This is the perfect spot for a girls night out, date night, or to celebrate a special occasion. The decor is trendy and fun yet chic - it gets quite lively later in the evening. Service was impeccable and food came out fast and hot - although one of our meals came significantly later than the first (which was fine since we were sharing anyways). The borek spring rolls were delicious- crispy and spicy. Lamb meatballs were pretty good but nothing special. The pizzas were good- would recommend the spicy salami. Looking forward to going back to try more of the menu!

Entering Coquette, you'll be embraced by an atmosphere that's both charming and refined. Indulge in Coastal French Cuisine: A Symphony of Tastes Coquette's menu transports you along the Mediterranean coast, showcasing the bounty of fresh seafood, artisanal pizzas reminiscent of Capri, and elegantly crafted entrรฉes. Be the first to ReplyBeautiful and fun restaurant with delicious food as well.
I would recommend getting a bunch of things to try and share, everything is great. There was also a live violinist playing around the restaurant and it made dinner more fun!

Had an event nearby on a Monday night, and we decided to stop here for dinner. Immediately walking it there was such a fun and fancy atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to me as I was waiting for my friend to show up. The decor is very French/Italian. Our server was very nice and answered my many questions about the menu. I wish there were more options on the menu. The food we selected was very hit or miss, in my opinion. However, we were trying things smi had before or different combinations of foods that I wouldn't have thought to put together

I was very excited to try Coquette, mostly because the vibe seemed different from other places in Boston. The decor was stunning in this restaurant, which is located in the Omni Hotel, Seaport. The food, however, was not very pleasant. I visited Coquette with a group of 7, 8 including myself, and we ordered drinks and appetizers to start. The drinks, overall I would rate the ones we had 3/10. Each of us only had one drink and did not finish our drinks because they were not good. We ordered entrees once we figured out what we all wanted and waited about an hour for our food to arrive. Only one of our appetizers came before our entrees and the other 2 appetizers we ordered arrived while we tried to enjoy our entrees. All 8 of our entrees came to us lukewarm at best; none of our food came sizzling hot or hot at all. Along with the temperature issue of our food, most of the food was bland. For appetizers, we had raw oysters, steak tartare, and sicilian potato croquettes. Overall, not an enjoyable experience here at Coquette, which is quite disappointing. Also, not sure if the night we visited was just an off night, but it was super unpleasant that everyone employee at not only the restaurant, however, hotel workers seemed miserable and had an attitude. Very unwelcoming environment and slow service. In all honesty, I wanted to give a 1 star rating. I added an extra star only because our server was sweet and accommodating. Otherwise, I will never return here in the future.

Such a beautiful place! The food is amazing, pricy but worth it. NA drinks are good. Pizza is not worth the hype but everything else we ate was phenomenal. Service was excellent. We celebrated a friends birthday and they brought the cake we brought with candles and cut the cake for us.

There was a great vibe the second we walked in. We received a warm welcome from the host and were able to nab prime seats at the bar. The bartenders (actually very talented mixologists) were friendly and attentive. When asked what we were celebrating I responded with the truth...."life!". What was the response?......a huge smile, cheer, and very kind (very yummy) dish on the house. Drinks were delicious, food delicious, great decor and mood. This was supposed to be our first spot of making rounds to other bars for apps/tapas. Within 10 minutes decided to make it our only. Look forward to returning.

