Came on a Saturday evening for happy hour (goes until 8pm!)
Came on a Saturday evening for happy hour (goes until 8pm!) and it was quite busy, but we only had to wait ~10 min for a table for three outside. The outdoor seating is very cute, albeit a little cramped. Food: Coconut shrimp (5/5): exactly what you'd expect, very tasty Beef carpaccio (6/5): SO good, whatever dressing they put on the beef was delicious, and the fresh salad on top was great Garlic truffle fries (3/5): needed salt, nice and crispy, way too much raw garlic on top Salmon toasts: (3/5): kinda burnt toast, salmon was good but overall the dish was nothing crazy ***their decaf coffee is INCREDIBLE, highly recommend ending your meal with it! Note: the service is very slow so budget some time especially if you want to get extra drinks after your meal. You could say it's ~European~

Always something amazing to try in the French and Italian dept. Cafe even great. All beef dishes splendid, Happy hour menu great to try almost everything and burgers really good. Hidden gem.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was outstanding and the latte?! To die for.
Service was average but good for LA. The atmosphere is cozy and "writeresque."Wish I lived closer to enjoy it on a weekly basis.

Vey expensive and nothing special, always bypass seeing many people sitting at the patio. Always wanted to try, but really disappointed, food was pretty so so, pasta was around $16 but was only the pastas with cheese, no meat or anything at all! Truffle fries were $8 and it was the exact same fries McDonald serves, with some truffle oil, nothing special. With the so so good, below average customer and the price is on the higher end. Our service person was pretty rude and always in a rush and didn't listen well and answered in a kind of rough tone. With this pricing, I have enjoyed so much much better more tasty food elsewhere, with nice vibe great food and great service, plus nice environment.
Be the first to ReplyI love this place.
It's charming, it's delicious and a spot for locals to sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee. Parking is hard to find to be honest, at all times of day. I believe it's the locals who live close by that walk here that frequent Figaro. We were lucky enough to find parking on a Tuesday morning most recently. We ordered pasta, a hot chocolate and a coffee. My favorite time of day to eat here is evening. The inside of the bistro is gorgeous, and makes me feel like I'm in Paris. It's old and full of charm. The service is great, and we receive our orders fairly fast. Definitely check this place out, but Uber if you can.
Be the first to ReplyA delightful French bistro in Los Feliz.
Went for lunch with my wife and we will absolutely be back. The ambiance is very relaxed and it reminded us of some of our favorite spots in Paris. The service was attentive, and the food did not disappoint. We look forward to returning for dinner.

Food was not good, the mussel were in water basically and rosemary, which was gross. The fries tasted like frozen cooked in a microwave. The waiter was terrible, rude, everything took forever. He did not care.

Stepping in here is like being transported to a cute bistro in actual France. They got the look down! They also have the best of both worlds, cute cafe/restaurant as well as a full bar area. We stopped in for a drink which was delicious. I don't remember the name as we just asked the bartender to make us her best tequila based cocktail. She was super nice and chatted a bit with us. The only thing I would change is their seating. Not enough for the bar area and their patio is crammed with too many tables. Other than it was a nice time here
Be the first to ReplyReliable French food.
Always tastes good, always fresh. French onion soup is really good here, the carpaccio is great as well.
Be the first to ReplyI came here with my husband for the first time.
We were greeted in a welcoming way. The atmosphere was fun and cozy. We had some drinks and desserts which tasted very good. I had a few espresso martinis and I will definitely be back for more soon. A must try in a famous location.
Be the first to ReplyA great place to be.
Great vibe with great ambiance. The service was excellent and the food is awesome. I had a few old fashions and it was perfectly made. I really recons this place even if you have to spend some time to get here. Highly recommend for the service.

Average food, but the service and atmosphere made this an enjoyable experience. That being said, I won't be making any efforts to revisit this spot.

