well priced chic
the Grill is one of the few restaurants that isnโt over priced. while it may have reduced the rib portion by a few ribs, they are still delicious. the salads are good though with a bit too much dressing. the crowd is chic. the service is prompt and the hot fudge sundae and key lime pie great.
Be the first to ReplyAwful hostess / bad service / average food
The rudest reception staff. The order arrived wrong. Waitress apologized, but food was quite disappointing. This is a sister restaurant to Hillstone?? No comparison. Dirty tables, rude staff (chloe is an embarrassment to the hospitality industry), mediocre food. Such a disgrace.

Was favorite place for many years. Went on a weekend night. Could not hear anything including server. The steak was half grizzle. Ordered biscuits they took away one that had not been eaten. Did not realize until too late. Rushed service. Did mention that was not what we were used to and they said would do better next time. Canโt imagine going back.
Be the first to ReplyTerrible place to step on
They asked us to leave beacause we were a family of 6 and their excuse was that they were concentrated on an intimate dinning experience. Personaly i believe that any restaurant should take a family seating and they should not kick you out of a restaurant by just asking for a table. I suggest to donโt even step on a place that kicks you out or asks you to leave just because you asked for a table for 6 persons or in my case, my family. Terrible service and horrible character.

Something is amiss. The crowds are gone on a Saturday night. The menu, mostly frozen in time, varies in portion size, smaller, and price, higher. The meal is rushed and the food is upscale diner, there, I said it. Burger with fries front and center, chicken sandwich, and a side salad. The luster has worn off, the original art on the walls never changes, and the experience has wilted. Maybe hand the keys back to Della Famina? All good things must pass.
Be the first to ReplyBasically the same thing as hillstone but with poor food selection
This is basically Hillstone but with a very limited menu. For such a peak season they should really have better menu options.
Be the first to ReplyTop notch fine dining in a casual atmosphere
This review is somewhat delayed. However, our experience was memorable to the point that I really wanted to get a review out. During a roadtrip to the East coast, my wife and I visited on the recommendation of a fellow traveller. We were seated near the fireplace, which was especially nice , considering the cooler temperature in late April. The ambiance can best be described as casually elegant and we appreciated the soft lighting and comfortable seating. Casey was our primary server. She provided prompt and professional service and was extremely attentive. The General Manager, Samuel, stopped by our table to welcome us, too. This was a nice touch and when I asked, he offered a steak recommendation that I don't regret. We started our meal with the oyster appetizer. Oh, my gosh. I love oysters and have them regularly when on one coast or the other. These were, by far, the best I've ever had and a second order as an entree was tempting. My wife had the ahi tuna. I had several bites and it was "melt-in-your-mouth" delicious. Tuna is a regular in our diet and the quality here is certainly comparable to top grade sushi. Although, I usually lean towards tenderloin, on the manager's suggestion, I went with the bone-in ribeye. I was very pleased. It was perfectly prepared at medium rare, with a consistent color throughout, tender and juicy. Our entire dining experience was great. From the greeting by the hostess at the door, to the table service, to the quality of the food; it's no wonder they were packed during our visit. We enjoyed a relaxed and unhurried evening. Ownership/management appears to have the right formula. We'd go back in a minute!

Be the first to ReplyDelightful Evening
It was easy to make a reservation for dinner and I received a text when our table was ready. The interior had two levels and included a bar area. The wooden walls and the construction of the ceiling kept the sound level down. There was interesting art on the walls. The tables were set with white linens covered with white paper and lighted candles. It created a very nice mood. I found the staff to be friendly and efficient. The menu was the same one that I saw online. The beets and the deviled egg in the salad were delicious. The hamburger was not what I expected but, though quite large and shareable, it was amazing. There was a parking lot next to the restaurant so it was easy to get in and out on a rainy evening.
Be the first to Reply30 MINUTE WAIT EVERYTIME
Like clockwork, if you make a reservation in season, you will wait at least 30 minutes. It happened again tonight! As I write this it is 9:20 - we had 8:45pm reservations. Food is good but PASS if you dint have time to wait!
Be the first to Replyperfect meal after a blustery walk
we ate in the bar area on a Tuesday-great lighting, music, vibe for warming up. Fab Irish coffee and light supper. The perfect winter comfort meal. Service was on point. Very very happy. Will be back.
