but was simply, for lack of a better word, weird. The root vegetables and potato puree were extremely bland, no seasoning at all, couldn't even tell what they were. The beef was just awful. Our waiter didn't ask us how things were until we were served dessert, which was good. I felt compelled to tell him what we thought of our meal, especially since it costs $95! He apologized and said he would tell the chef and manager, yet no one came to talk to us. After weeks of anticipation, we both felt that it was by far the worse meal we've had in a very long time at the most expensive price I've ever paid for Beef Wellington. I eat Beef Wellington every time it's on a menu - this was by far the absolute worse meal ever.
Excellent meal and waitstaff...BUT...
My mom and I went to Hell's Kitchen at Foxwoods on Saturday April 12 after seeing the Heart concert. We had a 10 pm reservation that we made several days earlier. The drinks, entrees, and the waitstaff were all excellent! I ordered the braised short ribs and my mother got the chicken scallopini. For drinks I ordered the Persephone (speciality cocktail) and my mom got a cosmo. The entrees were great. I really liked my short ribs; the yukon potato cake under the short ribs was delightful. I sampled a little of my mom's chicken scallopini and I thought the bit I had was a little dry, but that was probably just the piece that I had because my mom didn't have any complaints. For dessert we split the sticky toffee pudding. I was expecting it to be wicked small but it was just enough for two even after our hearty entrees. Everything was delightful! My only complaint from the evening was that the hostesses that night seemed to be inexperienced. I had to use the restroom and my mother went into the restaurant to advice the hostesses that we had a reservation and that she was waiting for me. A party of 10 or 12 came in without a reservation (I overheard them saying this). The hostesses should have instructed them to move aside as we were waiting and actually had the forethought to make a reservation. Luckily the excellent meal and waitstaff made up for the snafu at the hostess stand.
Should Have Wowed
We were a party of four celebrating my adult son's birthday this past week so no one complained because we wanted to stay in the celebratory frame of mind, grateful to be together, etc; however as I was treating, I am leaving a review of the overall dining experience as respects food and service. The atmosphere/decor is great, no question--BUT The food was way over priced and the quality just mediocre. We ordered a bottle of wine--Banshee cab--which was one of the highlights for quality as well as the oysters, nonetheless overpriced. My son's girlfriend ordered the scallop appetizer and she said their was grit/sand in it. My son's beef Wellington was rare and cool, not warm and pink, my husband's cod was extremely salty, my ragu was fine. As far as the service neither our server or assistant waitstaff did anything special to enhance the experience and when the birthday dessert was delivered with the candle it was more like just another sticky toffee being "plunked down," without even the pretense of caring--a little warmth from the waitstaff would have been nice. For the $500+ spent it should have wowed. This was my second time dining here. The first in December for my husband's birthday was equally mediocre for quality-price and service. We decided to go again because my son requested it and I had hoped for a better experience. It is such a cool spot to dine and entertain I do hope this review inspires the Gordon Ramsey Hell's Kitchen Team.
The beef Wellington is incredible!!! Nice dining room, too!
The beef Wellington is incredible!!! Nice dining room, too! Highly recommend for a casual & special occasion.
Don't go
Horrible, Save your money. Husband's gravy from Wellington was burnt tasting. My Chicken was spicy, and not only to me. They said no it couldn't be. I know what red pepper flacks look and taste like. Spoon had melted plastic on it. They then said they would take off a salad and instead added a Mac and cheese. Another table waited over 10 min for a waitress and had to get a manger to get one. Much better places to go.
The first time we ate here was opening weekend with Chef
The first time we ate here was opening weekend with Chef Christina Wilson running the pass. Excellent food. Impeccable. Everything we expected from Gordon Ramsay. The second time we ate here, the food was great but the service was a little odd. I think the waitress needed more training in fine dining. We just ate here again for Mother's Day and the food was not like the food in the past. It just wasn't great. I don't know why, it's not like the restaurant was packed at the time. It's possible that it's because the brunch menu simply isn't impressive compared to the dinner menu (think beef Wellington). Our waitress was friendly and attentive but over-the-top loud; it was just a little strange. We know we have had great meals here in the past so we will certainly return. It's a beautiful restaurant, excellent music, entertaining and lively. We know it isn't Gordon Ramsay - we know his food is incredible because we have eaten at many of his restaurants. He is amazing. But for some reason the kitchen and service is inconsistent, so one more bad meal may keep us from coming back. I certainly hope not!
