A must in St Barth
Great setting, fantastic service, creative cooking…Highly recommend I am a tuna fanatics.. their tuna served four ways was amazing…
Be the first to ReplyA very disappointing experience
A very disappointing experience! The staff was completely unprofessional and insulted the friend I was dining with. The food did not live up to the reviews. The worst meal we had in St Barths. Very disappointing.

Uninteresting food, served cold, and planter drowned in water. The initial reception was rather unpleasant. Too bad, the setting is quite nice.

The octopus was amazing. The ramen had no heat or taste. Where was the miso base? French cuisine can be bland; just a heads up. The chairs leaned back; no lumbar support.

Thé service was inattentive and food was cold, when raised I was dismissed with no apology , I ordered the seared tuna and with a dish that can barely go wrong , I could not finish the meal
Be the first to ReplyWelcoming and delicious!
This was a delightful find! A very warm vibe - lovely space, like an enclosed courtyard. Super nice service! The menu was inventive without being overly fussy, and the food was deliciously prepared. We went with 8 people and felt so welcome! Came back another night the same week.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious food in beautiful surroundings
Thank you for such a warm welcome, especially from the Sommelier and the absolutely delicious food. The risotto aux Saint Jacques was the best we have ever had. We appreciated every moment in the beautiful surroundings. I would highly recommend; we wish we were staying longer on the island to be able to return.
Be the first to ReplyCome for the venue and hope you don’t get our server.
First, the restaurant is beautiful. Old Caribbean with lots of stone, dark wood, and foliage. Just lovely. Hostess was friendly and gave us a choice of tables. Then downhill from there. Our server was cold and unfriendly. We shared the codfish fritters and the dish arrived with two forks but no serving plates. We also hadn’t been asked yet to order the main course, so we still had the large menus to handle at the small table while we had the fritters. Awkward. Fritters were not very good — dense and greasy. We wanted glasses of a Cabernet with our dinner and the server quickly rattled off three French names I didn’t recognize so I asked for the wine list. It took forever. The server didn’t want to be there and didn’t want to deal with us at all. I noticed that the other servers were helpful and engaging with their guests, but not ours. My duck with Asian noodles was OK. The serving bowl was chipped. Her beef tenderloin was chewy and difficult to cut. All and all, disappointing.
Be the first to ReplyVery mediocre, disappointing
We were very disappointed in Eddy's St. Barth's after having received multiple recommendations. The food was extremely mediocre. My order of "wild prawns with curry and coconut milk" for 31 euros tasted bland and featured 5 shrimp. There was a very poor wine selection by the glass. The clientele was primarily American and corporate. There was no water in the sink faucets in the women's bathroom during our visit. On the positive side, the service was very good, and the atmosphere lovely with breezes enlivening hollowed bamboo chimes.
Be the first to ReplyTerrible Food
Worst meal of my life. Ordered an appetizer of goat cheese samosas which were not even goat cheese and tasted terrible. My husband ordered a steak which was inedible. Service not great either.
Be the first to ReplyBest Dinner!
My husband and I went to Eddy’s on our first day in St Barts. It did not disappoint! We arrived early and the staff seated us right away. The ambiance was outstanding…who would have known this gem existed if you had not walked in the doorway! It was beautiful! My husband had the mushroom appetizer and the veal chop with mushroom pasta main and said it was the best meal he has ever had! He could cut the veal with his fork! We would definitely recommend and will visit again on our next trip to St Barts!
Be the first to ReplyGreat settings but service could be better
We love Eddys every time we go! Food is always good, vibe and atmosphere it always lovely. Just this time round I didn’t feel the love as much this time in the food and in the the service. Although we spent a great evening with laughter. The service felt all over the place and rushed. We knew they were busy when we arrived and service then calmed down. But we sat down, got asked for water then waited and waited, while others were served straight away. We ordered our starters that came out faster than the drinks. We ordered cocktails for the meal that we were still had to wait a bit for. Eventually they arrived and we started to eat. But I would probably say this wasn’t the best visit but without a doubt we will go back again. Try the lamb and the curry goat! Infact most mains are to try 🤤
Be the first to ReplyHidden gem with interesting decor and great food
You could easily walk past this wooden gate in a wall….but walking inside is a great experience with quirky decor, outstanding food and friendly, efficient service. Experience not be missed.
Be the first to ReplyGreat option for a large party
We showed up with 2 groups of 10. They have sitted us at 2 wonderful round wooden tables. They were super busy yet service was great. Food was good and flavorful. My favorite were mango salad with prawns and lobster salad.
Be the first to ReplyDon't Bother
Or at least check to make sure they don't have any large groups booked, then you might have a chance at a better experience. I had a large group seated beside me on my visit, 30 or more. That might explain the poor service (a different person every time I asked to follow-up about something) and the poor quality food. It tasted and looked like something you get at a roadside buffet. A crime given what you pay for meals on the island. But it was atmospheric, I will say that. I was on the island a week and enjoyed all my other meals. This was a big disappointment.
Be the first to ReplySeriously, the worst meal I've had in my lifetime and I'm 60.
Pick somewhere else. Both our entrees were way too salty and lacked flavor. You can get a better green curry from the little can of curry from your local asian grocer. Service was on par with a greasy spoon diner in Queens (actually I'm probably doing Queens diners a disservice in even comparing).
Be the first to ReplyOur favorite dining spot on St. Barths!
Dined here during a recent visit to St. Barths. The setting, the service and the food were all superb. They ended our meal with a complimentary shot of vanilla rum which was wonderful. So welcoming. Located in Gustavia, this place may be a bit hard to find the first time, but definitely worth a visit or two. Can't wait to return.
Be the first to ReplyGreat casual restaurant in St. Barths!
Eddy's is a lovely casual restaurant in St. Barths with delicious food with reasonable prices.
The service was very attentive and mixed drinks were great. The night we went it was packed so be sure to make reservations.
The owner- Eddy's is a good friend of a friend of ours and he came and sat next to our table and it was a pleasure talking to him.
Be sure to make this one of your top restaurant choices when coming to St. Barths.
Eddy’s ghetto is my kind of ghetto
Good food with a very interesting, creative & artistic environment. Good service and Eddy is a trip. You can be sure of a nice time.
Be the first to ReplyLovely Setting , Good Food
Had dinner here on our first night.
Restaurant was full. Great ambiance.
Codfish Fritters - delicious
Goat Curry - tender pieces of goat but I was expecting a nice spicy curry, whereas this was rather bland.
Rack of lamb - perfectly cooked lamb.
Chocolate Spring Rolls- divine
A great evening overall. Great for an introductory dinner as it’s casual and reasonably priced.
Will return.
Island-y feel & yum food
Eddy’s had that island-y feel other restaurants in st barts are missing. Outdoor with greenery everywhere, fans, wood furniture & really good food. They made a vegetarian curry that was delicious & the dessert was amazing. plus, they are not in a rush to push you out the door. Definitely must go to.
Be the first to ReplyAuthentic & Delicious
Fabulous authentic Caribbean food and setting.
The welcoming is warm and friendly, the service is excellent, the food is delicious, the choices plentiful and the prices are very reasonable.