Be the first to ReplyCame here for a quick dinner before catching a show nearby.
It was a Wednesday night, so not very busy. Seated right away. Sat at our table for 15 minutes waiting for our waiter to even look at us. Nothing- even as other tables around us were being taken care of, including a table that was seated after us. This, along with our limited time was enough. We just got up and left.
Be the first to ReplyI went to Coquette to celebrate a friend's Birthday
I went to Coquette to celebrate a friend's Birthday celebration, we were a group of 12 including me. Let me highlight the positive of this establishment: The restaurant boasts a beautiful and spacious ambiance. If you're in the mood for a "night club" feel with very loud music and an array of drinks from which to choose, then this might do. Otherwise, the food is French only in name and pretentiousness. My friends ordered the french fries, which were super salty: I grabbed a few and all I could taste was the salt. My husband and I ordered the "tarte flambรฉ, the duck confit and the wild mushroom "tarte flambรฉ. When the appetizers arrived, everyone received theirs, except of course, my husband and me. Meanwhile, I had a taste of someone else's duck confit tarte flambรฉ, and it wasn't good at all. The crust was mediocre, the duck meat was of subpar quality, and the so called gruyรจre cheese tasted more like a strong blue cheese than gruyรจre. So I dared asked our server (a Woman with a very bad attitude) where our appetizers were. I inquired: "Where is the tarte flambรฉ that we ordered? " She responded, "What"? I repeated myself once again, to which she replied with a very insolent attitude: You mean, the flatbread, It's called "confit"! No, Server with an impudent stance, it's called "Tarte Flambรฉ, as indicated on your menu. If you wanted that appellation, then it should have been written on the menu as "Flatbread and not "Tarte Flambรฉ". Her tone of voice was rude and uncalled for. I was just trying to make sure that we were not forgotten. Also, I have included a picture of the menu that clearly reads - "Tarte Flambรฉ" , and not flatbread. I also included a picture of myself at the restaurant. This server was very vociferous and rude, and she humiliated me in front of the other guests that were invited to this Birthday dinner celebration. She attempted to school me, someone who has lived in France, about a simple food, the "tarte flambรฉ", that I first had in the region of France where it originated, Alsace. Regardless of my knowledge, she should not have been rude and impudent. Needless to say, I lost my appetite and didn't bother to eat anything. When, this server brought the sliced cake after we sang "Happy Birthday", even my portion was messed up while everyone else's was neat and esthetically pleasing. I didn't eat the slice of cake either. I could see from the get-go of this evening, that this server (No name, but she's Greek and had glasses) didn't care for me. She made sure to ruin the whole experience for me. At the on-start, she kept leaning on my chair and pushing me into the table, instead of turning to the side to give everyone their drinks. I'm not sure what it was that made me a target, but the bull's eye was on me. I will never go back to Coquette under any circumstances.
Be the first to ReplySorry, very, very disappointed.
Simply said, if I ask you what brands of bourbon you have, don't say you don't know, please find out. If you are going to take my order, please write it down, don't try to memorize it and come back after 10 minutes to take it again. Most importantly, if you are going to charge me $115 for a 32oz ribeye, please give me a 32oz ribeye, not 16. That is bad business. Oh, the music was good, way too loud, but good...

Stopped by after work for a quick drink and had a really nice time! I sat at the bar and the service was great. They open at 5pm and fill up super quick! I had the hummus which came in a big thin chip, it was good but I'd definitely like to try some other menu items. The gin and tonic was delicious and I ended the night with an espresso martini. Theirs is made with a cognac rather than vodka and it was a nice but strong flavor. The bar ceiling is so cute and the dining space also looked nice!
Be the first to ReplyVibe wise 10/10.
Literally gorgeous inside. However it is quite pricey for small portions and not a diverse menu especially if you're a picky eater. However everything we got tasted super good you just may want to consider sharing multiple things. I also recommend ordering fries for the table.
Be the first to ReplyOut of this world plates served tapas style for sharing.
The lamb meatballs were literally the best I've ever had. The spinach dumplings - which were sort of like an intensely flavorful and soft gnocchi - were amazing, the lobster croquettes were amazing, the overall ambiance was amazing. The only downside is that for the size of the plate it is pretty pricey - four meatballs will run about $20, but if you're celebrating or want to splurge - this is your spot.