I've been to this place twice and each time it was
I've been to this place twice and each time it was disgusting. U would think since it's owned by chef Ramsay it would be the best food ever. I was wrong. this food taste like cruise food. yuck. save ur money. This expensive place is not worth it. 170 for trash.
Great meal at Hells Kitchen Foxwoods.
Everything was perfect. It was my first time having the beef Wellington.
The wife and I did early Mother's Day lunch here yesterday
The wife and I did early Mother's Day lunch here yesterday and it was amazing! We each had the Beef Wellington with scallop appetizer and a date cake dessert. The service and ambience are unmatched as you feel like you're in an episode of the show. "ITS RAW FRAN!" There was significantly less yelling than on tv though.
Exceptional service all around.
Flavorful delights from apps to entrees to desserts. Wonderful ambiance to boot.
I was disappointed.
For Gordon always stressing standards, I feel like he would be embarrassed by their scallops. They were cut in half side to side, so they were like a really thin scallop. I didn't pay that much for 2.5 scallops (5 half scallops). If they do nothing else right, they need to get their scallops, steak and risotto right, and not cut corners. We had the Wellington. Steak was melt in your mouth, but I wasn't crazy about the crust but that is a personal preference. If there is a next time, I will get a plain steak. Dessert was REALLY good. The look of the place was cool, but we had two waitresses. You couldn't hear either of them, and the one who did all the work, was a big talker. So the timing wasn't good. Scallops came out quickly, but we waited a long time for the entree, and much longer then that to get the check. I'm glad I went, but it was a little disappointing. The yelling from the kitchen only happened maybe 3 times, and it was always on a quarter of the hour... like they were told they needed to yell at least every 15 minutes and then they just yelled a quick thing. They should either do it or not.
it was ok
the ambiance was great however we both ordered the prix fixe dinner with the wine pairing. we ordered cocktails my husband's was good mine was awful i honestly think they didn't put the alcohol in it. 2 minutes after we got our cocktail the first wine came out and it was a very cheap chardonnay. we had the scallops and it was ok but you got 2 and 1/2 scallops. they were sliced in half. another cheap wine came out with the beef wellington which was delicious. the dessert was tasty but you could only eat a few bites because it was so sweet. my cocktail which i didn't drink was not addressed. all in all it was ok but was not a 400 dollar dinner with tip. save yourself some money and go downstairs to david burke's.
Food steak great.
Service fast.Ambiance it doesn't matter that much when the food is peak.
not worth the pricey menu.
the scallops were cut in half, and cold, the filet was so salty it was uneatable, as well as the beef wellington. The potatoes w tasted like sour cream from the container. The only enjoyable thing was the french fries! If you want the hype go for it....but if you want good food save your money! there are too many excellent places to eat at Foxwoods!
What can I say.
I have eaten and Gordon's restaurants in the past but I was able to take my wife for the first time. She has a garlic allergy which is always hard to manage but the team and Hell's kitchen was happy to accommodate. We went for lunch. I had the Risotto and the Salmon you will see below and they were able to do the crab cake and salmon for my wife with some minor adjustments. Here is our verdict. Service - wonderful, accurate, friendly, relaxed but attentive. Everything we could ask for. Food - Absolutely delicious and perfect. I mean perfection. From the timing of the drinks to the apps to the meal. It was wonderful and delicious. Ambiance. They do the best to make it just like the show. You can see the chefs working, you can see them interact with the staff and the expediters. My only complaint is the kitchen is not the deep kitchen you see in the show. Special Note: My wife got the Sticky Toffee Pudding. If you have never had this, you must try it. Simple amazing. Warm cake, toffee sauce and a Dulce de leche ice cream. It is a cut above any dessert you will ever have.
