Best Brunch in LA and it happend to be Plant Based! Try it out. Vegan Must do!
Amazing Vegan Restaurant. We were so lucky to have found it. The brunch was outstanding. I wish we lived in LA so we could eat here more often. I had the chicken and waffles and I thought the chicken tasted better than the chicken tenders I had eaten in the past. I was impressed. My husband had the pancakes that were also divine.

Had a gorgeous meal wanted to dine here 4 years ago when we last came to LA but didn’t have time food was amazing and gorgeous cocktails. Would definitely recommend will be trying there Vegas location in march.
Be the first to ReplyThe most amazing vegan restaurant on the planet
Since my husband is fully vegan (and I am mostly so) this restaurant has been on our Bucket List for a few years. When we knew we would be in LA for a week, visiting from NC, we looked forward to a nice dinner here. We expected it to be very good but it far exceeded our expectations - in fact, we were absolutely floored at how superb it was. We were swooning! We both ordered the Lasagna Bolognese - it was so divine that after the first bite we just stopped and looked at each other with an "OMG" expression. For desert, my husband had the cheese plate and I had the special (cannot remember the name but it was delish). But the main dish was really the star. When we left, we were both stuffed but by the time we drove back to our hotel, we decided we needed to eat here again - in fact, the next day! The next day we arrived around brunch time and ordered Tagliatelle Bolognese and a deep-dish pizza - again, sheer perfection. Now we are planning a trip to Las Vegas so we can eat at the Crossroads every day.

Amazing how every veggie thing here tastes like like its name. The calamari are as delicious as those made from the real thing, and the dishes made with impossible beef are also fabulous. The service is outstanding. This is a must in LA!
Be the first to ReplyAmazingly good vegan (what?!) restaurant with terrific ambiance
Beautiful ambiance with the bar as the centerpiece. Vegan food is their raison d'être but you wouldn't guess if you tried the food without knowing that it was not meat-centric! The food was terrific as was the service. The cocktails are creative (e.g., a Mezcal Negroni) and well-presented. The dishes are utterly creative creations and require multiple visits to try them.

We used to love coming here because they are very happy to make gluten free versions of their food. The food tasted great. So this time around we decided to cater the food to our rental. They were professional and made seven different items in generous amounts. However the quality and taste had deteriorated. 1. Truffle potatoes had too much truffle oil and garlic. 2. Zucchini Blossoms were inedible because the gf breading had been fried too crispy and hard. 3. The calamari similarly had a bizarre consistency and did not taste good. 4. Roasted cauliflower tasted good but was cut in a way that left the hard core. 5. Braised leeks tasted good but again they left on the hard green part that should have been removed. 6. Truffle pizza had too much truffle oil which overpowered the mushrooms. 7. Spaghetti Carbonara was probably the best part but even that was average. Disappointing.

This restaurant really surprised us. Beautifully presented vegan food with subtle flavourings and thoughtful combinations on the same plate. In addition, the deserts were exceptional as this is usually a sore point at vegan restaurants. Highly recommended.

Delicious food, great service and outdoor seating. I went for Saturday brunch and enjoyed the Benedict special and blackberry mimosas.
Be the first to ReplyWorst experience.
Worst dining experience. Ruined my birthday night. I took my self out for dinner and was ignored the entire night. I was told at first it’s because he assumed I was waiting on someone(this was 20min in. Not once was I acknowledged or asked if I was waiting); when actually spoken to, I was rushed then told, “Since you had to wait, I’ll let you take your time.” Uh what? My server forgot to put orders in; including my drink(which I waited on for another 20+ min). He cursed out loud both times when realizing he forgot. I was brought items I didn’t order. My pasta came out cold, pasty, unseasoned, and dry. When brought a re-fire dish, I had to flag down my waiter for silverware just so I could eat it; to which he pulled a spoon out of his pocket and put it in my pasta. I had to ask for a fork. I was charged for items I never ordered and charged for a more expensive pasta than I ate. I spent my whole birthday evening working to get noticed, and working to get service and food at a reservation I set. All while watching my server cater to other tables, including the one next to me, and check on them. This was my first time here. I was super excited. Instead I had the worst dining experience and felt like the unwanted Black chick in the corner. So disrespectful and disappointing.

I went here to grab late dinner, and easy to process it because I decided to make reservations in advance, which was nice. Bh, the host suggested since we were early and in no rush to stop by the bar and grab a drink while we waited, and the bartender was also adorable and welcoming, and for it being busy, that’s a plus. Right after it didn’t take long for us to be seated, our server gave us time to chat even though we didn’t even peek at the funny menu. But he gave us suggestions and was so our server attentive and friendly. I didn’t take pictures of everything we are but an overall great experience. If you are in the area, stop by

I cannot recommend eating here enough the waiter was so great at offering suggestions on what to eat. The food was incredible so delicious. I don’t like mushrooms at all and the Calamari Fritti which were made from king oyster mushrooms were absolutely incredible. The Spicy Rigatoni was divine and so was the Lasagna Bolognese. I could not recommend eating here enough! All three course that we ate did not disappoint at all.

