Fahrenheit Charlotte Reviews from The Last Year

Listen: If Fahrenheit was on the ground floor of a building, they would either A. Get their act together or B. close. Every single aspect of my visit to this place was mid, at best. I went on a the Saturday before St. Paddy's day and the restaurant was "busy." We ordered two sour beers at 9.00 a pop. Those beers took over 20 minutes to come and they were in a can!!! Now, I'm far from bougie but a least pour my canned beer into a damn glass! The bread and oil took even longer but it was truly the highlight of our dining experience. We ordered the cauliflower, 18 dollars of pure, unadulterated, I could've made this myself and it would've tasted better-ness. We also ordered the ceviche. Which cost 38 American dollars, it came out on a big plate full of ice with a light under it. Then four small plates with some kind of nasty coleslaw-esque thing that was supposed to have lobster in it. 1 with a few pieces of baby shrimp and I can't even tell you what was in the other plate. And the chips? Well, I've had better chips from the deli section at the back of Food Lion. My husband had the lobster Mac and cheese and I had the braised ribs with lo mein... Both underwhelming, flavorless and overpriced. We spent almost 200.00 on this mess and I'm sure we would've had a better dinner date at the Harris Teeter buffet station.

Food was average , but way overpriced as well as the drinks Will not return. The main attraction is the view. Service was lagging terribly
Went here for a few cocktails after dinner.
It was packed, but the views were definitely phenomenal. I was disappointed that we never did make it in for dinner. Unfortunately, no reservations were available the weekend we were there. If you're looking for a cool spot to enjoy an awesome cocktail and amazing views, this is definitely it...however, I would recommend a weeknight instead of the weekend since it does get extremely busy and loud.
Made reservation and seated in 10min.
Bread was amazing. Food and drinks were average for price point.

We were going to a show at the Spectrum Center, and just needed a place to grab a little something before going in. So..... We headed to Fahrenheit just to sit at the bar and have a drink and some appetizers. The location is good, but the view is the selling point. In many cases, a restaurant would not even bother to put forth any effort after that. People will come for the views.... But, here they did not. The food we had was absolutely stellar! Delicious....... And the service was as grand as the food and the views. Shannon knows how to make the customer feel welcome..... Thank you.
Just based of the menu food seemed to be very overpriced.
Based of of service this place is a hard NO for us. Arrived at 7pm asked for a table for two(seeing at least 15 tables open. Told we could wait or sit at the bar. We choose the bar(only 6 other ppl at the bar) ordered two drinks and started looking at the menu. Decided what to order and then NOTHING. Four people behind the bar and not a single one ask if we were ready to order. Settled the tab and left. More than willing to drop $150 but not willing to be ignored. Told hostess why we were leaving and all she said was good night.
This restaurant has a nice environment, great views, and good food
Farenheight is a rooftop restaurant in uptown charlotte. Finding parking for this restaurant is difficult, but I would recommend the paid parking lot across from the main entrance of the Hyatt. To get to the restaurant you go through the hotel and take a elavator to the top floor. I would recommend arriving 5 to 10 minutes early for parking and getting to the restaurant. The environment is dark and ultramodern and there are no walls just windows with breathtaking views. There is also a full bar. I had the wagyu short rib bao buns and they were amazing. They also have daily dessert specials.

Visited twice in a row while in Charlotte nc for a long weekend! Food and drinks were awesome. Staff were amazing and kind!
Here for the views and sips.
i didn't eat since i had other plans . You should reserve because it's a busy spot ( but must book with credit card .) Take the elevator up and forget about it.

