First time eating at Finz and it won't be my last!! The service was fantastic and the food was even better. I had a shrimp bowl and the portion was very generous and delicious! It was also nice to look out at the water while we ate!

Finz had the best piece of flounder I've ever had!!! The only complaint is with the hot crap dip. They plated the dip and arranged with bread pieces, and popped it in the oven for a few minutes to toast the bread. It had great potential with taste, but the bread was half toasted and the dip was cold.

We love to go here because they have the best fried oysters and shrimp! The service was fast and friendly. They also had fresh red snapper that day and it was delicious. One of our favorites when visiting Beaufort.
Really, this place was a joke as far as service.
I am not the only one I have talked to saying the service has really started to go downhill. Hope they work on it because it is a staple in the town and the service needs to be polished up before the locals don't even go there.

Amazing food, excellent service! The food came quickly and the outdoor seating was comfortable. So good we stopped in twice on our vacation!

I absolutely loved eating here the patio is beautiful the food is amazing, im seriously impressed with their menu. and the service there was great. If had to recommend any restaurant in Beaufort it's definitely Finz.
So we were looking forward to trying Finz.
Waited to be seated for sometime. No one came. Waitress came by "someone will help you " waited some more another waitress "someone will help you". Number three waitress, same thing. Number four waitress, same. Finally a bored, disinterested hostess showed up. She said the wait will be 15 minutes. We said we were waiting there already for 15. We went somewhere else.
Our server was so rude.
We had one drink, paid and left before we even ate. Ended up at another restaurant which offered a much better experience.
Wonderful.
My favorite fried seafood - shrimp, flounder, oysters. And an excellent shrimp burger.
Lovely ambiance on the water.
Food was good as was the service . I loved that it was a converted gas station. It was charming.
I enjoyed a good shrimp dinner at Finz.
A beach bar atmosphere. Nice waitress. I would go back.
Crabcake sandwich was good with dill remoulade.
Waitress was great. Wife had the chicken Front Street wrap and liked it. Fried pickles were awesome. Ate outside on waterfront.

Finz = Terrible Terrible service Terrible food We didn't get silverware and napkins until we were 3/4 done with our meal, if you call it a meal. Our server was very nice but not so attentive. The only thing this place has going for them is the view, but don't get me wrong you pay for that in the food. Would I go back you ask? Absolutely most definitely not!

Ordered crab fritters, excellent, vodka soda, soda was flat, strawberry daiquiri average at best, chicken quesadilla awful, bartender very distracted and disappeared for a while , staff used the bar as a break room , go somewhere else
Well, this places employees need some serious training.
Walking up there was at least 5 people standing out front smoking. The hostess was sitting at a table on her phone when we walked in and sat us. The place was definitely not busy - But we never were greeted by our waitress - So we just left after 20 minutes. There wasn't a good reason someone couldn't have grabbed waters or even acknowledged us to tell us they'd be with us. Anyways, we ended up going to Mezcalito down the street though, they were amazing!
This place sucks.
Food is horrible. The food takes forever. Bartender with black curly hair is super rude. Sorry excuse of a bar tender. Looks like a dump.

Hey, hey this was better than expected based on other reviews! They have a great seating deck with a view of the water. Service was a little slow, but our waitress was kind. I always thought this place was a bar, but was surprised to see they have a pretty extensive menu. Lots of seafood options. The bar area is actually pretty small and closes at 8! I think the live music outside with people drinking mislead me. We had the shrimp and grits, which I would totally order again! I've had shrimp and grits a million ways and this was more of MY preferred style. More breakfast style grits with bacon and butter, added peppers and onion, tail off shrimp (I hate tail on if it's a dish I want to be stirred together) covered in a cheesy savory sauce ! I'm not convinced the grits weren't instant, but I was honestly very happy with it. We also had the fried shrimp basket which was not bad. However, for the same price we'd rather get it at another local place that we prefer. Slaw is slightly sweet and tarter sauce is homemade, but not my favorite slightly sweet also. Prob try something else next time. We'll be back im sure!

We entered the restaurant a bit after 7:30 and the restaurant was closing at 8pm. We asked to be seated and we're treated so incredibly rude by the hostess. It was like we were a bother to her and she did not want to help us. We even asked again to be seated and were given an even more rude response the next time. If I owned this restaurant, I would have fired this hostess on the spot. A true shame of the customer service industry! Finz will not be getting my business any longer.

On our way to put our name down for outside seating, we were greeted with the most rude hostess. She was rude, unpleasant and definitely ready to go home. I would fire her on the spot for treating any customers as she did. Totally profiled our group. Unfortunate and unacceptable. Too bad for the owner they have such unwilling and lazy staff. The hostess is the face of the restaurant and quickly she deterred good customers from their restaurant. I would not suggest eating here due to the hostess alone!
Food is mediocre.
I had the oyster sandwich and it was awful. Breading the oysters and frying them didn't do them any favors. they had a rancid taste poorly masked by the thick breading. Oyster:bread ratio was way off. My husband had a flounder/crab cake combo and both things were not good. The flounder tasted like a soggy frozen filet that was baked in its thawing juices. The crab cake was just as bad, probably over mixed, no sign of lump crab meat. Just a seafood/mayonnaise flavored fried blob. My daughter had the ahi tuna bowl. What a mess. The tuna was poorly seared (over cooked) and sat atop a bed of rice and black beans. Why? Just a plate of clashing flavors. The hot crab dip was the only thing out of the 5 entrees our party ordered that was palatable. The service was good, prompt, and polite-ish. I wanted to like this place but the food needs serious help. It's a neat little place on the waterfront. Will I return? Maybe. But only for drinks and the crab dip.
The food was absolutely amazing.
We went for dinner around 5:30 on a Thursday. No wait for our party of 5. We sat outside which was perfect for the kids to sit and watch the boats come in. Shrimp and grits were good but missing the spice. The pina colada was amazing. The coco loco wasn't strong at all but the description made it sound like it would be. The waitress did forget to put in our order of firecracker shrimp. She ended up giving it to us for free. Overall still one of our favorites places