Unlike a lot of other plant based restaurants, this place has a very nice, almost fine-dining ambiance. We went here for dinner, and tried several dishes which were overall very good. Our favorite was the pizza with truffles and mushroom: 10/10. Unlike the rest of the US they have somewhat regular portion sizes, so the "bang-for-your-buck" is a bit lower than at other restaurants. However, you can order several dishes without getting completely ruined as the prices are decent. Nevertheless, they still need to upgrade their service a bit to be a complete "fine-dining experience". The time-limit for the reservation (and very busy personell) made us feel a bit rushed, and we got the sense that the personell did not have the time to attend the customers properly.

Great restaurant, with great options. There is something for everyone and even my husband, who is a staunch meat and potatoes guy, liked it. He didn’t know it was all vegan until the waiter made sure we knew. We had the caprese, lasagna, and rigatoni. Delicious! We had reservations and got right in but it did look like they had lots of available seats while we were there.

Every single thing on the menu is delicious and a must try. Everything. From pizzas, to oysters, to cheese to signature cocktails.

I came here to celebrate my birthday with my partner on a Friday night. Boy the place was pumping and had plenty of atmosphere. Having heard it can be loud I requested a quiet table and was placed in the back section (away from the main bar/bistro) which was an absolutely perfect fit! It was so exciting to have a full vegan menu to choose from. We didn’t opt for the tasting and rather shared a range of dishes which was more than enough. We let ourselves be guided by the server about the favourite dishes which was a great decision. All dishes were delicious and generously sized. Our stand outs were the truffle potatoes and roasted maitake. We were too full to tackle dessert. Memorable dinner out and no misses with the dishes we had!

Why oh why are there not Crossroad Kitchens all over the US?! Ate there last night with my family and couldn’t believe how amazing the food is. Everything was delicious. If we lived locally, I would go once a week. The squash pasta was unbelievably good. I might dock a 1/2 a point for service - although very attentive, our server seemed annoyed to be there. But no, the food was too good!
Be the first to Replyinteresting vegan creations yet a bit pricey and nto as tasty
interesting options i would not think to make at home, yet the flavors were not as great as the ingenuity. service was a bit too much attention and for the money there are better options.
Be the first to ReplyPerfect fancy vegan dinner
Great vegetarian food that 'imitates' common meat/fish dishes. Hat the 'calamari' and the 'steak' - the fake-steak even came 'medium-rare'. The vegan coconut-icecream was also delicious. They also have a great selection of Californian wines (not vegan). Great outdoor patio with heaters. Everything tasted superyummo, will defo go there more often. Reservation necessary (plan ahead, they book out fast).

Our daughter loves Crossroads and took us there for lunch. Wonderful healthy vegan food. Service was excellent.
Be the first to ReplySimply The Best!
Divine. Food for your soul & your cells.
1. Inventive items like the sublime "oyster" bites to comfort favorites like the carbonara or veal/chicken parmiganna.
2. Best pizza ever - and i only recently gave up non plant pizza. Everyone in my party including meat cheese eaters loved it and said it is by far one of the best.
3. Tal Ronnen is my HERO.
4. Thank you to Kathy Freson for putting Crossroads on my radar. Forever in your debt and also for any of you readers out there...leaning in...highly recommend her books: Veganish and 72 Reasons to be Vegan.
5. Drove from Santa Barbara just to dine. My plant based daughter bday choice...i wish i could come every week!
6. Staff and service is always excellent.
7. Make Reservations.
8. Seriously i would write poetry to Tal and Crossroads if i could...they deserve an Ode as any only a giant like Pablo Neruda could have composed.
In Gratitude Crossroads!
I'm in love with this place 🥰
I'm in love with this place! The service is great, and the food is delicious. I love how creative they are with their plant based menu. And, I love that my carnivorous boyfriend enjoys it as much as I do.
On our last visit, we had the artichoke oysters which may be my new menu favorite. The carbonara is his favorite, so we order it every time we go. The chicken parmesan was really good. I've never had the "real" version, so I can't compare them. The strawberry rhubarb neopolitan dessert was so creamy and amazing. It might tie with the artichoke oysters for my favorite. Wow!
Very happy vegans!
Had an absolutely wonderful, mid-week, mid-pandemic dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed the charred ricotta and pizza of the day as starters. The artichoke oysters were lovely and works of art. We absolutely devoured the fettucine and truflles (what a treat!) Thought the rapini was tasty but not sure if we would order again. Service was excellent and we look forward to going back!

ust take out and delivery right now, obviously, but I had an amazing experience at Crossroads yesterday. While I've used the wonderful cookbook, I'd never tried the restaurant. I ordered for a pick up. The man and woman at the desk (I didn't get their names, duh) were the nicest and most helpful people imaginable. And then the food! The meatloaf is To. Die. For. I mean, crazy good. And I have no idea how they make the vegan burrata for the antipasto appetizer but Wow. Killer. Everything was terrific (loved the chickpea marsala, also.) This is seriously good food and, as a carnivore, I will say any meat eater will be satisfied and contemplate switching over!

I love meat, and I love Crossroads. Anyone can have a delicious meal here and everyone should. By eating vegan you’re doing well by the planet, and by eating at Crossroads you’re doing well by your tastebuds. I loved the chicken Parmesan tonight, the kale Caesar, and the banana cream pie. Delish!!