Was NOT impressed hostess/waitress was rude and complained that I joined my daughter and her friends celebrating her friend's 17th bday...at her table. Waitress was very offensive by saying I stole a chair that I need to return it back to the table beside me for the patrons being seated. I felt humiliation and there was NO apology. THIS PLACE IS NOT VERY WELCOMING WOULD NOT DINE HERE EVER AGAIN!!

I picked Coquette because I've had great experiences at sister restaurants Mariel and Lolita. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole energy of the restaurant. There was a DJ and violinist and it was one of the most fun times I've had at a restaurant since moving to Boston. Our waitress Milla was a gem and took great care of us. The food also exceeded expectations. We had shared a couple of the small plates including the duck chichons, charred caulilini, joues de boeuf and salmon tartare toast. I will definitely be coming back soon to Coquette.

Great vibe awesome bar the music entertainment is on point but to be honest not very impressed with the food , I really did expected more from the French experience, Boston has better french places to enjoy .
Be the first to ReplyReally beautiful interior.
Went here for dinner for my moms birthday and all of the food was very delicious. I tried tuna tartare for the first time and actually liked it (coming from someone who is picky about seafood). Super fun menu and good service, would definitely recommend!
Be the first to ReplyInside the Omni hotel with plenty of garage parking nearby.
At first I assumed that the Instagram-bait decor meant the food would be mediocre but I was very wrong. The food is all delicious, perfectly prepared and very intensely flavorful. Some might find the salt levels too high. Impressive wine list and the sommelier is clearly a veteran. Energetic and attentive service all around.

I was excited to try this place as the atmosphere looked cute and inviting. We were disappointed there were no 'sides' substitute for the steak...fries only. Would have been nice to have a vegetable option. Medium steaks all came out Medium rare. I didn't mind but beware if you are not a fan of rare. The main reason I was prompted to write this review was the fact that after choosing 'still' water, which is usually tap water, we were surprised to see each guest was charged $8 per glass of water..so $40 for tap water for our table. Should have been mentioned while offering. The staff was attentive but took way too long for food-especially since they were only cooked medium rare. I wouldn't recommend this place there's better in the vicinity.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is gorgeous -- super instagramable.
Right in the heart of the seaport, and I couldn't wait to try it. Our waiter was a bit rude and aloof, but it felt like it went with the theme. The food was actually delicious -- but about two hours later, I wasn't feeling so well. Both my friend and I ended up with an awful end to our night with intense food poisoning.

I have to agree with my sister's take on mentioning that Coquette will be considered one of Boston's top dining establishments. The ambiance is opulent, and the location is extremely wonderful. Bruno was a pleasure to have serve my sister and I. He was very amiable and amusing. Everything was presented in an exquisite and lovely manner. All portion sizes were ideal for sharing, the flavors were well-balanced, and everything was served promptly. For appetizers we order the white clam flatbread, beyond tasty and ideal for sharing. Bold, distinct flavors are found in the spicy mussels picante. Along side that the beach dip which was delicious, that included chips and a light sauce. As an entrรฉe it's impossible to resist the baked stuffed lobster! The sauce du camembert, found in the stuffing was simply amazing, brought the abundance of seafood and vegetables together. We concluded by having the superb cafรฉ bizcocho for dessert. Keep in mind that the drinks here are potent and expertly crafted here. With its intensely authentic flavor, an espresso martini was the only logical choice to accompany our dessert. Additionally had The Agnes Souret, which was robust yet silky smooth. All things considered, eating here has been one of my favorite dining occasions.

This place never disappoints, the food is excellent and the ambiance is unmatched. If you like gin & tonics, they have 3 variations and you can't go wrong with anyone of them. This is my 4th visit and I've had a great time every time. I will say that the fries were dry on the mussel picante but I've had the same dish for the last 2 times I've been there and it was great each time so I'd say that was an anomaly. We also had the lamb meatballs, Merda de Can (I was shocked at how good that was, not a vegetarian at all), wild boar sticky ribs ( my favorite dish there) and my friends had the salmon, Petite steak frites and the Jones de bouef which they all said were amazing.