Overpriced mediocre food and service
The decor in the restaurant screams Hellโs Kitchen. It was well themed, clean and cozy. But the food and service in this location are lacking. We were seated quickly and given menus. An employee arrived at our table shortly thereafter, to collect extra place settings. He did not make eye contact or say a word to us while doing this. We found this to be odd. Our server arrived shortly thereafter to take our order. We ordered a burger, short rib grilled cheese, sautรฉed wild mushrooms and water. We got our water quickly. Our server came by a little while later to collect more forks and deliver a spoon without saying a word. Again, odd. Then we waited 30+ minutes for our food to arrive. Nobody checked in on us during this time or refilled our water glasses. During this time we observed a lot of employees standing around not doing much or anything. Our food finally came out (and water glasses refilled). It all looked good but. And the burger was cooked to the proper requested temperature. But nothing was seasoned. Everything lacked salt and flavor (and salt a pepper shakers are not provided on the tables). The fries looked like something I could have gotten from a fast food joint. Iโve had far better fries from a local Mexican restaurant where they take the time to hand cut them. The short ribs on the grilled cheese also lacked seasoning. And it needed an acid to cut through the heaviness. A tiny bowl with some spicy peppers, and a couple of pickled carrot and cucumber slices was provided, but some pickled veggies should have been put on that sandwich instead. We also did not get another refill on water until we were in our way out the door. For the three items we ordered, we paid $67. I am glad I did not spend the $65 for the signature beef Wellington. If you canโt cook a burger properly, Iโm not convinced you can cook a signature dish properly. To be honest, my overpriced breakfast sandwich from Dunkin earlier in the day tasted better.
There were two of us.
We were there for a special celebration. We were a few minutes early for our reservation but promptly seated. However, after ten minutes I had to ask for a server as parties around us were being seated and received menus. We finally got a server. Nice girl but not very attentive. The busboy was more attentive and I hope he got some of the tip. The atmosphere is a little touristy, but that's to be expected in a northeast Connecticut Native American casino. Some of the patrons looked like they just woke up from the roulette table. Dress is not exactly business casual like you see on TV. You can purchase Hells Kitchen merchandise. The place was busy and there were families there. We weren't rushed during our meal. We both opted for the prix fixe menu choosing the scallops. The presentation of the food is beautiful. I appreciate cutting the scallops in half, but they're thin and only seared on one side. Flavorful, though. The beef Wellington was done nicely, but a little dry for what I expected. It just crumbled when I cut into it and there was no consistency to the mushroom herb coating. I'm not one for sauces on everything because it may be hiding something, but the sauce was just enough to enhance the flavor and definitely needed. I appreciate the root vegetables were perfectly round like a melon ball. Makes me think the place cares enough to add those little details. I'm still reeling from the sticky toffee pudding. The heavens opened up and the angels sang when I took the first bite. Oh...so...very...rich. All in all, it was a positive experience. I might go back for a special occasion and/or to try some of the other dishes. The flavors I tasted were delicious, but very rich. I boxed half of the Wellington and only took a few bites of the toffee pudding. The service could use a little training. I wasn't impressed. When I opt for fine dining, I don't mind paying a price, but I also expect a certain level of attention. I didn't get that, but that's also part of that touristy atmosphere.
