One of the Best restaurants in Vegas
By far the best prime rib in Vegas, great NY, great Cesar.Salad, Great crab cakes, go there every time I am in Vegas, getting known and now really crowded I have eaten in all the best restaurants in MGM casinos and it is by far the best
Be the first to ReplyGreat steaks in Las Vegas
Everything was perfect from A to Z. Reservation - service - steaks. Sure, the Gallagher is definitely on the higher end in terms of price (Homestead in Caesars Palace is perhaps even more expensive) but the Filet Mignon center cut was not only cooked exactly as ordered, but also superbly seasoned, which is unfortunately not what we are used to. Conclusion: 9.8 out of 10 possible points!
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, service, and value
Food was very good and the service was great too. I don’t what these mother reviews are complaining about. The prices are a little lower than other fine steakhouses in Vegas. But the ambience is just ok and not as nice as the tip line restaurants. The New York location which I’ve eaten at has nicer ambience. I would come back but it’s not my first choice.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointed
We were looking forward to celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary at Gallagher’s. We anticipated a great dining experience. We ordered cocktails, calamari, a wedge salad to share and a tomahawk steak medium rare. Our cocktails were quickly delivered to our table ALONG with the calamari and wedge salad. One might debate the progression and timing of service but in this case, we immediately felt rushed. Additionally, the much anticipated tomahawk steak was well seasoned but very tough. Gallaghers will be a once and done for us.

An incredible destination where you need to consider eating at. The service is incredible, old school if you would, where the entire service staff delivers your tables food.
Be the first to ReplyGreat no frills NY steak house
Went with 20’s daughter and son. Great no frills NY steak house they got us in and out quickly. Told the waiter we had to get to the Mad Apple show which was amazing as well. Daughter loved the beef short ribs good portion for her. Recommend highly.
Be the first to ReplyRESTAURANT OF CHOICE WHENEVER IN VEGAS!!!!
My wife’s restaurant of choice whenever in Vegas. Wife Loves the prime rib and when she is happy, everyone’s happy. Never had a problem with their food or presentation and the service is impeccable. Be back in June 2024.
Be the first to ReplyPrepare to be over charged for everything
Everything is bad and overpriced paid like $60 for 2 bagels and 2 orange juices. I dont know how they can justify that and they still expect people to tip. Dont waste your money on rubbish hotel food, just go to mackies or Denny’s and save a fortune
Be the first to ReplyTerrible steak for 2 of us at table
They get 1 star for food, worst steak I have ever gotten, ordered a Cowboy Ribeye medium & another guy at our table also ordered steak. Both came with no seasoning. Had to ask for A1 which shouldn't be needed in any great steakhouse. They forgot to season the steaks. They apologized but offered to make new steaks but could be 30min since the kitchen was backed up. We decided to use the A1 & choke the meat down since they cost like 68 bucks. When I was half way through.....noticed the steak was raw so called the management to see & he agreed. I asked if they wanted to show the 👨 🍳 as an example of what not to serve...they charged us half price but really we shouldn't of been charged for those poor steaks. Super bowl weekend & we expected more...:(
Be the first to ReplyAmazing atmosphere and service!
Excellent service and atmosphere. My steak seemed to lack flavor and in my opinion was undercooked for a medium rare. The waiter explained by their standard the rareness was their medium rare. Others at May table agreed with me that my steak looked very rare and encouraged me to send it back. I looked back at what I could see of their menu online and it does not include their doneness standard. Every photo I found of doneness standard is consistent with my belief of medium rare. I don’t often order steaks out because I can cook them better myself at home on my Green Egg. I felt safe in ordering at a steak house only to be disappointed. I would have given 4.5 stars because the balance of the meal was excellent.