Great place to order takeout or dine in during the week, and also very enjoyable on weekends when eating at the restaurant. Their sweet chocolate crepe is the best dessert, don't forget to try that. The owner is super friendly and his staff and waiters are friendly and great. I highly recommend this place for any food lover

The Rundown: cozy atmosphere with a varied menu allowing you to explore various french tastes. The Review: when visiting a friend they recommended this place. My expectations were rather high, since she was from France herself. The atmosphere itself is very cozy - from the cute tables outside to the warmly out interior with lots of classic personality. We happened to arrive during an evening happy hour and tried various items from the back to share- carpaccio, escargot, fries to name a few. Everything was excellent and the service was friendly and pleasant! My favorite was the creme brulee. I'm not a big fan of the dessert in general but apparently I haven't had proper style because this was excellent.Overall it was a great experience all around and I would definitely recommend. When it came time for the bill though we were never given a copy of the receipt so definitely make sure if you'd like a copy that you ask before they take the machine away because once the bill was settled it was difficult to get to someone.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food, great quality and good service.
I got the salmon and veggies highly recommended. I have a very specific diet so it's always great to find new restaurants nearby with great quality food. There desserts looked amazing too.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing ambience.
For French foods, I hear it's good. However I don't eat meat. I was encouraged by the vegetarian options. However, the vegetarian options were not great. The quality, the taste, just relaxing. Almost as if they just wanted to add a vegetarian option on the menu, but didn't really put a full-fledged effort into making it amazing. The service was amazing and my friends really liked their omnivore French options.
Be the first to ReplyHad espresso and pastries.
Both were delicious and service was awesome. Love the look and ambience of the this spot.
Be the first to ReplyHuge menu with tons of choices for both brunch and dinner.
Food is amazing! I was here for brunch and keep eyeing the dinner menu. Will need to come back for dinner times!
Be the first to ReplyMy husband and I are loyal customers.
For more than 22 years. Although it could not compete with the other better French restaurants in Los Angeles, we still loved it and kept going. It was not too expensive and it was pretty decent. We loved the pastries, the thin crunchy fries, the mussels, the pasta, the bread, the decor. Figaro has a new owner now. We met him. He was sweet and very friendly. We told him, please don't change the menu and the decor. Recently, I bought a chocolate croissant, a pain au raisin, and a loaf of bread. The chocolate croissant and the pain au raisin were $6 each and the loaf of bread was $7. I think these are way over-priced. The loaf of bread was under-baked. I don't post reviews on Yelp but it made me sad that the bread was under-baked. It is a French restaurant and I would love to expect better-baked bread. I don't know if they have a new baker. If the owner is reading this, please tell the baker about the bread. :( The over-priced croissant, pain au raisin and loaf of under-baked bread makes me wonder if I will go back. :(

This has been our favorite dining, hangout, chill place to be for almost a year now since we moved back to this area. We love happy hours Monday and Wednesday but it doesn't stop us from coming other nights when we want to dine out. Menu is amazing a lot of variety to choose from never disappoints. Did I mention happy hour? Lol they have a big menu for food and drinks. So far my favs have been the branzino, shrimp risotto, steak salad delicious. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming you literally feel like you're walking into family. Marianne and Sebastian are amazing I can't imagine not seeing them at least twice a week they just brighten my Monday's. Thank you Figaro !!
Be the first to ReplyRed bearded buy seats me outside.
I wait, wait, wait. Three times he comes out, looks right at me from 12 feet away, goes to other tables, adjusts a chair. Goes in. Comes out again, looks in my direction, doesn't even approach. I leave.

Love, love, love this spot! Amazing location and ambience, with the perfect price point. Fell in love the moment I saw the sidewalk, bistro patio- perfect for people watching and taking in Vermont Village. We come here frequently on happy hour nights for a few cocktails, and snacks! Also highly recommend the French onion soup!
Be the first to ReplyThis was the best French restaurant I've neen to in the US.