BOOK IN ADVANCE! Ok now that we've gotten that out of the
BOOK IN ADVANCE! Ok now that we've gotten that out of the way let me just tell you how amazing this place is! We went for my birthday and had to go all out. Everything we ordered was delicious and worth the arm and the leg to get! Prices are steep but the quality is there! Ambiance is so fun! Dress seems to be whatever you decide- we saw casual attire to semi formal. We started with sharing the lobster risotto app. At first glance you are shocked at how small the actual dish is for an app to share but let me tell you that this is the BEST lobster and risotto we ever had. The lobster was super fresh, plump, and flavorful! You get a pretty big tail! The risotto was creamy and full of fun flavors. I'm not a huge truffle person but this was a great hint of it for me to enjoy it! For entrees we got their beef Wellington, short rib grilled cheese, and Mac and cheese. The star of the show was the Wellington. It was cooked to perfection and had the most delicious sauce paired with it. I am a huge fan!!!The short rib grilled cheese and Mac n cheese were super hearty and flavorful- you will definitely be full after these! For dessert we had to get their sticky toffee pudding. It was so nice that they put a candle in it for my birthday. Our server Keeley was so great to us! Thank you Foxwoods Hells Kitchen for a birthday to remember! Will be back!
This was the most memorable meal I've had in a very long
This was the most memorable meal I've had in a very long time, and we went during lunch. Victoria was the best server I have ever had. She was so personable, knowledgeable, and made us feel so welcome. She answered all of our questions and had excellent recommendations. She was the best! 2 people at my table got the 95$ appetizer, beef Wellington, and dessert deal. It was INCREDIBLE. The scallop appetizer was cooked to perfection, the beef Wellington was the best food I have ever put in my mouth and the toffee cake dessert was unlike anything I've ever ate. We also got the Hell's Kitchen burger which was the perfect amount of spice and the aioli for the fries was sooo good. The short rib grilled cheese was also delicious. Everything was just incredible. We went to celebrate my sisters 30th birthday and my mom's retirement and they gave my mom a free dessert cheesecake which was also incredible. I wish I could eat here once a week and amazing experience!!!
If you are having a hard time getting reservations I
If you are having a hard time getting reservations I suggest a week night if you're able. Super spacious and almost empty on a Tuesday night when I visited, and no waiting months for reservations! If you are looking to try the most popular dishes - I suggest the $95 pre fixe menu. Choice of pan seared scallops or beet salad for the appetizer, the Beef Wellington entree, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Everything was incredible. Couldn't pass up on the signature lobster risotto and tried the quinoa salad (which was a mountain of a serving). I have to add the service was some of the best I've experienced. Pricey, but for a one time experience and a high-end dinner I'd say it was worth the hype it gets.
I love the atmosphere, the food is amazing.
What keeps me come back are the employee. Bartenders Elis and Mikayla are the best and always remember us and by name. Our reservation time and requests were respected. We always start with the crab cake and drink at the bar, then dinner this time in the restaurant. Yesenia (hope I spelled that right) was our waitress and her recommendations were spot on, very attentive without being annoying. We both shared the shrimp cocktail was great and then the Beef Wellington. Since this restaurant is at a casino after dinner we played a little then went back to back for cappicino and some sticky toffee pudding. I love watching how this whole establishment runs like clockwork. Each employee relying and trusting that each is doing their job perfectly. Have visited his restaurants all over the US and we like this one best.
They charge their own tip - stealing!
Food was ok, crab cake was cool. Executive Chef came over to table - very generous of his time. However, whole event was ruined when they charged their own tip - I added a $50.00 tip and they charged $75.00. They are not guaranteed a specific tip for a party of 4 - Stealing!!!!!!!!
This was a dinner out we've been looking forward to since
This was a dinner out we've been looking forward to since this location opened a few months ago. There are definite pluses and minuses. The most tasty entree by far was the short ribs. The least tasty with almost no flavor was the salmon. We also had the signature Beef Wellington. The fillet was cooked perfectly. As for appetizers we sampled four. If you're a fan of the show you're familiar with the scallops. Ramsey has screamed and thrown these every season. I always wondered where they get such big lovely scallops. Well apparently they are in the same predicament here. The taste was exquisite but they were tiny. The Brussels were a table favorite as was the Mac and Cheese. The meatballs were a big hit. We had the potatoes as one of the sides. The first forkful was amazing. But in the end we agreed there was likely equal parts butter and salt and potatoes. Here are three common problems across the board. 1. Salt- nearly every dish over salted in many cases detracting from the taste. In the case of the potatoes inedible. Same with the coating on the Wellington. Most of the crust went uneaten. 2. Most were way over priced for the portions--a common practice with such famous establishments. 3. The plating was anything but as seen on tv. The short ribs were big brown bowl of food-even though the tastiest. As flavorful as many of the dishes were we all agreed the best of the night was the sticky toffee. We almost didn't get but at the last minute decided we had to try. Save room-you'll be glad you did. Jennifer was our server and she was awesome. The space was nice and pretty much as expected. It did get very loud when it filled up. With all the problems a fun experience.
