This Forum Seafood Restaurant is definitely a place to avoid. The HUGE menu board shows roasted whole chicken but when you order the whole chicken, the portion is really small, between a Cornish hen and a regular chicken. Forum Seafood charges a whopping $38 for a tad bit larger than a Cornish hen and this their "so called" whole chicken. I told the manager that I'd ordered a whole chicken because I am prepared to pay $38 for a whole chicken but his whole chicken is way smaller than a regular sized chicken. He said he would refund me the money. But how am I going to eat my dinner with only rice and veggies without any meat? I do not want a refund; I insisted on getting what I paid for, but definitely not a small whole chicken. The manager finally admitted that their whole chicken is a spring chicken. Voila! Confession from the restaurant manager!I questioned the manager why wasn't it clearly stated on his HUGE menu board "whole SPRING roasted chicken" for $38. For him to indicate only Whole roasted chicken is outright deceiving! Unsuspecting diners like me will easily walk into his money-wheeling trap! A hungry person makes an angry person. The manager finally relented, apologized and offered to charge $15 instead of $38 for a whole SPRING roasted chicken. I am writing this review with the hope that the management at Forum Restaurant will improve on their menu description and stop deceiving unsuspecting diners. The Singapore government definitely would not want unsuspecting tourists to have bad experiences/tastes at restaurants in popular touristy sites like boat quay, Clark quay, etc.
