Cru Vin & Kjøkken Oslo Reviews from The Last Year
Very good restaurant in central Oslo
We ate upstairs in the restaurant and not downstairs in the wine bar. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and given a nice table. The menu is given with a 5-course meal, and you can order additional dishes. We both ordered crayfish as well. All the dishes were extremely tasty and beautifully presented. Waiters were always present and attentive, and presented all the dishes in an exemplary manner. This was a very pleasant evening. Fantastically good food, and very good service. We will definitely be back.
Piece of plastic in food, and terrible excuses
A couple of good dishes (langoustine, muffin and hollandaise was great) and a lot of mediocre ones, but overall good service from the waiter and sommelier. Found a big piece of plastic in one dish, the and the chef came out and made a total BS excuse, They did not even offer a glass of wine or strike anything from the final bill. Stuff like this is so easy to remedy, but I think this place thinks to highly of themselves. They definetly do not deliver food at the level they think though, some of the dishes are closer to any average hotel restaurant that something that deserves a Michelin reccomendstion. Would not reccomend or visit again.

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