Seen this place in a couple recommendation so I decided to give it a try. Because of the view, and they only open at night and brunch on Sunday, and seatings are limited. you have to reserve online Once you get off the elevator at the top floor, you can already see the charlotte skyline through all the glass windows. Food are ok, the lobster mac and cheese that I see other people have looks mid. Braised short ribs are very popular and is very good. Meat is very tender and well marinated. You just have to pick the popular items that they have consistent quality control and not from daily special. Overprice drink menu are terrible. Better stick with regular drink like old fashioned instead of their special cocktail. Place is loud as hell too, can't hear anything. Focus is the city skylight and food and drink maybe just secondary And parking, you can valet or park on the city lot next to the hotel. Or you can take the train and walk a couple of blocks.
Go for a cocktail and the fantastic patio view. Then LEAVE
Although there is a lot of unfavorable reviews for this restaurant, I used the Queen City Feast specials to check it out. 1. View: excellent and probably best in the city. 2. Decor: OK but not great. The view out the windows makes it up. Very noisy as there is lots of hard surfaces (windows, wood ceiling, etc). DB scale average of 81. 3. Seating: originally was assigned to a table that looks into the kitchen....yikes. Waited for a window table as that is what you are presumable there for. Note: table was 3 inches too high for the chairs, so you are eating at chest level. 4. Food: appetizer, entree, and deserts were very good to excellent from all four of us. 5. Wait Staff: needs major improvement (especially for the price of meals and drinks). In general, not very attentive to providing excellent service. Waiter takes your order and checks in from time to time so not bad. Delivery of food is by kitchen "servers" and not supervised by the waiter. So guess what? Servers were clueless. Appetizer course - one was incorrect and the strange question: "which of you gets this?" Main course: servers went to another table and started to pass things out. Suddenly realized that it was the wrong table so collected the items and came over to us. Again the same question: "which of you ordered this?" Dessert course: correct items delivered (with the same question) but no silverware!! Waved the waiter over and he produced 4 forks about 10 minutes later. 6. Check out time: waiter came with our separate (2 couples) bills. Each couple provided CC. Waiter returned and gave folder with CC to wrong couple. BTW, they automatically add 20% service charge to your tab and then allow you to add another 2 - 7% extra in appreciation of your great service. Recommendation: although food is good, you might want to just go up to the 21st floor, grab a drink at the bar and enjoy the outside patio. (Drinks are $20+ so depending on your wallet you might want to sip slowly). Then ride the elevator back down and go to another restaurant. There are numerous great takes in Charlotte with better food and GREAT SERVICE.
Worst (although we had great expectations)
Thought it would be great, but after we sat at the bar, they didn’t have the wine we ordered and once we ordered a second choice, we wound up walking after 20 minutes of no one paying attention or serving us. We will never be back.
Did not enjoy as much as we should have
The menu is lovely, however totally inconsistent. We ordered the 'Waygu' beef appetizer (in which I understand the cost of Waygu) but this was tiny & thinner than a piece of paper, big waste of money & the tuna nachos were humongous in which the server could have mentioned as we really over ordered and wasted a bunch of food. Following our no-personality server, the rest of the service was awful! Absolutely no attention to detail as the food came out and they threw plates in front of us without even knowing or asking who ordered what, it's a pet peeve as that is part of their job to give the right dish to the right person, it's not that hard to be organized. I am glad I tried this restaurant as I can see it's a hot spot, however I would not go back.
Spectacular views but dining experience is overpriced
The views are spectacular. Period. We shared a few appetizers. Tempura shrimp was underwhelming. We couldn't find the "tempura". Just fried shrimp on a bed of lettuce. We enjoyed the nachos with tuna and also the cauliflower. For main course, I had the short ribs, which I enjoyed. Other three members of our party had the branzino, which was OK; mahi mahi, which she liked and another short ribs entree. We had a significant (too long) wait between appetizers and main courses. Approximately 45 min. Strangely, complimentary bread was brought to the table between appetizers and main courses. We could see the kitchen and wait staff through the windows. I noticed one waiter going through his hair with his hands on several occasions while waiting for next order to bring out. Not sure if that is very sanitary..... All in all, the food was OK but significantly overpriced. The dining room is very noisy, even when not all tables were occupied. We could not have a conversation where all four diners could understand each other. I would definitely go back but not for dining. My recommendation: order a drink at the bar and enjoy the views on their patio area.
Second and last time.
The butter and the night view are what you pay for. Group of 18. The waitress kept reminded us that was going to take our orders. We had a preset menu for the group to expedite the meal. Over an hour to get a salad and 2 hours wait to get the main meal. The plan is to sell overpriced watered down drinks. $20 but add taxes and "service fees" $35. Thats not including tip. The bar area was busy. The food was edible. Sirloin we chose were all cooked the same. No option. No steak knives at the tables. The sides were cold to luke warm. Mashed potatoes were dry with a large cold pat of butter, no salt or pepper at the tables. The best food was the pita bread and the butter. We asked to pull the shade before sunset and the waiter pushed the sunset, while half the restaurant was blinded by the direct sunlight. 7pm enter, left close to 11 pm. The worst part was the waitress combined the entire ticket. She never asked how ring the ticket. There was an hour of waiting for her and two other waitresses to sort out the ticket and settle the bills. They kept coming back to the table give the remaining balance instead of getting all the bills at once. Absolutely ridiculous. That was my second and last time going. I'm not sure what happened from 3 years ago but this place needs some changes. There is no need to complain to the staff anymore. Then again I'll copy and paste this to a few other sites and the manager. Maybe someone else will get the service from a few years ago.
Great view and good food!
This is a beautiful location overlooking the Charlotte skyline. We were from out of town and had wanted to eat outside but dinner seating wasn't available. Ryan, one of the managers, kindly relocated us to a table in the cocktail area that was perfect for our special evening. We had the filet and the lamb chops - both were great choices. Our waiter was very personable as well. After dinner we went out onto the outdoor terrace for photos, etc. Would definitely recommend.
Spectacular Views, Service and Food at Fahrenheit
First of the views are exceptional but the food and beverage choices are also spectacular. I am not crazy about you get to the restaurant (through a hotel elevator to a small room) but everything else is top shelf. If you have not been to Charlotte this would be one of the restaurants I would highly recommend.
What a good time!
Great rooftop restaurant! Sat outside, looking over a fantastic view of downtown Charlotte! Service was great, food was even better! An unexpected surprise! I’ll be back!!

That's what AT sponsorships are for - and you are only paying 25% in the first year and then less in year two and three.
I beliebe @EternalAnt36 was sponsored by @PerceptiveWash44 and is now doing $25k/mo.
You can write on the top sellers profiles (type 'Top 10' in the searchbar) and then tap request sponsorship button after you found the guy or gal like to work with!