Be the first to ReplyWorst steakhouse experience ever
Worst experience ever for a steakhouse. First ordered an Irish Mule (versus Moscow Mule). watered down to the max. Sent it back. Next version. Less watered down- but having given my expectation to the staff= 50/50 scotch + ginger beer = weak Bone in strip loin. Never heard of a bone in strip loin. Ordered medium rare = arrived extra rare = almost blue. Spoke with the manager - returned. They "re-cooked" the same piece of meat. Second time was rare. Spoke to the manager again. He agreed both times with my summation. Offered to replace or something new. After 90 mins I was done re-ordering anything. Worst experience ever in terms of a steakhouse Side note: not indicated when reserving. Restaurant is under construction/renovation. Crammed into a small noisy room (seating approximately 60). So noisy, couldn't hear my partner speaking. Not to mention the service staff tripping over themselves. Worst experience ever... Would not recommend or return. Management did not charge for the steak. However, charged for the Irish Mule + scotch (versus replacing the vodka with scotch)
Be the first to ReplyI hope the remodel helps
I hope the remodel is a better experience when complete. We were squished at a two top along a wall right next to the door with 3 other two tops. Intimate conversation was impossible. Usual offerings of steak and chicken with a la carte items. Wine list was small. No specials, if there were the waiter did not tell us. I ordered a sparkling wine, brought to the table very full, but must have been the last of the bottle, almost no bubbles. Calamari was fried and haphazardly put on a plate with a small square ramekin of marinara sauce. It was ok. The selection of bread was good, but the ramekin of almost frozen butter made it hard to spread. Cesar salad was good, they split the salad on 2 plates as requested. I’m not in the least bit cheap, but I do not like leftovers when out of town. Malbec was good, not decanted. Ribeye was good, although we had to split it ourselves. The creamed spinach was lackluster. One grapey port offered on the menu. We had a crime brûlée which was a standard in many restaurants. One find thing, we both ordered coffee and got our own little pots. Visit the washroom before you go, the walk is long. We made friends with the couple next to us, how could we not? No recommendations from the waitstaff. Watch out for the photo lady, 137.00 for photos… say no right away if you are not interested. We will visit again when it’s renovated.
Be the first to ReplyA Las Vegas Favorite
Always first choice for steak in Las Vegas. The food is superb and the service is usually very good.....(however once the server was too "phony friendly" but it was more amusing than annoying). THey are closed now for remodeling and I hope they don't ruin the old style atmosphere I liked so much. Already planning my next visit and hope they will be open by late summer.
Be the first to ReplyGreat New York steak house
Gallaghers Steak House in Vegas is a must-visit for steak lovers. The ambiance is classic New York steak house, perfect for a special occasion. The menu boasts an impressive selection of juicy, perfectly cooked steaks, all aged to perfection. The sides and sauces are also delicious, complementing the steaks perfectly. The service was top-notch, with the waitstaff knowledgeable and attentive. The wine list is extensive and pairs perfectly with the food. Overall, Gallaghers Steak House is a fantastic dining experience and I highly recommend it.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious Steak
My friend and I both ordered the dry aged New York strip. It was one of the most delicious steaks I’ve ever had… that wonderful char. My baked potato was a bit under and the wines by the glass were unimpressive, but the steak made up for all of that.
Be the first to ReplyFood/Service not what I expected
My food took forever to come out. Steaks I ordered were nothing but fat, I personally wouldn’t come here again.

After having been at Gallagher's in NYC, with amazing service and one of the best Porterhouse steaks I've ever had, I was pleased to discover that there was a Gallagher's at the New York New York Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. I immediately reserved a table for 2, expecting to have the same wonderful experience as I had in NYC. We arrived on time and, after waiting 15 minutes, were shown to our table. After a few minutes the server came to take our orders - Porterhouse steah and filet mignon. We waited MORE THAN ONE HOUR for our food to arrive. I complained to the manager, who informed me that this can happen and offered me a measly beer as compensation. The only reason we did not get up and leave at this point was that I assumed that the steak (when it arrived) would be as fantastic as the one in NYC, and would be worth the wait. I was sorely dissapointed when both the Porterhouse and the filet mignon were dry and tasteless. In Las Vegas there are many great steakhouses. This one does not deserve to be mentioned in the same breath.