Great food and great service!
We had a wonderful time celebrating my Mom's 75th birthday! The food was delish...Filet mignon and Beef wellington were delish! Perfectly cooked! Mac n cheese side is great! Of course the sticky toffee pudding! Beyond that, the service was impeccable. Our server, Keely, went above and beyond. We will def be back!
Food and service were both outstanding.
Alexis was our waitress and she was incredible - kind, attentive, and thoughtful. Worth the 2 month wait for our reservations!
Staff was friendly and warm.
The food was amazing. The whole place made you forget you were still in the casino. Such a calm environment with nice music playing. Had a great time and will be back with the rest of the family.
The best Food I have EVER had.
The Filet mignion was to die for and was perfectly cooked, the scallops were absolutely amazing and were without a doubt the best I have ever had by a mile, and the dessert which was sticky toffee pudding with ice cream on top was also one of the best and most delicious desserts I have ever had. The dessert was perfectly made it wasn't too soggy and wasn't too dry, absolutely perfect meal. The service was also one of the best places I have ever been. For example, when we got there the waitress asked if we are celebrating any occasion and we said it was two members in our groups birthday celebration, not thinking anything of it, but after dinner the waitress came with two complementary sticky toffee puddings with a candle. Finally, the ambiance was also extremely cool with it looking just like the shows restaurants and there being nice decorations.
Food is amazing and the service is even better.
I had the beef Wellington and it was unique and extremely tasty. Make sure to get the Brussels sprouts as a side. Additionally I'm not a lobster risotto person but it was exceptional. Finally, Kimberly was a spectacular waitress! Definitely the best service around!
Disappointed
Nothing to brag about, over priced, Filet Mignon was average for a steak house but certainly not worth the price being served without a side, bake mac & cheese was excellent, cheese cake with apple & caramel was also great. My first and last time there. My favorite is MJ's sports bar at Mohegan for a casino restaurant.
Underwhelming and Very Disappointing Beef Wellington
Being fans of good Beef Wellington including preparing at home for special dinners, we went here specifically for that. For all of Gordon's promotion of his great Beef Wellington and recipe, this was not per his published recipe and it was indeed underwhelming! It was simply a piece of beef fillet wrapped in pastry - no mushrooms, no duxelle, no shallots, no parma ham and very little sauce. While the fillet was decent, the dish certainly wasn't a proper Beef Wellington - it was a small fillet wrapped in pastry period. We all were very disappointed and never again.
Bad Experience
Food was subpar and not very good. For a high end restaurant we were highly disappointed with the food quality. I came here for my birthday with my boyfriend and was disappointed with the outcome. We spent a decent amount of money for the two of us.
Average
Was expecting much more after eating in Hells Kitchen Las Vegas. No complaints about the waitstaff, but the food was not up to par. My wellington was raw and after returning it the replacement was not much better. The sauce was quite salty and the toffee pudding was good but way too sweet.
Falling Star?
I've eaten here three times for lunch only. The menu is short and somewhat difficult to choose from. I found the food choices had issues ranging from overpowering garlic on the mushroom pizza, meatball app was tough and very chewy and some croutons in the caesar salad were in excusably and obviously stale. The Hell's Kitchen burger was odd, is the word I would use, with ingredients that didn't go together well. I had higher expectations considering the brand and I could do better at home. As far as the high reviews go, perhaps dinner is a better option but I am wary about the average diner's palate.