Looked forward to a great steak at a fine steakhouse. Got neither. For some reason the "network" was bogged down and we ended up scurrying to our 7:00 show from our 5:00 reservation! Busy place as the rodeo was in town, I'm guessing. Steak was okay. Got apologies from wait staff. Seems he was used to the feedback. Had a great show and will go back to NY, NY, but not to Gallagher's.
Be the first to ReplyTop class top steak top service
We had Scott as our server and he was 10/10 what he recommended from the menu, we had and it was fantastic. He had a lovely manner and made us feel like his friends and made our night. The food was 10/10 and worth every dollar. It is an expensive restaurant but we’ll worth the bill. We now been to both NYC And Las Vegas Gallaghers and have been equally impressed with the service and quality of food. Thanks to the staff and chefs who work really hard to make the Gallaghers experience what it is.
Be the first to ReplyFabulous steaks
The food is excellent, brilliant wine list (if a little overpriced) and the waiting staff are top notch - Scott is a great representation of the positives. If you can see past the slightly frosty front of house staff, it will be worth your wait.
Be the first to ReplyGallagher's Steakhouse is a MUST when in Vegas
Located in New York, New York, this is one if not the best steak joints in all of Las Vegas. You must come here and experience the wait staff and their above average service and attention to your tables need.
Be the first to ReplyGood food and very good service
First off here is our overall experience. We made our reservation early since we were going to the Mad Apple show. We were seated in the rear next to the servers and public bathroom. It was not busy in this area so we quickly ordered and got our drinks and bread. After sitting for a few minutes we noticed a nasty smell every time someone went to the bathroom. We asked the server to move us to a better location and they promptly got us a table close to the kitchen. They didn't seem happy about moving us but acted professional and took care of us nonetheless. We had a different server and he was great! Omar was very professional and was on top of everything from the time we sat down. About the food: 1st off the bread they serve is delicious. They have a cranberry nut bread that is outstanding. You'll have a hard time putting it down! For dinner we ordered the pork chop and salmon. We opted for the bacon Mac and cheese and parmasan garlic fries. The Mac and cheese was one of the best I've tried! It's right up there with the lobster Mac and cheese from Capitol Grill and Fleming's. The fries were dry and had very little taste so stay away from these. For dessert we ordered the new york cheesecake and it was excellent. Overall it was a nice meal with great service. I wouldn't eat here again with all the other choices in Vegas but if you're looking for a nice meal, Gallagher's is a good choice.
Be the first to ReplyBest dinner ever!!
Dinner started with drinks: pomegranate lemon drop martini. It was perfect. Ordered the tomahawk steak which was perfectly prepared. The service Brian and Jon provided was amazing. Everything was delicious!!
Be the first to ReplyNot worth the price for the hype we heard.
So we were there in June, we had tickets to see Mad Apple, the new Cirque de Soleil show, (btw go see the show its fantastic.) We made reservation for 2 hours before the show, giving us time to be seated and eat. Our server was fantastic, attentive, pleasant, and informative. I ordered a caesars salad for an appetizer. The lettuce was yellow and old, the dressing was on point, but only the dressing was actually good. I ordered a bison steak and the wife orcered a filet mignon. I asked for it to be cooked medium, my wife medium well. We ordered pureed potatoes and garlic broccolini. About 30 minutes later our food arrives. My steak came rare and cold, my wifes steak was well done and dry. The potatoes had no flavor at all. Having dined at craftsteak often, we thought the potatoes would be at least on par with craftsteak, we were wrong. No matter how much salt or pepper we added it was just bland. The broccolini was quite good. We had 40 min until show time so we just ate it and had to run. Not having the time to wait for new steaks to be cooked, or new potatoes to be made correctly. We have eaten most of the best steakhouses in Vegas, and this by far was the worst. The service was fantastic, our server I tipped well, but the food was terrible.I could not reccomend gallaghers to any of my friends, it was just that bad.
Be the first to ReplyAll-Around Excellent!
Second visit here and even better than last time. Service great. My NY steak and wife’s Prime Rib both excellent. Yum. Both had Caesar Salads too. Nice atmosphere and great experience. We plan to make it a yearly event around our anniversary. Excellent. Recommended.
